Nice Mountain View with snow (I really love big windows from your room). Room, bath and meals are excellent. Shuttle service to Yamagata is available. The sulfur bath outside was good, but you have to take coat and boot in the winter, quite inconvenience.

Very good service and full of facilities They provide -lounge which is free of coffee,tea, water and ice cream - massage armchair - massage (with charge) - Onsen 2 locations Indoor and Outdoor - Yukata clothes with the variety of choice/color/printing - A lot of parking lot And I recommend to choose the choice with dinner and breakfast as it is good and the hotel is quite far from downtown or the convenient store. Dinner is very good taste and beautiful decoration

The hotel is quite old but in good condition. It’s onsen service is good, indoor onsen and a outdoor onsen 100 meters apart . It has two sister hotels where their onsen are also open to us, pick up cars available upon request too.

I love the atmosphere of this hotel, the facilities are simpler, comparing to its sister hotel , Zao International hotel , but it's much quiet, and serene. The location is perfect too, 5 minutes walk to one of major ski lifts. You can also request shuttle bus to Central ski lift, or wherever you want to ho. I love the two onsens, one is outside hotel, really special one. The hotel provides boots, and warm coat thoughtfully. So you can just wear yokata to this onsen. The snow quality is really good, the runs are mixed with different levels, I would suggest to really get yourself familiar with those routes on the first day. Then, enjoy your ski time. For most of people in this hotel , they booked with morning and dinner food plans, which was very reasonable price, I didn't want to eat too much, just took the breakfast. There are a few restaurants, but quite limited. Also on Wednesday, it's kind of holiday for zao onsen, many restaurants were closed on Wednesday. Be aware. Overall, that is such a lovely hotel. I will come back again.

The hotel is fantastic, with a quiet and comfortable environment for accommodation. Also, spacious and clean room. Both outdoor and indoor hot springs are available. The staff is very friendly and attentive. The dinner at the hotel is delicious.

Good room, great Onsen and close to ski area. Breakfast and dinner included in price and attention to the fine art of the Japanese it was superb.

We got the dinner and breakfast package for 5pax sharing in 1 Japanese style room. There is no bath/shower in the room, only toilet. You need to use the shared bath/onsen, one in the hotel and one separate bath/onsen outside the hotel, both has an open air bath (rotenburo) Dinner and breakfast is good. You can also use the lounge which has coffee, ice candy and juice. It is a little bit pricey considering we already got 35% discount because of Go To Travel campaign. We paid 20K yen each. Overall, will still recommend and go back.

If you are looking for great food, spectacular hot spring (sulfur-based meditating onsen inside and outside) and amazing customer service, you should try this hotel ! -service: Hotel is very clean and staff is extremely nice. They welcome you with local sweets and lady can select their favorite yukata ! I loved the classical Japanese room with tatami ! -Hot spring: The water is very acidic (pH ~1.4) and you can smell sulfur all over the town. It has many good effects. It exfoliates your dead skin, leaving your skin extremely silky after the bath. Also this water is really effective to treat eczema. It also warm you up from the very inside of your body ! -Food: They serve local ingredients and they are very delicious (especially beef and rice!!) I enjoyed dinner and breakfast :) -

Very grand nice hotel, beautiful meals, great Onsens, handy for the ski lifts. Excellent staff cater efficiently to request. Lovely entrance and foyer.

Very friendly staff, clean and spacious rooms, and very good food. A great place to stay with family or friends. Traditional Japanese style rooms and delicious local cuisine makes for a great experience.

Not the fanciest facility, but the staff here were amazing! Everyone is so kind and accommodating. The dinner is very delicious, too. My mom and I stayed here for 4 days, and it has become one of our favorite hotels in Japan. Definitely coming back!
