I
have
never
experienced
anything
so
rude
in
the
restaurant!
Yesterday
I
ordered
two
espressos
to-go
with
my
companion
at
Cafe
Herzog
-
my
companion
was
asked
for
sugar
for
his
espresso,
which
I
didn't
notice
(I
wasn't
asked).
The
bartender
then
naturally
poured
the
sugar
into
both
espressos
himself
(which
would
have
been
ok).
When
I
noticed
it
with
the
first
sip,
I
just
politely
asked
for
a
new
espresso
without
sugar
because
I
wouldn't
like
it
that
way.
NOW
COMES
THE
ABSOLUTE
NO-GO!!!!
-
The
bartender
reacted
extremely
rudely
to
my
request
and
asked
me
why
I
would
behave
like
that
and
that
you
have
to
drink
it
with
sugar
anyway,
and
that
they
were
under
stress
and
THE
CUSTOMERS
HAD
TO
BE
CAREFUL
and
it
wasn't
his
fault.
As
if
that
wasn't
enough,
he
didn't
want
to
accept
my
€10
note
because
it
had
a
1cm
tear
on
the
long
side
and
"the
machine
probably
wouldn't
accept
it,
like
I
did
the
espresso"
-
absolute
harassment.
I
stood
in
front
of
the
counter,
stunned,
and
could
hardly
believe
what
I
was
being
accused
of
as
a
CUSTOMER
about
a
new
espresso.
Even
guests
who
had
to
witness
the
whole
spectacle
could
only
shake
their
heads.
I
realize
that
one
person
doesn't
make
up
the
whole
store.
However,
if
you
read
the
reviews,
you
can
see
that
it
was
not
an
isolated
case
and
that
the
assessments
vary
widely,
which
seems
questionable
to
me
personally.
Conclusion:
As
a
potential
guest,
I
would
think
three
times
about
stopping
there.
