These folks are incredible! Always super friendly and always available for questions and they have a very wide selection of both supplies and models alike. Highly recommend them if you're ever in town. Parking can be tricky but theres a little public parking lot just around the corner (would run along the back of those shops) not too bad of a walk

Omg, what can I say about this place except they ROCK! Best little hobby shop around! I drive an hour to get here both ways, and I'd happily drive further for the great service and amazing service!

I just got into Gunpla this year and was recommended to check out Model Cave, and I’m so glad I did. At first, the shop can feel a little overwhelming with all the kits on display, but once you start browsing, you might find yourself happily piling boxes into your arms. The owners are incredibly kind and supportive. They even go the extra mile by taking down your name and number to let you know when specific models you’re looking for are back in stock. It’s about a 30-minute drive for me, but it’s always worth the trip. Whether you’re new to Gunpla or a seasoned builder, I highly recommend checking out Model Cave.

Wow wow wow wow wow. Simply the best store I’ve been to when it comes to modeling and hobbies in the area. I was able to delete my online shopping cart, which I had reluctantly filled after not being able to find supplies and tools locally. The tag team duo behind the counter is simply splendid. Unfortunately nowadays, I feel like walking into most hobby & gaming stores I find employees unable to answer my questions, unwilling to quickly tell me that they are not sure of the answer, and jaded by the products & people that occupy the space….not here. Customers were greeted by name, and thanked because they had a recommendation that was well received. I was told everything I needed to know and more, and handed affordable options instead of (sometimes overpriced) name brand items. The best selection of models and tools I’ve seen in the area, easily finding stuff I was told was impossible to obtain by my (now previous) hobby store. My only complaint is that Model Cave too good, my wallet is doomed, and I’ll simply HAVE to drive up from Toledo to get my injected molded crack. I’ll see you next week 😂.

A shockingly huge selection of kits and tools for the size of the store. The folks that run it are extremely kind and knowledgeable. They sometimes have kits (even recent, high quality ones) for lower than retail price. My absolute favorite shop in the area.

The owners are both very nice! They have a wide selection of paint, primers, and top coat from many different brands. The owner’s wife saw me struggling to hold some paints, so she handed me a small box to carry them with. When I checked out, the owner was also very nice and noticed I was buying the wrong type of primer and recommended me to buy the right kind for what I wanted to do. They have a wide selection of gunpla model kits, you’ll be sure to find one you like. The drive there saved me more money than the shipping would’ve cost if I ordered supplies online.

If you are a model builder do not even think of visiting another shop. ModelCave is one of the most well stocked model making shops I’ve ever visited. If you like building kits; they have seemingly everything in production. If you prefer building from scratch they have all the tools and materials for your project. If you just like painting figures they have multiple paint racks that stock the basics all the way to advanced effect paints. ModeCave has absolutely everything you will ever need. The staff are incredibly helpful, friendly and a joy to visit with. No matter your skill level they have advice and materials that WILL make you a better model builder. Go to ModelCave you will not regret it.
