Underwhelming experience. Poor customer service which started at the reception. The room was rather small with poor illumination. The air conditioning did not work throughout my stay. No telephone in the room, so each time I needed assistance I had to go down 2 flights of stairs to the reception. The bathroom was a shower system that did not work. The worst bit was the continual noise along the corridors by young boys and girls that usually spill over from the adjoining night spot and bar also owned by the same person. Overall I'd give this place a miss unless you like the chicken in a basket brigade or you have no option.

Nice building, big enough parking space to accommodate many cars, nice bar for relaxation. However, there are some issues with this hotel. My colleague and I got in by 3pm to get 2 rooms and there was power outage and they said they only put on their Generator by 4pm and we had to wait for almost an hour at the reception before they put on the generator. I opted to wait as there seems to be fewer options in Bayelsa and I was tired after the long travel down to Yenegoa. Again in the room I was checked into the Water Closet was not flushing and I had to fetch water to flush each time I use the toilet. I wonder what it will cost the management to fix this simple issue. No complimentary water in the room and no complimentary breakfast is served here.

THUMBS UP Accessible THUMBS DOWN Old bedsheets Mosquitoes WHY I CHOSE… My friend chose the hotel for me because it was close to his house. I had an extra day to spend in Yenagoa and I wanted to see my friends. RATES I uploaded a photo of the hotel rates. Check photos. HOTELS IN THE AREA I took a stroll around. There is no hotel around. There is Ayalla Hotel about 20 minutes walk away. I PAID… 15K. That was the lowest rate. No discount. I inspected the 18K room and didn’t see much difference except for bigger space. THE HOTEL…. The hotel seems pretty new (as at July 2023). Everywhere is clean. The hotel is fairly accessible. Lot’s of small neighbourhood supermarkets and restaurant on the same street. Keke (Tricycles) run through the street and you can hop on one from the gate. Things I didn’t like: The bedsheets had stains. For a new hotel, I found it strange. It looks like they took the bedsheets from an old hotel and moved it to this one. Secondly, there were mosquitoes even on the second floor. This is because of water logged empty plots nearby. Thirdly, power supply was not 24 hours. Therefore, for some unknown reason, water stopped flowing to the 2nd floor when there was no power. So, if you plan to be out on your business during the day and come back to sleep in the hotel, you will be fine. But, if you intend to spend the whole day in the hotel room, then you better pray NEPA (the general name for all Power Companies in Nigeria) in Yenagoa gives power supply during the day or else, you wont’ enjoy your stay. There will be no power and no water. (Except the hotel fixes whatever is the problem.) But, we all know that hotels that provide power 24 hours daily, DON’T have rooms of 15K. FOOD MATTERS… The hotel has a popular drinking joint by the side of the hotel. I think they have food there. But, if you walk to the left of the hotel for about 3 minutes, you will find a restaurant (on the right) that serves superb local food. I think the name was Kate’s Restaurant. I highly recommend a visit. CONCLUSION… Not bad for the price. Will probably stay there again.

Lovely karaoke night in a fun to be bar but rooms are not worth the amount, if theirs no light one will have to wait till evening 5 or 6pm before the generator is turned on

Nice food. Spacious parking lot. Staffs are shoddy and unprofessional (one of them threw a soap bar to me instead of handing it out). They will not act despite complaining about issues. Not sure I'll want to come back.

Their rooms are stuffy, congested even. Their toilet is only about 60% condusive for me. I wouldn't feel comfortable lodging a friend there. But their food is great though.

I enjoyed a night of comfort, peace and quiet their service was just superb
