Nice and quiet beach with free parking. You have to walk a 15 minutes though from the parking lot. Bikers can get closer. No beach restaurants, but that makes it less busy.

Its a lovely beach, I enjoyed walking there almost at any weather. Always windy though, highly recommended wearing a hat and shades at all times, because of the sand flying around at high speed ;-)

Nice nature park and place to take a walk, bike. close to beach. Avoid taking kids trolly to the beach as you can't pull it on sand.

Beautiful place

During out two week August vacation near Noordwijk we found ourselves walking down to the beach via Afrit 22 quite often. We parked either on the road at Northgodreef (fee payable) or Duinweg (free) & then walked through the woody dunes to Afrit 22. The charm for us is this whole area is dog friendly and Bero, our trusty Hovawart dog could run around, off the lead, to his hearts content and meet other dogs. Down on the beach you have miles and miles of lovely soft, pristine clean sand bordering the bracing North Sea. And, again, a dream place for energetic dogs!
