It's has a beautiful environment but aside it's looks it has very terrible service. No water supply, if you eventually get water it's coloured to the extent one would think it was orange juice. Power supply is trashy, hotel that expensive you end up turning of power by 9am in the morning. Food is of its lowest standard. The only good thing about the castle is it's staffs. I strongly do not recommend it for anyone not even my enemy.

This is the best spot I've visited in the entire Bayelsa State. The edifice which is situated within the Government House area of Yenagoa, lives up to it's Royal Castle name. It's newly built, well maintained, exquisite, serene, beautiful and like looks a royal palace. There landscaping and beautifully designed water bodies and park will give you the semblance of Paris. I strongly recommend this hotel.

This is an elite 4 star hotel . If you can gain access into the government house then you should go there and chill at their VIP lounge. The ambiance is beautiful and exquisite. Lovely spot to spoil yourself.

Unfortunately my 20 day stay went from livable to just unbearable. The Castle needs mayor renovation. The garden are bushy. The staff are friendly and helpful. But they have limited resources. The menu in the rooms are NOT valid anymore. At breakfast time you will ask for a English breakfast (sorry sir we do not have eggs or bacon nor bake beans. And the best sorry we do not have bread). At dinner time you have a option between rice, or pasta with fish or chicken or goat meat. For 20 days that was the dinner menu. Its unbelievable how a place like this don't have anything in stock. You ask for a soft drink and the answer will be sorry sir. Only the last week i could get a soft drink. I do not believe Royal Tulip Castle, Yenagoa will see me again. It is highly not recommended.

My experience was great, calm environment with a great view. They only permitted 2 to a room, I have no opinions on their meals because I didn't have any. Generally it was a good experience.

Much thought for class was put into the construction of this edifice, which I applaud. But, the menu is really lacking!!! I couldn't order a basic stir fry 😩 I won't lie, I'm disappointed!!! Every good hotel, should have a proper menu to match.

The Castle Hotel is an old English style building with magnificent features. It is elaborate in every way. Managed my Golden Tulip, the hotel has a gulf course, tennis court and a polo Club bordering on its fence. This is a luxurious lodgings for the rich really.

A splendid place to be. The location is however a problem as getting Bolt from the place is herculean. Normal taxis don't even exist within the environment. Ensure you have your car ready before going there. The television channels are very poor as only two channels can be accessed. The Management needs to do better getting more channels working on their TV.

Exclusivity, serenity, luxury, security, peace of mind...perfect hiding place. Situated at the government house - the unique fish pond hangout area, the caves and VIP lounge. OMG ... Their food kept me coming back for more. #jpcolumbus
