Another wonderful spot in Yogjakarta. This palace exists out of many buildings and each of it has it's own beauty. Here you can learn a lot of things about Indonesian history and how the state works.

It's Pakualam house that opened for tourist. Good vibe, so many historical stories to learn. Unfortunately the parking area is little bit dusty on dry season. Water it frequently would be good.

Very curious about this Museum Pakualaman. Unfortunately this area is temporarily closed to the public, due to renovations. If the renovation is complete I will come back 😁

I've stayed in Jogja for 4 years before but never been in this place. So yesterday I came here and an Abdi Dalem guided me and explained about the history of Yogyakarta and Puro Pakualaman itself. This is one good historical place to visit in Jogja, not as big as and less crowded than Kraton Yogyakarta. You also can ask for guidance if you want to know more about the history.

Pakualam Palace is the place of Pakualam's residence. this palace is also known as a museum. The Pakualam Palace building looks like a blend of European and Javanese culture with wood and carvings. unfortunately in january 2022 this place is still closed due to renovation.

This is second time i've been here. First for the wedding of the oldest son and recently for the wedding of the youngest son. The later were more merrier, from the prep until the last reception last for 4 days. That was great...

👍👍 The old buildings, the street and the attraction is really something. The vibes of surrounding are giving another sense of Jogja at the old times. Walking a bit, you'll find Keraton which is the king's palace and also the famous Malioboro street. Evening to the night time is a perfect timing here.
