Awesome grilled izakaya food in landmark plaza. Loved the grilled hokke and appetizers. Highly recommended

I’ve been going here since I moved to Yokohama. It’s one of my favorite restaurants. It’s a great place to go with friends to enjoy tapas. There is a good list of sake. My favorite thing is the “appetizer” which consists of a bunch of super delicious fresh veggies with anchovy sauce. The tomatoes are always so delicious - some of the best I’ve ever tasted. I love the chicken meatballs and grilled asparagus. The grilled mackerel is so delicious and a favorite of all of the guests I bring here. Forgot to take a picture of the appetizer - it was gone before we remembered. It’s rare around here to find places that have fresh veggies!

My favorite izakaya in Yokohama

I recently dined at Nakame no Teppen, nestled within the iconic landmark Tower. The service was impressively prompt and exuded a warm friendliness that added to the overall dining experience. Our culinary adventure led us to explore a delightful range of grilled meats and seafood as well as fresh vegetables, and sashimi. The dishes were meticulously prepared, showcasing the skill of the chefs and attention to detail. Each bite was a burst of flavors that left us thoroughly satisfied. To complement our meal, we indulged in an array of sake, which perfectly complemented the delectable fare. Nakame no Teppen undoubtedly delivered a memorable evening of exceptional cuisine and impeccable service.

Authentic dishes in good atmosphere. Really good food.

Excellent meal only 3 types of set meals. Extremely good value for money if you are coming from Singapore. Cod set for $10 for 2 large pieces with delicious homemade mayonnaise. It also comes with clam miso soup. Total of 3 different meal sets plus beer and a side dish is abt SGD $37. We actually followed other reviewers and wanted the sashimi but they don’t sell it anymore . Dinner menu is more extensive.

One of my favorite restaurants in Minatomirai and a must eat whenever I come through town. There are many great options on the menu so it's best to go as a group and share. The staff are what really make this place shine, always nearby and make you feel welcome.

Has a very intimate feeling as though you know the servers and the chefs. The food was really tasty. It was my first time going there and I was not disappointed.

Nice place with decent food. Had an "appetizer" 600 yen per person, which is served regardless if you order it or not. Kind of a cover charge. Also, must order at least 1 drink per person.
