Love this place, they care about their customers, the team is really friendly, a great setup and we had our first lessons with Tom, a newer teacher there and he was awesome! We learned a lot in just one session alone and more to go. Perfect for beginners and more advanced. Already booked more sessions, everyone else speaks of this place with positivity so go get booking and surf 😁🏄

Great experience! We couldn’t have chosen a better place for our first lesson on kitesurfing. Really helpful on the phone and even better in person. The 3hrs session went really fast and we felt like progressing quite a lot thanks to our great instructor. The overall mood of the crew of the school, both before and after the lesson, were also exceptional. We will repeat!

Where do I even start? I guess by saying if you’re already reading this and therewith thinking of booking with kiteboardschool.nl…..Go and BOOK BOOK BOOK!!! ;-) In all seriousness - the past days were one of the best experiences I ever made! Everyone at kiteboardschool.nl just radiates positivity and will do everything they can to make you have some unforgettable days. Personally, I was lucky enough to get some lessons as a birthday present, but unfortunately when we were in Kijkduin for the week I wasn’t so lucky anymore as days of no wind turned into days of too much wind (for a beginner). STILL the team of kiteboardschool.nl found a way of making it happen and soon I was up and riding thanks to my amazing coaches Lex & Jasper - thank you BOTH for these great lessons, passing on your knowledge & your trust in me!! There was not a second I didn’t feel safe in your hands!! Can’t wait to be back SOON for more!

Terrible and costly experience. No support/no refund/not enough teachers I read a lot of good reviews about this school, but mine wasn’t positive in any way and very costly! I booked 3 classes and paid 270€ in 2016. I live 3 hrs away, so I can only take the weekends. When I booked my first class, I was told the night before that the wind was good. When I arrived in the morning, there was literally zero wind and the class was canceled without prior notification. Since I had booked classes on Saturday and Sunday i had to arrange overnight accommodations. All in all I spent another 200+€ without touching the water once. Since I couldn’t afford to spent so much money again I tried to book more short notice, when the wind was better. That didn’t work because the classes were always fully booked and not enough teachers. As i was very insecure about how to do this, I turned to the team for help but only got impractical tips, like „be patient“. I randomly booked some dates in the future but there never was wind. I got very frustrated and asked for help again but got the same answer „it’s a game of patience“. At that point however my classes had expired. So while I am supposed to be patient, I was pressured by an expiration deadline, something that feels extremely uncomfortable and is hypocritical. Not sure if it is different in NL but in GER expiration dates on vouchers are illegal. Generously I was offered an extention, so I booked a class again, but once again, no wind. Remember, every time I booked I had to prepare transport and accommodation and keep the weekend free. I can only afford that a few times during a season. At some point I had to acknowledge, that realistically I couldn’t get my classes any time soon. I contacted the team to ask for refund. I got turned down with reference to terms and conditions. So now I wasted around 500 € and literally got nothing. What is worst however is that I have the feeling like no one cares for me nor tried to help me. For me that doesn't go in line with the positve surf Image this Company represents to the outside. It's surfer captitalism ;-) In all honesty: I can in no way recommend this kiteschool. I tried talking to them and make them understand my situation, but got zero support. Terrible and costly experience.

I've been working here for the past 3 years now as a kiteboarding instructor and it has been the most amazing time. Awesome team which is constantly developing to make this school the best out there. The focus of my job has always been to get everybody stoked to be riding in a safe and progressive manner.

Amazing place to take a kite surf course. I took the 3-day course and now I’m ready to go by myself. Great gear and teachers! Also Kiteboardschool team super friendly to help on setting my wind app in the phone and advise me on what brands and gear to buy. Thanks for everything, definitely I recommend it

It was excellent! Our instructor, Marta, was really professional and fun. You get into the action right from the first lesson and if you're doing well they are teaching you more things which is pretty cool! Can't wait to do the second lesson!

Great introduction to kitesurfing through the 3-day intro course. Small groups, a lot of personal attention from awesome instructors, new gear and just a great vibe!

Professional, Clear communications and terms, Extra supporting resources, Outstanding customer service, Amazing team of teachers Hi all I am leaving a very positive review touching on the way the school operates, the teachers I have worked with and the gear available. Kiteboardschool.nl turned out to be a truly fantastic experience - from day 0. They are a transparent and honest school that operates in a clear and unambiguous manner. You can find all the information you need about how to prepare for the course prior to booking lessons which determined whether or not should I buy them since I lived 150 km away and had to travel on the weekends. With that at hand I had no trouble understanding how much in advance to book my lessons (weekends), find out what are the minimum conditions for a lesson and I could easily monitor the weather forecast myself as well with the aid of their quick links to several weather forecast websites. To further emphasise about the clear communication experience, they had a rapid response to my early morning e-mails and phone calls. One thing I recommend is to have at least 2 months to complete your course as the school advises. P.s. for more deals always check the Dutch version of the website. The staff is professional and friendly. No wonder I wanted to become part of the kiting community - truly awesome people. I worked so far with 2 teachers - Femke (Fem for short) and Tom. Fem is exceptional. I had my first beginner’s lesson with her and she was outstanding in handling the group of 3 people I was in. Everyone had enough time to practice. The most wonderful thing about Fem alongside her positive and enthusiastic approach is the fact that she will share with you her personal kiting experience and stories which will stick with you throughout the whole course and even after you are kiting with friends. That in my opinion speaks a lot about her outstanding teaching and kiting experience. Tom is the person who can get you through the most difficult part of the course for sure! He is ready go above and beyond for his students. His positive attitude - "You are going to do it! I know you can!", the infinite amount of energy even after chasing lost boards in the sea several times, running 7 hours up and down the beach without even slowing down, and his thorough and detailed approach while teaching got me on the board despite how discouraged and worried I was. But it was not only me but all 3 people in my group succeed by the end of the lesson! Thank you Tom - you are outstanding! The GEAR They have an extensive inventory of kiting gear and even a shop. For the lessons they use always new kites (being the ones from the latest year), excellent boards of various sizes, harnesses and control systems. They have a ton of wet suits so you are prone to find the size you need, as well as boots which are excellent for people with sensitive feet. Safety is a top priority so I really appreciated the comfortable life vest and helmets which are also provided. There is a changing room, a shower and possibility to wash your own wet suit if you bring one. A piece of advice: to the team Currently if anyone has missed something from previous lessons, the students informs their teacher right before the lessons and the teacher adapts the lesson to include that section (exercise). I do not know how this would work if there are multiple missed points for one student in the group but the other students have covered them or vice versa. It might be helpful to have access to an online progression card in order to ensure such situations do not happen or help plan a lesson or a group. I believe the school prioritises selecting the best wind conditions for ones level to ensure the optimal learning and riding experience. All in all, plan 2-3 month to be ready for great beach days, do not be afraid to book multiple lessons in one day (its great experience but also tiring so be prepared), bring your beach gear - swimsuit, towles and sunscrean. LETS GOO! THANKS KITEBOARDSCHOO.NL FOR THE BEST SUMMER DAYS I HAD IN 2020!

Felt safe the whole time, I have been kiting since 2008 and safety is the most important thing to me. I got a lesson to smooth out my turns and jumps. Maki was extremely knowledgeable.

Excellent kitesurf teachers with high quality gear. Within a couple of lessons I was able to stand on the board having learned all the necessary safety instructions. In addition, they have 'their own zandmotor' in front of the shop, which is neat. Therefore, I would definitely recommend them for your (first) lessons.

Very good kite experience. High quality of teaching to become independent, also you can get IKO certified here. I also bought my first kite equipment for a very reasonable price in the shop. Will always remember and come back

Great Kiteboardschool with a perfect location! I booked a 3 day course and loved it so much that a took more lessons after! My mum also took a class with 60 years and she also liked it so much and want to keep going! :) The teachers are so friendly and they definitely know how to adapt the training to the individual performance level! I was a beginner and thanks to this wonderful teachers I am now totally into kitesurfing! I can’t wait to come back 😊

I had a great experience with Boca Grandi kitesurfing school in The Hague. I got my certification and I was guided by great instructors. I have enjoyed a lot during the process and also with the lessons from Thom and the rest of the team. I highly recommend it if you want to start your kite surf journey.

We had no kitesurf experience and booked the 3-day introduction course. We had an amazing time, everyone was super friendly. Groups were kept small so everyone had the chance to practice under supervision. Lessons were schedulded according to the wind forecast, communication with the kiteboardschool was super easy. Highly recommended!
