Came in the night to check in, receptionist made mistake in their system she check us in in different room (the welcome name on TV was somebody else's name). We didn't think weird because we were tired already. But later after we get comfy, in the middle of the night she rang our bell and telling us she had put us in different room and ask us to change room. It was sorted out somehow in the end, but still it is unpleasant experience. (She also calls several times before she came to our door, even the manager didn't do much). Parking alley is really narrow and difficult to manuever if you have long car. Also you have to pay for the tickets. So far place is okay, nothing to complain aside of the troubles i mention earlier. But we definitely will reconsider about staying here again. Sorry

Our stay at this hotel was very disappointing overall, even tough we booked the executive suite for high price. The bed was extremely uncomfortable, and the demeanor of the staff ranged from unfriendly to outright rude. Despite multiple requests for feather-free rooms prior to our arrival, our needs were not accommodated. Additionally, the bathroom was uncomfortably cold and impossible to warm up, despite assurances from the staff that this was normal, which we found to be inaccurate. Furthermore, we experienced issues with a lost item in our room. Although the staff agreed to ship it to us, the item never arrived, and our attempts to communicate with them have been ignored on three separate occasions.

Very modern high quality hotel, rooms are spacious with a beautiful view. Personal is very friendly. Parking is quite expensive, but much cheaper options available around the corner. Definitely will come back.

Before booking called 2 times + mentioned in the booking regarding the importance of for feather free room - when we came the room was NOT feather free, and we waited for 40 minutes during the night for staff to come and change it. Also, we asked for complimentary birthday gesture while booking executive suite and they promised they will do it - it was also not done, and we had to ask 3 times for that, so that they could finally do it on the next day. The room was old and had signs of wear everywhere. The chocolate hour was not nice and consisted of a couple of small chocolate candies, that’s a pity as other Movenpick hotels have much nicer selection. On top of that it was very cold in the room and especially in the bathroom, very frustrating. Overall, the stay was okayish but for a 4 star hotel and the executive room you can get much better customer service, quality, and room condition. The staff was unfriendly and it felt like we are in a motel instead of a 4* hotel.

An incredible hotel in the heart of the city at a reasonable price. The room and facilities are simply wonderful: in my standard room, in addition to a hair dryer, a TV, an AC, and a coffee machine, there was even an iron and an ironing board. The hotel has a restaurant, gym, and underground parking. I also took advantage of the opportunity to rent a bike, and I note that it had quite high-quality components. I am sure you will be satisfied with your stay at this hotel.

I stayed at this hotel for 5 nights. The hotel is in a very nice area. Very close to shops and restaurants. Rooms were spacious and very nice. But the behaviour of staff was very poor and un professional. I tried to order dinner to my room, kept calling for minutes and no one attended the calls. I ended up ordering from out side. I asked Luna at the reception desk in the morning if I could do late check out she bluntly refused. I was given discounts cards at the check in to redeem it at the restaurant and bar, they refused to accept that at the reception. Spoke to the reception personnel if I could speak to the manager. Erica said that she is the manager and there is nothing they can do about it. The management should definitely re train the staff and teach them basic hospitality ethics. I do not recommend any one to stay for the poor behaviour of the staff.

Lack of precision as to small details, which are very big mistakes made during my stay. As a loyal customer of the chain (platinum status) I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. I am disappointed with most elements of my stay. if you are an Accor silver customer or higher, expect nothing more than a glass of wine as a welcome drink. The incompetent deputy reception manager stated that the status recognition is not effective in this hotel and that it is not possible to pay with loyalty points because the hotel has recently been part of the Accor chain. I plan to raise this issue with one of the area managers in Germany because when I was at the Movenpick hotel in Berlin no one was having a problem with paying with points. maybe the hotel staff needs additional training or official information that they have been officially in the Accor portfolio for some time?

My wife and I had a super 3 day stay in a very nice and clean room. We liked the whole hotel very much from the location, the equipment and the service. Especially the dinners in the restaurant were our highlights. Great varied menus with very good accompanying wines and excellent service. Are there any learning areas from ours? Yes, the location and size of the reception is too small when many guests arrive/depart. And the young colleagues at the reception do a professional job, could show a little more empathy in my view.

Amazing hotel, a real deal for a 4-star hotel. Central location, very clean and neat rooms, great breakfast. Everything looks new and high-quality. Great and welcoming staff.

Well above average staff, friendly helpful and efficient. Larger than average and well appointed rooms. Secure car park under the hotel but with a separate charge. Central position can seem daunting for car access due to convoluted, partially pedestrianised route but in reality it is only moments from main roads. Quiet location but only a short walk to the main attractions and shopping streets

We had an amazing stay in this hotel. The location, bed, shower and breakfast were all great. The staff is outstanding, so friendly and service-oriented. Special thanks to miss Kelly, what a gem!

Beautiful hotel with big rooms , good end enjoyable balcony (just know that there is no roof so it can rain on you) , Nespresso machine in the room + coffee and tea but most of all the service was simply great : helpful & friendly going out of their way to make us comfortable. To be more precise : Alba one of the manager made our stay perfect from Arrival until departure , also the night shift staff which was always with a smile (even at 3 am). We will be back in this hotel next time we go to Den Haag for sure. Thank you

Lovely hotel, high ceilings, and a luxuriously designed bathroom! It may be officialy a 4* but for those who travel a lot, there can be a wide gap between 4* hotels. Mövenpick The Hague is definately one of those that are on the high end. Service and friendliness was impeccable! I can definitely recommend it and would stay there again.

We've spent three days at the Mövenpick hotel, I highly recommand you this place. The rooms were beautiful, the location was perfect, the parking's hotel was really large, you can easily park a Q7 type car. Special thanks to our waiter, Geraldo, he was really kind and funny.

MovenPick is really good hotel with very peaceful ambience . The lounge is so wonderful place to relax . I just loved my stay as I was here for 5 nights and 6 days . It’s well located close to corporate centres and has good places to shop with some decent restaurants near by.

Once I found a minor issue with an entertainment device, Antony (I hope to write properly), as soon as he realized he could fix it, he promptly offered me to switch a room after he checked the device was working. It's an expected result, but I praise the way he did it.

Hotel was understated and stylish, and so very very comfortable. Supremely comfortable beds, beautifully decorated rooms and one of the best bathrooms I have ever had in a hotel. Breakfast was wonderful, so much choice. The staff were all kind friendly and helpful. We can't wait to come back

The Movenpick is a small boutique hotel in the center of Den Haag, a kind of little gem hidden in a quiet street just a few steps from the famous Noordeinde Palace. The exterior of the building can mislead as the true beauty of the hotel is inside, once you get through its doors. Decorators made an excellent job. Rooms are bright and spacious, with modern and high quality furniture. The bathroom is superb too. Only CON was the baby coat, which did not have a mattress at all (therefore our little boy slept in the bed with us) Alba at the reception was great. Buses n. 22,24,28 bring you from the Central Station to (more or less) the hotel and vice versa. Please bear in mind that this is cashless hotel.

Absolutely phenomenal hotel 🔥 Very friendly staff. We had a very clean, spacious corner room with 4 huge windows (#116). The design totally awesome with a lot of thought to detail. You can regulate the mattress to make it softer or harder. The bedding is so soft that it feels like you are melting. Great sleep. I would stay here forever 😍 It's a very rare case when reality is better than the photos! Above expectations ✨️ Highly recommended 👌

The hotel is simply fantastic! I love the design and the style. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was spacious. The staff was friendly and attentive. We had some coffee at the bar in the morning and it was very high quality. Can't wait to go back for another stay!

Nice hotel with spacious rooms. The bathroom was very large and the walk-in, rainfall shower was a nice touch. Breakfast was nice. Reception staff and wine bar (restaurant) server were professional but NOT accommodating at all. Despite paying over 800 Euros for two rooms for two nights and informing the receptionist that it was our daughter’s 18th birthday, the hotel did absolutely nothing. The wine bar server was absent for 30 minutes as we waited to pay; she was serving in the restaurant (we had to go to the receptionist to ask for the server). When trying to pay during the checkout process for the wine dinks with the 5 Euro certificate (certificate received for the hotel not having to clean, make up our rooms, restock the coffee and tea, and for towels) the receptionist stated the certificate had to be used in the wine bar or the restaurant. I wanted to use the certificate to pay for the wine that we charged to our room because the server was never around. (Process improvement — teach your receptionist how to give a 5 Euro credit for any wine/food charges after the fact when presented a certificate and when the customer already paid 800 Euros.) Parking is ok, but very tight and more expensive than the local parking garages (when you reserve/pay ahead of time). Clean or replace the sofa in the rooms. Both rooms had sofas severely stained. Rooms were nice and then the stained couches made us less excited about the hotel rooms. Doors had to be slammed to lock. Be careful as the doors will not lock without slamming them. Would not stay again based on principle due to the hotel not doing ANYTHING for my daughter and for the non-chalant attitude of your front desk/receptionists.

We stayed in room 312 and enjoyed a nice view from the seats near the window. We both traveled a lot over the world and were very satisfied about this room. A lot of accessories are in this room , we were missing nothing. We also liked the colors and design of the room including the bathroom. There is a big TV screen, quality of the picture is perfect. It is obvious that this room was made keeping in mind user friendliness. We will be back again.

The hotel was very well located in a central and quiet place. The rooms were spacious, very well decorated, clean and quiet. We rented bikes at the hotel and the service was great. We booked one night but we liked it so much that we extended two nights more... It is a place to come back

Room design is nice. location is pristine. the only issue is we don't treated as ALL platinum member as we expected, which is extremely disappointing as we are a loyal member of accor. the reception staff needs some improvement in their service

Stayed there two times. Two totally different experiences as an Accor platinum member. While the first stay in summer 2020 was really nice (hotel quite new, friendly service, upgrade to junior suite, free chocolates on the room etc.), the second stay was a bit disappointing. First of all, as we were using a voucher from a previous Covid/lockdown-cancelation, the booking had to be made with the hotel directly and not via Accor. The e-mail response time was a bit slow. However, finally a reservation was made. The reservation e-mail said, the hotel would offer the same rate as with the previous booking. However, we didn’t receive any further documents and, after all, were charged a little bit more (voucher was deducted correctly though). Maybe because the rate included breakfast, although our e-mail asked for a reservation without breakfast -> recommend to insist on a formal confirmation or better use accor booking system if possible. The receptionist had no idea about the details of our reservation: according to her, she was just able to view the e-mail conversation. During check in, we were handed the accor welcome drink voucher and were notified that is just valid on the day of arrival (date hand-written on the voucher) – never experienced this at any accor hotel before. The room was nice, but no upgrade this time. Also no chocolates or any other status recognition. The standard king room is spacious though. So is the rest of the hotel premises, gym is fine too, but nothing special. Room service (burger for 22 Euro) is mediocre. Breakfast is ok, staff is a bit slow with restocking (just two ppl staff for a crowded breakfast room). Parking was 27,50 Euro a night, which seems normal for the area. At check out at 11:45h, we asked if we could use the parking for two more hours but were informed that the daily rate is just unit noon (not 24h). No idea, if we could have used the parking longer, if I had asked for a complementary late check out. Since accor platinum status seems not really worth much at the Movenpick anyway, we might try another accor or different chain hotel in the Hague next time. But don’t get me wrong, the hotel is totally ok (but closer to a good novotel/mercure than to a sofitel), and the location is perfect for a leisure weekend.

My husband and I stayed at your hotel April 26 and 27 as part of a Viking Group. All the staff were excellent. I want to give compliments to two exceptional employees. The first is Christina who was at the reception desk. She was very caring, polite, and friendly. She made sure our visit went well and was kind to make restaurant reservations. The second was the young lady who was working the restaurant and the bar late the evening of the 27th. I wanted to order a cosmo from the bar and she apologized profusely that she had not yet trained on cocktails. That was not a problem as my husband and I just ordered wine. When we were drinking our wine in the lobby with friends, she came over with the bottle and gave us a little extra pour as further apology she did not know how to make the cosmo. Her kindness was wonderful and she will be a very good employee

Let’s start with the positive aspects: modern and comfy rooms, great location to explore the city. Unfortunately the AC in our room wasn’t working properly and it was a quite hot weekend. The bigger issue though was the level of service of the staff. Once we made them aware and they inspected the room, nothing happened. They wanted to send a mechanic to fix it, but that never happened. Another downside was that there were no cups and towels in the gym (the gym itself was great with a good selection of modern equipment). If the issue would have been handled properly, this would be a 5 star rating. This is not what you expect for >160€ a night and as platinum member of Accor…

Modern hotel in the city center. Our room was spacious with a comfortable bed and a nice bathroom. It had a very big shower with a rain style shower head. The only small negative was that it did not have a tub. The staff at the front desk were very pleasant and helpful. The selection at breakfast was very good as well. Warm food with many additional items like yogurt, a variety of breads, many different pastries, fruits and juices. Top it all off with espresso, latte or coffee. The lady running the breakfast buffet was very helpful and attentive. You will not be disappointed here.

Signature hotel with an outstanding service, facilities and most important feeling at home being away from home. General manager can be seen while serving a breakfast with friendly conversation over your stay. We are family and had friends of ours coming from far away to enjoy sightseeing of Den Haag & the beach. Kids were happy with great ice cream & full breakfast in hotel. We were pleased with the comfort of the mattresses, pillows and location of our rooms next to each other. You will find this hidden gem just in the center of Den Haag, but in a very quiet surrounding. From front desk Marius, Chivato to the G.M.Dimitri, we would like to thank you for making our stay so relaxed and friendly. We will be back with Christmas! Groetjes van Catharina, Leonidas, Linar & Olessya & Beatrice!

Again chose this hotel as an overnight stay. This time for business purposes. The room I had was perfectly furnished to get some work done. There was a desk, internet was great and the room was really luxurious, clean and spacious. I had a very late checkin, but I was welcomed with a smile. I even got a free upgrade which was very nice. The early morning breakfast was also perfectly arranged with everything you desire. The staff was really kind. As a means of transport to my meeting in the morning I chose the hotel bicycle. If you want to feel dutch...do this :-) In short, if you have to be in The Hague for business purposes, then you should definitely choose this hotel. If you go there for fun then I would also choose it. Trust me, it's a great place.
