Prices
are
sky
rocketing,
and
this
company
is
making
record
profits.
while
the
rest
of
us
suffer.
I
wanted
to
make
a
birthday
dessert
for
my
mom
(her
favorite)
and
ventured
to
the
superstore
(this
is
where
i
usually
buy
all
of
my
groceries)
to
get
mascarpone
which
is
the
main
ingredient.
on
the
shelf
the
price
was
17.99
for
a
475
g
tub,
which
is
crazy
expensive!
like
really,
it
was
around
the
9-11$
less
than
a
year
ago
(and
don't
talk
to
em
about
inflation,
RECORD
PROFITS!).
then,
at
the
cash,
they
price
is
suddenly
18.99,
that's
right
19$!!!!
and
its
not
even
made
in
Italy
or
anything,
make
it
make
sense?!
then
at
home
i
was
curious
and
googled
prices,
same
item
is
13$
at
Walmart,
14.5$
at
Sobeys.
still
pretty
pricey,
but
damn
a
whopping
19
at
Atlantic.
will
def
be
taking
my
business'
elsewhere
moving
forward.
