Started with gyoza, then a steamed egg dish, yamagata beef and finished with a noodle okonomiyaki dish. Lots of grapefruit sours and the homemade plum wine on ice. Great night.

Best meal we’ve eaten through our travels around Japan so far! Every dish was outstanding. The yamagata beef was an absolute standout from the specials menu and the two gentleman running this little place were friendly and helpful despite our inability to speak any japanese. The home made plum wine is also a must!

We went here late with a group of four and couldn't have had a better experience. They served us with prompt and amazingly friendly interactions, and we discovered later they even stayed past closing time to bring us food. Both the owner and waitress were kind, funny and welcoming. The atmosphere was warm and the Beatles theme added some interesting colour! Above all, however, the food was absolutely delicious, exactly what four hungry girls were looking for. They accommodated our vegetarianism and provided okonomiyaki that surpassed anything on our trip so far. Can't recommend this place highly enough and would go back as soon as possible.
