It's a small budget place on a hill Location well maintained and looks nice. We booked a family chalet. Design is woody and nice. But it's very compact. Not enough space to run freely. I believe that's because of the location. Bathroom is divided as shower and toilets If you are around 6 ft it's a struggle to turn inside. That's the only problem I had in the whole stay. Service is very good Food is good. Pool is nice and clean. AC is working properly Had a small balcony. 2 TV's . A microwave. Also one more thing, there's a huge steep to the location. Be aware of that. Staff will help you on that.

Not recommended...Bad food and bad place...waste of money and time...They have very strange rules like if there is a stain on the bed sheet we have to pay money for the bed sheet and that bed sheet has to be brought by us... 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

house keeping came before check out to clean the room and they even let the next guest to come and inspect our private garden before check out time. it's not very private as they advertise.

Everything was good. The rooms were great. Staff was friendly. Food was amazing. Didn't have WiFi though. Also, amazing prices 😍. It was an amazing places. Great view too. 100% recommended.

It's very clean and beautiful . Swimming pool had clear blue water. We had dinner and breakfast . Meals are very tasty. It's wonderful and memorable hotel 😃👍

The staff (Ranjith) was good.But we were supposed to check out by 11am ..prior to that in the morning (by 9 30am)There was a call saying it's from shashilka management ..whether we could check-out before 11 coz the next check-in customer needs to come early..Despite there was no bookings (we checked whether any bookings done) still they bluffed by saying it..was very disappointed by that..

Our stay at Shashilka Le Chalet was a wonderful experience. The rooms were clean and tidy, and was well equipped to fulfill all our needs. The pool area is well maintained, and is a perfect spot for relaxing and having a swim. The service provided from the staff is exceptional, as they were always one call away. Overall, a highly recommended place for family and trips with friends.

Shashilka Le Chalet was a perfect choice for our family vacation. We enjoyed the hospitality, the cuisine, and the cleanliness of the place. The rooms were cozy and had a beautiful view of the hills. The chalet was situated in a serene and tranquil setting, where we could relax and unwind. One of the highlights of our stay was the outdoor swimming pool, which was well-maintained and had a nice temperature. The kids loved playing in the pool and we enjoyed the mountain views from the poolside. The rates were affordable and fair. I do not recommend this place in any way. All forms of freedom are blocked. No experience in a free environment. There is no resting place. There is a feeling of being trapped. There is no value in paying and the video has created an illusion.

We had a two days stay. It was fabulous. The room arrangement nice and well cleaned. The food was delicious and also the service staff were friendly.(whole day playing music was un necessary and wifi was n/a) Highly recommend for honeymooners and family, group gatherings.

The best food I have ever tasted in Sri Lanka was at this hotel. The presentation and the taste was so amazing. The cabana is designed well with wooden furnitures. The hotel is clean and beautiful. The room was huge and comfortable. The cabanas are cool at the night. The scene of mountain is breathtaking. I would recommend this place to anyone. Hope to visit again.

Super place super staff excellent

Lovely place, the gounds and pool was well kept. The rooms were clean and neat and the staff was very welcoming and attentive.

The place was nice and comfortable. The surrounding was very calm. The rooms were not big but it had enough space and was comfortable. We ordered breakfast. The food was good and tasty. only minor errors to mention, the AC remote in one room wasn’t working and also the electric jug wasn’t working. Other than that overall it was a good stay, and we are very satisfied with the place.

It can be described as a very clean and beautiful place. The swimming pool is very good and clean . We had dinner and breakfast which was very delicious. It can be presented as a place that provides maximum entertainment for the money. But it must be said that there should be a cordial address. It's not that much of a drawback when taken with this place, but it stood out to us with other things here. Another problem is the entrance road. It was also not a big problem because of the vehicle we used.

Beautiful and comfortable rooms and very clean! The location is scenic and conveniently located. The staff is friendly and welcoming. The rooms are built with a good interior concept like wooden cabins and has the all necessary amenities. Good place to relax and is good to access locations in Matale and even Hunas falls.

We had an amazing relaxing time at this wonderful place... the staff accepts visitors accordingly with sanitroy precautions that we felt at ease immedietly.. the location and the concept is beautifully furnished wooden cottages with lovely view of the surrounding mountains and ofcourse their lovely garden..the staff is kind friendly and helpfull , we stuck to rice and curries as the food was so delicious too..we enjoyed the peace and quiet with utmost freedom. Thank you for boosting our enegrgy with your kind care...highly recomend and hope to visit you again..
