Literally the hole in the wall hidden gem dream that people describe when talking about Coronado 🤭🤭🤭. Would recommend going during happy hour, which is early 3-4. Very crowded place with a lively talkative atmosphere. The food is rather expensive but mostly worth it!! Highly recommend the chicken nachos as they come LOADED with stuff and taste delicious.

This place was recommended by many people. The food was....okay! There was 10 of us and everyone needed salt!!! Our waiter Michael was not good! At all!! The outside patio was beautiful!!!!! I loved the feel of Mexico. The walkway to get to the patio was beautiful!!!!!! The atmosphere was thee best part of this restaurant! Not sure I would return.

We have been to Miguels before but this night was above and beyond the best. The flour chips and salsa were incredible as was the guacamole. I loved my cheese enchilada, my husband had the fajitas with chicken and shrimp and preferred the chicken. I had the blackberry margarita which was superb! Our service was fast, kind and outstanding. We can't wait to go back!

4.5 stars. Service was fast and friendly. Chips and salsa also came with Queso dip which was very tasty. Tacos were legit tasty and the beans had good flavor. I enjoyed the mole sauce on my tacos. Margarita and mojito were both great. The only downside was the atmosphere was like a greenhouse because of the cover and location between buildings - hot and no breeze for circulation.

This place is absolutely delicious. We were greeted by friendly faces and given a seat quickly. Then came the chips, salsa, and queso. The queso was seriously some of the best I've ever had. The outdoor area is much prettier than the inside seating area (which is where we ended up) but the food made up for it. Everything we ordered was delicious. The tamales were incredible. Also the mango margarita was exactly what the doctor ordered! We had great food, great service, and a great time. Highly recommend.

One of the best Mexican restaurants. Walkable from beach 🏖️ and has lots of seating place inside and outside. Finding parking next to it may be challenging but you will easily find one walkable from here.

Great outdoor seating, delicious chips & salsa, and tasty drinks! Saw reviews about it being Vegetarian friendly but I'd disagree. There's a couple Vegetarian options (Sopes, Bean and Potato Enchilada, Bean and Vegetable Enchilada) but nothing to shout about if you're used to more vegan/Vegetarian options. The server was a little confused at my request to do a chimichanga with veggies instead of meat, but I persisted she ask the chef and they gave in. It was good, but letting my Vegetarian/vegan folks know to keep it simple!

Solid. Good. That was the feeling all around our table. And that’s all I was hoping for in this price range and location. Our server was great but the other staffer who ignored us twice at check in not so much.

Visited here on an early Sunday afternoon and sat on the patio. The atmosphere is amazing and decorated so cute and the food was even better! My daughter who lived in San Diego for the Navy had always made this a regular stop so when I came for a week’s visit she told me I had to try it. I ordered the Sampler and everything was so delicious and flavorful! The salsa that you get with your chips was outstanding! Besides that, the prices were very reasonable.

Fun, casual Mexican restaurant just across the street from the Hotel del Coronado with seating both inside and outside, in a lovely courtyard. Went for an early dinner on the Sunday before Thanksgiving and it really only started getting crowded around 6. Ordered a Coronado Breeze cocktail, horchata, pork belly tacos, and Ahi tuna tacos. All were solid, and the horchata was great!

We started out with the salsa and queso. The queso was decent, i wouldn’t order it if it wasn’t complimentary. I really enjoyed the salsa though. Mixing them together was the best course of action. I ordered the tacos Al Carbon. It was not worth the price. The skirt steak had okay flavor but the taco was just bland. The beef was very chewy and difficult to eat in taco form. The beans and rice was very good. My husband got the carne asada burrito and he really enjoyed it.
