進駐軍の接収により社地を奪われておりましたが、接収解除による米軍住宅地返還でこの地へ移転後、初めての参詣です。是非お詣りしたいと思っていた処、希望がかないました。御祭神は大日霊女命（おおひるめのみこと）＝天照大神です。お詣りの後に社務所にて御朱印帳と御朱印を授かりました。御朱印帳は鮮やかな水色でたいへん気に入っております。その際、いただいたパンフレットにお馬流しと御神徳が詳しく書かれておりました。

本牧住宅街を入り、小高い山に鎮座する本牧神社。銅板屋根見事な八幡造に出雲大社を彷彿とさせる立派な注連縄、本殿の千木の美しさは神威高く、参拝によって気持ちが改まります。神明鳥居が金属製なのもコントラストが良いです。雨だったこともあり、本当に静かで、落ち着きのある場所。景色もよくハイキングにもよいと思います。足の悪い方は、駐車場用の坂道はありますが、かなり急なので、バスで来ても登るのは苦戦します。車で来れば拝殿横の駐車スペース（お犬様のお休み場？）に車停められるし、拝殿に向けてスロープもありますし、拝殿横が社務所です。境内はコンクリなので動きやすいですから、ぜひ車でお越しください。御朱印帳、御朱印が充実していて、本日は夏の御朱印、菊名神社とのコラボ御朱印などもあり、全て手書き(カラーはシートを乗せてくれます）で丁寧に頂戴できます！

平日…御参りへ訪問 駐車場から本殿までが意外と近いです 神社の成り立ちより本来の場所より移された事が分かりました 印象的なのは、しめ縄の太さですね！ それと、鳥居から見る神社前公園の緑が綺麗です

お天気が良くあたたかな陽射しに包まれながら参拝させていただきました。良縁成就、宇氣の稲荷社 天照大神様ありがとうございました。 駐車場大きくは無いですが利用出来ます。 目の前の空間ある公園が風の流れが良いような気がします。

山頂公園下の神社です。散歩コースにはちょうどよく、この界隈は桜が綺麗ですね。 今回はもう散り気味でしたが。
