The
Church
of
the
Holy
Blessed
Prince
Alexander
Nevsky
was
built
relatively
recently,
but
is
very
popular
not
only
among
local
residents;
parishioners
from
other
districts
of
Moscow
also
visit
this
temple.
Several
years
ago,
a
small
temple
stood
on
this
site,
consecrated
in
honor
of
St.
Nicholas
the
Wonderworker.
In
summer,
it
was
buried
in
greenery
and
could
not
be
seen
from
the
road.
Now,
next
to
the
old
temple,
the
wonderful
snow-white
Alexander
Nevsky
Church
rises
on
the
high
bank
of
the
Samorodinka
River,
on
the
outskirts
of
the
Olympic
Village-80
park.
Most
of
the
parishioners
of
this
temple
took
an
active
part
in
the
construction
and
improvement.
Trees
were
planted,
a
flower
garden
and
flower
beds
were
laid
out
on
the
territory
of
the
temple.
There
is
also
a
store
with
church
goods,
monastery
products
and
souvenirs,
a
cafe
with
very
tasty
pastries,
drinks,
healthy
food
and
proper
ice
cream.
There
is
a
small
children's
playground
on
the
temple
grounds.
The
inside
of
the
temple
is
also
beautiful,
but
its
arrangement
is
not
yet
finished.
Thanks
to
the
wisdom
of
the
rector
of
the
temple
and
the
priests,
who
treat
the
parishioners
with
great
love,
a
very
warm
atmosphere
has
been
created
in
the
temple.
The
church
hosts
musical
evenings,
a
cinema
club,
a
Sunday
school
for
children,
evangelical
readings
for
adults,
a
men's
club
and
a
temperance
society.
Free
clubs
for
children
and
adults
are
organized.
A
comprehensive
primary
school
will
also
be
opened
this
year.
There
are
many
charitable
projects
in
the
temple.
This
is
assistance
to
the
disabled,
large
and
single
mothers,
as
well
as
others
in
need.
My
family
and
I
love
this
temple,
the
services,
the
sermons
and
the
ringing
of
the
bells.
