Mildly disappointing for me, personally. Food was ok, service was swift to an extent, atmosphere was decent, although the door was left open which made it a bit too cold inside... We came on a Saturday evening with no reservations, as they don't take reservations. Service was warm, welcoming and swift at the start up until the orders were taken. After that, we waited for quite a while (30+ min) for our orders to arrive, which is understandable given how busy they were with takeaway orders. Furthermore, the door was open, albeit we sat further inside, but we could still feel the draft and the crisp cold air waltzing in, so after a bit of time (15 min), i had to put my coat back on. When the burgers arrived, they were a bit sloppy-looking in that the salad leaves were drenched in sauce and were trailing off the burgers. My burger was drenched in sauce and I couldn't taste anything else but the sauce. The patty itself was great however. It was crispy and well-seasoned, so I just ate that... The fries at the top were also drenched in a thick layer of sauce and that was also overwhelming... The onion rings were decent at least. This was also when i realized that we could have chosen which cheese we wanted as stated on the menu (normal cheese or vegan cheese), but we were not asked when our orders were taken so we also forgot about it... Regardless, my partner's burger was very good, according to him. He tried my burger and he also agreed it was too overwhelming with the copious amount of sauce. Overall, food was mediocre at worst and decent at best. For the price, it is fine. Service was warm throughout, but quite delayed. Atmosphere was good, with candles flickering creating a warm welcome, but the temperature itself does not reflect this as well as i would like...

Very good vegan burger place. Food was delicious and the staff was extremely helpful, bringing us small test portions of their sauces (which are all good). Only thing I’d potentially enhance - I found the fried to be too salty but that might be personal preference.

Loved it! You don’t need real meat once you try those burgers!! And homemade fries are next level! Also super friendly! Well, ticks all the boxes! 🙂

As a burger and meat lover I must say I loved this burger. It had a very unique and tasty flavor that didn’t just taste like grains trying to imitate a beef burger. The whole burger together was really amazing. The bun was nothing like we can get in the States. Don’t worry that it’s meatless. Just go and enjoy something truly remarkable. Wish we had it here.

Great find in Amsterdam. Delicious veggie burgers and crispy fries. Staff were friendly and there is space to sit outside and enjoy the evening sunshine.

As far as vegan burgers go, these burgers really hit your tastebuds differently! I knew the burgers would be special after hearing the time (years) the team invested in curating the perfect tasting vegan burger. I was not left disappointed - the Holger Burger had a concoction of complementing flavours to go with the texture and taste of the burger patty - I thoroughly enjoyed it! It was also nice to see the owners tirelessly making themselves available to each customer conversing making sure everything was to their liking and taking on feedback. The quality of food, service and attention to detail really makes BJÖRNBURGERS an honest and wholesome restaurant. As a flexitarian who is partial to a meaty burger or two - I’d definitely be returning!

For meatless it tastes pretty good but other than that its pretty ordinary. If you eat meat, you will find this average

One of the best burgers I've had ever I think - taste was incredible and nice to have a purely veggie menu so not just the usual one option to choose from. I had the Bjorn burger and I highly recommend.

I heard that they're doing a Vegan Tacos Pop-up every Tuesday starting 7th November for the entire month!!!! Can't wait to try Seb's Tacos and discover this vegan spot!!!!

Tried many but this one of the best burgers in town, served in simple but catchy style, crispy and juicy, and all vegan!! Customer service 5/5. Went there with mom, as she never tried vegan, she loved it!

This place has been our nr.1 in Amsterdam for a while now. The food is always superb! However, if it is advertised that on Wednesdays there is a burger+beer promotion for 10€ and we go there on a Wednesday to have dinner, I would not expect to charge us the normal price. The server told us that its only applicable if you mention it beforehand... Interestingly we have been to the place on Wednesdays before and got our burgers for the promotion price without mentioning strictly that we want out food for that price. Really not professional and fair!!

Very very good. I didn't even realize it was meatless to be honest, I just wanted a big fat tasty burger and man, tasty it was. The side salad is also very good, not like one of those greasy side salads you usually get in burger places. Thank you Björn.

Really nice place for burgers, even when you're not vegan. Great standard burger options, but for those who can't choose you can decide to build your own. Staff was lovely both times I went and prices are more than fair.

Delicious! We SUPER enjoyed our dinner, as well as the amazing food! the staff was super friendly, the place is decorated really nicely and has a nice atmosphere, and the spicy burger was absolutely great! We'll be coming back again soon!

Dinner was great! Maybe even the best burgers in Amsterdam and they’re vegan! We were helped by nice and helpful staff and enjoyed a really nice part of Amsterdam. Would definitely come back for an delicious burger or loaded fries.
