Truly amazing thai restaurant in Amsterdam. The staff is super friendly and extremely fast in service. The food looked and tasted mouthwatering, with plenty options to choose from. This place is typically busy, so don’t forget to book your table in advance! Best of luck to the owners.

This is my favorite Thai restaurant so far. We ordered 3 dishes; pad Thai, papaya salad and massaman curry, loved all of them! Good quality of food, authentic flavor and nice staff. I would recommend! Please make a reservation otherwise it may not be easy to get a table.

This was one of the best restaurant experiences of my life. My friends and I walked in off the streets into this cozy family restaurant. The staff are amazing! Warm, helpful, and funny. That would have been awesome in itself... and then the food came. Honestly, I don't think there's a single average dish on the menu. We shared 5 different dishes across 2 days and couldn't make up our mind as to which was best. If you're reading this please make sure to visit this restaurant. I don't think food delivery services would do the experience justice.

Second time here. What a jam! Great food, real Thai food and not the sugary stuff most "Thai" restaurants in Europe usually serve. The service is also aceptional.

This was a very nice restaurant and the only place during my visit in Amsterdam during COVID that had tables separated by plastic and where our temperature was taken. Apparently anyone with a body temperature of 37.4° and higher is asked to leave. The food was ok. I personally didn’t feel well after we ate, as everything was very greasy and too spic for my taste. The staff was very friendly.

This was the best Thai food I have ever eaten in my life. The taste of the dishes we had was superb yes, but the service took it to another level. We felt cozy and very well taken care of. What makes this place special is that it is a family run restaurant, where each members truly cares. The ingredients were fresh, the taste delicious, the service attentive and the atmosphere cosy. What else would anyone want? Definitely give it a try and be open to trying their recommendations. You’ll be surprised in a good way.

Krua Thai is an outstanding authentic Thai restaurant in Amsterdam. The welcoming staff create a friendly atmosphere, and the Massaman Curry, Chicken Satay and Mango Sticky Rice are must-try dishes. An excellent dining choice for a true Thai culinary experience.

I have had different kinds of meals across many restaurants and the dishes I had at Krua Thai compete to be one of the very best. The staff are friendly and the dishes made my taste buds come alive! I Strongly recommend this place. The ambience is good and cozy, the personell very very friendly and the food is simply amazing. I never have had such good thom ka gai soup, with a lot of tender chicken. The pad thai was also great and the vegetarian yellow curry too. Would absolutely visit again.

The food was really high quality (the mango sticky rice was absolutely delicious) and the location is also very central. The service instead was good but a bit too “pushy” (at the end they asked us how much we wanted to tip but that’s extremely uncommon in the Netherlands and made us feel a bit uncomfortable). You would have to pay for tap water and rice as well. I asked for spicy sauce 3 times but at the end I received only dry chili flakes. Also, charging 0.50€ extra for bringing the food we already paid home seemed also a bit off. Despite all of this, it’s a spot that I would recommend but beware of the service.

it has been a while since i ate here for the first time with my friends. i remember that the waitress who was thai was very kind to us to help us which dishes to choose and as a result we tried many unfamiliar thai dishes :)) i was not a fan of the peppermint wraps personally but it’s so different from what i usually eat so you have to try it! thank you for the good recommendations & service!

Very nice, friendly and attentive service. The quality of the food was outstanding - finally a Thai restaurant with decent spiciness to the meal, receiving seperate chilli's upon request. We walked-in spontaneously and had no issue getting a table without wait times. We will definitely come back and can only recommend it! Also, we highly recommend trying out tue traditional Thai appetizer - it was just amazing! 😍

I am happy to come back for the food and the service. Staff was welcoming, our waitress was the most attentive person in the whole country, and the food was delicious! (I recommend to try Pad Thai here.) This place is now my personal winner in the category “Best service in the NL”.

Amazing food. Amazing service. The chef was a super nice guy who made the experience 10 times better. From the moment you enter you get transported to Thailand. The Tom yum was good. The pad thai was sensational. The penang beef was good. The beef with basils and Chilli was epic. The massaman curry was a but disappointing the chicken in it looked a bit off. One of or maybe the best meal I had in Amsterdam. Best part it was halal.

Stumbled across this place after landing and it was such a great choice! Came in for dinner and the place was packed! Service could not be better! The staff were incredibly friendly and the server even recommended some places to visit during our stay! Food was flavorful and very tasty!

Very authentic food using superb ingredients. For example, the jasmine rice used was of a very high quality. Excellent service staff from Thailand who were very attentive and friendly! We came back a second time. Didn't take photos of all the dishes we ordered and only realised it after we had finished the food. Do visit if you are craving delicious food exploding with flavors!

As a student in Amsterdam, I tried so many restaurants all around the city. Honestly, Krua Thai is one of the very best restaurants that I have tried in this city. Supremely authentic and delicious Thai food, very kind personnel and great environment. I already went there 3 times, but I already cannot wait for the next. Simply amazing.

Nice experience. The team is enthusiastic and will warmly greet you in the restaurant. The dishes are so fine ! Good quality and well cooked for sure. Talking about the prices, I am a little bit concerned because of the other reviews and people are complaining about the prices… well if you compare to Amsterdam prices, the price is just correct, not too high, not too low. We ate three entrees to share, and two main dishes. Three beers, and a bottle of water. Final price 90€. Which is completely fine. Some people here expect to eat good food at nice places for free… I would recommend. I just took one star because we didn’t get some shots with the staff 😂 4/5 ⭐️

I came here with friends last week. The staff create a great atmosphere, very friendly and full of smiles even with a full restaurant. The food was very tastey and they do an amazing fried banana dessert!

This place was amazing! I would definitely go back and would highly recommend it. We ordered the green chicken curry, massaman curry and mango sticky rice. All were wonderful dishes. On top of the delicious food the service was impeccable from every staff member that we interacted with.

A delightful Thai restaurant where simplicity meets authenticity. The restaurant is clean, which distinguishes it from many other Asian places in Amsterdam. The staff are friendly and helpful. We came right before closing time, so there were free tables, but during peak hours I recommend booking a table in advance. The dishes may seem unassuming, but the flavors are extraordinary. The Lab Kai dish in particular was a real delight. And the desserts - the sweet sticky rice with mango was a sweet surprise even for my husband, who usually doesn't like anything sweet. If you want to try authentic Thai cuisine, in a clean place without chic, but with soul - I recommend it.

Really very friendly service, and a large menu- but very few vegetarian options in comparison, and the pad Thai & tofu curry I ordered was just ok, not great. Go & enjoy it, though! A table outside in the sun might be your reward!

Authentic Thai taste. Super friendly staff made us feel really welcome. The crispy chicken was delicious and super crispy. The prawns were big and incredibly tasty. Must try is the dessert, the mango sticky rice is superb. Loved this place.

Secret Tip: Small authentic Thai Restaurant in the heart of Amsterdam! The staff is very friendly and attentive. I would especially highlight the food, but also have to mention how serious the staff takes care of hygiene and corona rules. Besides, the facilities are very clean. Staff’s English is great. We went with two people on a Thursday evening after work. It was absolutely empty when we came, but filled up quickly after 7pm. I personally chose the 31., which are the King Prawns. They were absolutely delicious. As Dessert I had the Mango Sticky Rice, which was amazing, but with 9,50€ a little bit overpriced. As comparison, the fried banana my friend had was twice the portion and 3€ less. Anyways, the evening was great and I will come back for sure, soon! Cheers!

I was disappointed by the quality of the food. Uber Eats showed high ratings but for me it’s not good. I’ve had a lot of Thai food around the world but this was the first panaeng curry chicken without any sign of vegetables. And way too fat. The sate sauce was too sweet and tasted as oil.
