Best Thai takeout in the Newark area that I’ve had. High quality flavor & authenticity. Only negative I’ve found is that sometimes the appetizer portions are too small for the price. Despite that, I highly recommend it.

Very friendly staff. Food was good and reasonably priced. Place was cozy also. Missing some typical of the popular thai menu that I know of.

I went to Topaz with my girlfriend. It was very good the ambience and the atmosphere was very nice. The food was awesome and we like it a lot. We got : 1. Crispy shrimp roll. 2. Basil fried rice. 3. Asian wok style ( garlic chicken) Everything was very good and yummy. We liked Asian wok style garlic chicken a lot. They also gave small candies with the bill. Shoutout to Lexi, who suggested us and gave us informations about the dish. She was very friendly as well. Will recommmend people in nearby place to go and try out this restaurant. Will visit again soon.

It has been a few years since we’ve dined in, but we frequently order takeout — and it’s—consistently—delicious! I’ve been helped by reviews when making decisions about where to eat, shop, etc. and am trying to get better about leaving reviews that could possibly help others. My favorite items are the Basil fried rice with chicken and tofu and Tom Yum soup. My family likes the Topaz fried rice and pad see ew.

If you haven't tried this place out, and you love Thai food, you will love this place! We had the papaya salad, it was fresh, tasty, and crisp. Generous portion, enough for two people to share. Then we had the Thom Kah soup. It was delicious 😋 one of the best I ever had. Finally came the chicken Kra Pow, with plenty of Thai basil, garlic, string beans, a very generous portion, we both had to bring some home. You can order white or brown rice with it. There was also delicious dessert choices but we were too full. The place was very clean and bright. The service was excellent. Give it a try

Food tastes great, but the portion size is lacking. I ordered shrimp drunken noodles for an extra $2 ($18+ worth of food) and only got 4 pieces of shrimp. A little overpriced for the quantity of food -- portions seem to have gotten a lot smaller since doing solely take -out. Disappointed - wish they'd go back to in person dining. Atmosphere at the restaurant used to be homey/lively, but now is depressing

I frequent this place quiet often for lunch with my work buddies. Its a nice, cozy Thai restaurant serving pretty tasty food. It has good seating with decent Decor. They have pretty reasonable pricing, especially their lunch specials are perfect @ $8/9. I have found the food quiet flavorful and tasty. Note, few may find the food spicy and let the staff know about your preferences. However, the service may run slow especially when the restaurant is crowded. Often observed this while visiting them with large groups. The menu at Topaz Thai is quiet vegetarian & vegan friendly. They have a lunch special menu where each dish can be ordered with vegetables or tofu(vegan options) as the choice of protein and comes with a side of soup/salad. I found the simple miso soup made with some spices and vegetables really flavorful and always look forward to trying it each time I visit. I absolutely love their spicy Thai basil noodles with Tofu, also tried the Massamun curry & Rama Curry which too were great. The curry options are served with a cup of rice on the side. Recommendations: Spicy Thai Basil Noodles with Tofu/Vegatables Massamun Curry with Tofu Rama Curry with Tofu Overall, I would recommend this restaurant for some good Thai food and reasonable pricing. But sometimes the service may run pretty slow.
