Very good experience, the pickup process was very smooth and Kumar, our driver was extremely courteous and helpful. He was available at any time we needed him, and also dropped us back to the airport at 4am with no complaints. Would definitely recommend this service for anyone looking to make a booking.

I booked the taxi from the Colombo airport to Amari Galle hotel. The booking was done by WhatsApp one day before the trip. The driver was waiting for us at arrivals. The car was clean and comfortable. The driver was very professional. Great service! I would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a transfer from the airport to a hotel.

We had booked a Toyota KDH with taxi.lk for 5 days. The experience was seamless from booking till the day we were dropped off at the airport. Highly recommend them for their promptness and professionalism.

Please do not use this company! We booked online for a transfer from Tangalle to Galle. After 30 minutes of waiting for the taxi and no answer from the phone number they had given us, we finally got through to someone who told us the taxi had ‘broken down’ which was clearly a lie. After an hour of waiting we had no choice but to cancel and find alternative transportation. They cannot be trusted so please avoid and use another taxi service!

Buyers beware! These people lie and cheat. I would give them zero stars if I could. First, they advertise a car on their website as being suitable for "5 people and 2 bags". However, when the car arrives, it turns out that it can only fit EITHER 5 people OR 2 bags, but not both. Then, we are promised a replacement car within one hour. To ensure we are locked in, they require us to place a second deposit, promising to "immediately refund" the first. This was over 2 weeks ago. After many calls, messages and promises from their side, I'm still waiting for my refund. Moreover, the replacement car took two, not one hour to arrive. In the meantime, our entire family is stranded with bags and without lunch, wondering what is going on as the Taxi.lk team stops responding to calls and messages. After the car finally arrives, it turns out that the financial deal they struck with the driver is different from what we were promised and we ended up in an argument over toll fees etc. Very disappointed and annoyed. UPDATE (8 weeks later) - nice to see an apology by the company below in response to my rating, but honestly, I’d rather have my money back. Still waiting!

Taxi.lk provided my wife and I an excellent experience during our two week tour of Sri Lanka. The website provided transparent and very reasonable instant quotes for the variety of services and vehicles on offer. Most of all, we really appreciated our extremely knowledgeable, polite and remarkably skillful driver, Chiranth. More than a driver, he is an excellent guide and historian. We learned much from him and he always gave us great advise on what to see and do, and where best to eat and shop. The condition of the vehicle was impeccable- it kept us comfortable despite some winding mountain roads and busy city traffic. Back office support was also excellent, with easy, clear email communication.

The drivers were helpful and on time. Their cars are spacious but the big car is a little bit old. Will use their airport transfer service again

I booked 3 rides with this company during my stay in Sri Lanka. Each time the driver was in contact with me before the pick up and they were reliable. The prices were also good and I was able to email the company or Whatsapp them before hand to get my drivers names and contact details. I travelled solo and I felt safe each time. The worst experience ever had with a cab booking service. Booking 1 Kosgade to Hikkadua. booked for 830am. No one showed up. After trying for 10 minutes some responded at the number on the booking confirmation and said cab wont come before 930. I asked for cancellation which they did. Booking 2 Trip from KOsagade to COlombo. THe service provider called me from 9am assured cab is outside but they key telling 10 minutes away then after 30 mintes it had broken down. They ow my 20000LKR which they have not refunded. ON both days i wasted 90 minutes and not to mention the money which they have not refunded. I saw some good reviews which made me opt for them but it could be the reviews are managed

I used this service for a drop-off at the airport just yesterday. I made a reservation in the late evening but the response was quick. The car was very clean, new, and comfortable. It was a safe comfortable ride to the airport. It was excellent. I’d definetely like to use the service again.

Booked 3 different trips and everything was fine. Cheapest fares we could find for long(ish) distance trips. Drivers were punctual/early except for the second trip because the driver couldn't find our hotel. The cars were clean and drivers friendly. Would recommend.
