A friend took me to blozzom’s bistro for a drink. Heard it was a cocktail place and I was excited about the drink. When we got there, it was raining but despite the rain, it looked cute on the outside with the green artificial carpet grass decor on the floor and leading stairs, stained glass windows and nice wooden door. I thought it was a small place but I was marvelled when I got inside. It has enough space to fit about 30 persons comfortably. They have sockets and work like areas so it’s okay to sit out and stay in a quiet area. They also have nice and comfortable chairs for friends hangout and would fit in nicely for pictures too... Their decorations are a bit too flowery and give out a garden themed wedding or party venue but it’s not that bad. They menu is very modest and affordable for all classes of people. I had Long Island and my friend had alcoholic chapman. Even though I was disappointed with the taste of the drinks, because they both tasted like sweetened custard syrup, I believe their other items (Salad And chops) would be interesting and taste good. There’s no parking space because it’s a street side area but it’s worth the time. I enjoyed the ambience and music.

Good food, exotic environment, makes you feel like you are in one of those big cities in Nigeria. I think it has the best grills and smoothies in Yenagoa and quite affordable too. Its definitely a place to visit. Oh it looks like a place to have lunch with that special someone *winks, I'll recommend the Bistro Special Rice and chicken😋😋 I do look forward to its expansion though.

To be honest, I took one look at the place and couldn't go in. It was dark, gloomy and uninviting from the entrance at first sight, not a good impression.

This is the only joint I've been too where the rice is soggy and there's a 2hr wait for food. My experience was terrible. They told me that my snails were ordered by someone else after the long wait. This bistro is expensive with low quality food.

My camera doesn't do justice to this platter. Everything on this plate is a treat! As a Southern girl though, I did crave some sort of peppery deep to go with the many things on the tray. Like the lobster (good alone, would have been better with a sauce), potatoes, chops etc. This was a takeout so I'm hoping that when you do dine-in, there's a sauce to relish all of this goodness.
