Yokohama Nanbu Market is an excellent place to experience the vibrant food culture of Japan. The outdoor market is located in the heart of the city and offers an extensive selection of fresh fruits and vegetables. Even though I visited on a rainy day and had to park my bike outside, I was impressed by the energy and variety of the market. The produce was exceptionally fresh and well-priced, and the market was bustling with vendors and shoppers alike. One of my favorite things about Yokohama Nanbu Market was the availability of local specialties like strawberries and avocados. The strawberries were plump, sweet, and juicy, while the avocados were perfectly ripe and creamy. I also appreciated the range of other produce on offer, including leafy greens, root vegetables, and fresh herbs. Aside from the fresh produce, there were also vendors selling handmade crafts and traditional Japanese snacks. The atmosphere was lively and welcoming, and I enjoyed chatting with vendors and other shoppers. Overall, I highly recommend visiting Yokohama Nanbu Market for anyone interested in discovering the flavors and culture of Japan. Despite the outdoor parking and rainy weather, the market was an unforgettable experience, and I left with a basket full of fresh produce and happy memories.

This place has a nice market feel to it but with a good selection of eateries and every day shopping. There's a nice big grassy area in the back to hang out and watch the boats in the harbor. I really want to come back and try the bbq area out

Cheap prices for grocery shopping at Ave. There are some restaurants and a few concession stands to eat at. Nojima and a Docomo shop are also there.

If you need to buy groceries near Yokohama, then BRANCH is the place for you. There are different grocery stores available, such as Ave, as well as a public market with fresh vegetables/seafood! We came later in the day, so I would recommend coming here in the morning when all the shops still have an abundance of food. There are also a handful of different restaurants here if you get hungry while grocery shopping. There is a rooftop deck for you to relax while your kids play. There are also a few dollar-type stores here, too. Overall, it was fun to explore, but I probably won't be back because I don't live close by/not worth the 40-minute drive.

Huge selection of stores, mostly grocery, to choose from. Snack bars and restaurants are sprinkled throughout. It's great for browsing and shopping.

What a great place for shopping! Bunches of stores with some incredible pricing. You'll want to get there early. Seems the parking is free for now but there are parking gates installed so it can be changed at any time. Also, the parking lot isn't the easiest to drive around. Some of the events that happen there are a lot of fun. For example, the Brazilian dancing. Most stores open at 10 but some as early as 9, check the webpage for details. Loved the fruit & vegetable store as well as the supermarket.
