Loved the whole combo of hummus with falafel and salads. It looks like a lot, but actually is very nice as for a balanced diet and proper meal. Great for sharing. The only thing, I have waited for more than 20 min for the order to come. Maybe all blame on a Saturday busy evening, because the food and place is very nice, this is just what happened to me. Overall, recommended place in Den Hague:)

Charming place with engaging service and nice food. The sabiche and hummus were great. The fried dishes (cauliflower and fries) were overly fried and bitter. The dishes are rather small, but affordable.

Really friendly but unfortunately incredibly slow service. The food was great but we had to wait for over 1 h while everyone else already had food and it wasn’t that busy. and they said they would bring some dishes first like a appetizer which then got lost in the kitchen. So everything’s arriving at once and the small tables are not really made for that. Still delicious but also quite pricey. Because you get some “sides” like the salad with every small dish you order you get a lot of the delicious cabbage salads but at some point I would prefer just having the small dishes.

Worth every bite ;) We had a wonderful, vegan, relaxed, tasteful, happy and full of exciting food time. Our favorites: Dolma, Hummus, Rose and Orange Lemonade, Arabic Coffee with Kardamom, Borek and Muhalabia. Make it a party for your taste buds. Staff was extremely nice as well! Tip generously ;)

We had an amazing time at HUmmUS. It almost felt as if we been there multiple times before: it felt warm and cozy. Our staff was very very accommodating and extremely friendly and patient. The food was amazing and rich in nutrition. The restaurant offers plenty of vegan and vegetarian options. There are also gluten-free options available, for example, a gluten-free pita bread. If you are visiting the Hague, please go there and have lunch or dinner (for dinner you should probably reserve a seat).

Very warm place as well as delicious food. Staff is very friendly. Portions are very good size. Lentil stew was so delicious with caramelized onions and tahini sauce. They also bring some vegan sauces with your plate they are very tasty as well. We also had flat bread with humus, fake minced meat and chickpeas. We would love to go back.

This place has to rely on their hummus and service. Ordered the shakshuka and liked it, though the portion size for the cost was a bit lacking. Also had the baba ganoush, which tasted like it had liquid smoke added. A rather unfortunate meal as the smoky taste overpowered everything. Ordered arabic coffee, which was a bit too sweet and definitely too small. A 100ml serving cost me 3.75 EUR. The service was great and the servers attentive and nice, the place was comfortable with smart seating choices and good atmosphere.

Friendly service, extremely delicious food, cozy atmosphere, and affordable prices. One of the best places in the Zeeheldenkwartier. We highly recommend the feta dip, the falafel, and -of course- the hummus. The fried cauliflower with tahini is wonderful as well.

I ordered a shared meal “ a bit of everything “ and the ratio between the price and the dishes that they offer is not justified. We had two basic dips, which compared to other restaurants offering these were not so tasty, one salad, potato fries which were the only good part, and a vegetable curry and an eggplant dish. Overall the food is generally tasteless, and for it being 18€ I expected more than 2 dips and 1 salad out of the dishes they chose to put in this menu. In addition we had to wait one hour for it to be prepared, which I don’t experience often regardless of the size of the restaurant and clientele present.

A solid place with tasty, healthy food at a reasonable price. Falafel salad was good, as was combo meal that includes 2 salads, hummus and pita. The sweet potatoes fries exceeded my expectation, with crunchness and full flavor Great, friendly service. Would definitely come back.

Healthy food. Had a wonderful time out with my friend. Perfect place for a good chat! It’s my 3rd or 4th time at HUmmUS and it’s been nice every time. Looking forward to the next time.

Quantity was very less for the price point. The Dolma starter was totally screwed with ketchup/tomato sauce. The hummus was not prepared in high quality olive oil. The herbs were not fresh.

Honestly amazing food. Didn’t even notice it was all vegan. Top tier food and would highly recommend to everyone. Portion sizes are also great, didn’t even have space for dessert. Will come back again to try the rest!

The food is amazing. You would think in the beginning you would have to eat in another place after but no. It was enough and it was delicious!

Food is good, but really not worth it due to the terrible service! Had to wait for about an hour for the food to come. This is not the problem, as we are all humans and anyone can make an honest mistake. However, the quality of service is determined how you act on it. There were many many things that went wrong and could have been handled better by them. The most annoying thing was that one of the waitresses was very defensive about our complaint. The entire time we were explaining the situation she had this overly fake smile and blinked her eyes 9000x per minute. She countered our complaint with an illogical explanation and I really have the feeling she was just trying to gaslight us. (I can explain in detail why, but I spare you that.) In the end, we just realised it was of no use to talk to a brick wall and we just ended the night and went home. Really a pity. The food is tasty, but service like this ruins the whole experience. Dining is also about the experience and this is just not it. I think having staff like this is really damaging to your business.

Great place! nice location, lovely service and the food is amazing! super fresh, delicious and every time you get the food the waiter/waitress explains you exactly what you just got which makes it even more professional as they know exactly what they serve. I love this place and highly recommend it

I went there with a friend and we ordered the sweet potatoes, the fried cauliflower and the flatbread pizza. The food was amazing and by the end of it we were feeling super satisifed. Also, the staff is super friendly. Everybody should go :)

Hummus is a small place/restaurant. They serve vegetarian and plant base food inspired on middle east. Only two employees are there, so be patient. Food is very good. We had "a little bit of everything" which is a selection made from the chef of 4 dishes. We had hummus of course, babaganoush, fried coliflowers, sweet potatoes fries. Warm pitas are served. Really good! A part of the waiting time, the service is friendly and attentive.

Wow this is really a hidden gem in The Hague. The menu is vegetarian and vegan and everything tasted so great. The waitress was really a perfect host and gave us good advise. Also that we first wanted order too much and she gave us good advice. I am really coming back and i would recommend everybody to eat here.

Great place, you can really indulge without having to pay a lot (around 40 for two). The food is impeccable. On the picture 'a little bit of everything' that I strongly recommend taking.

Had dinner last night and was very happy except I think the shared surprise plate at 17 Euros per personne is too expensive. I would recommend ordering a la carte and sharing. It is not vegan but they can offer enough vegan dishes to please everyone. The vegan chocolate mousse was light and nice with spun tahini sugar on top- delicious! The service was great and we were made yo feel very welcome and comfortable. I would definitely go again!

Very friendly staff and delicious food even if they only serve vegetarian dishes. You'll have tastier dishes here than in many other places, asking for another of those fluffy pitas to scrape out the last bits out of the food bowls.

Vegetarian food is delicious and cheap:) it may be not that authentic but healthy and satisfying. I love the Algerian mint tea which is fragrant. The only negative is the simple interior and inconvenient toilet that funny tap makes it hard to wash hands

We had a variety of different dishes - left to the server to surprise and they were all very tasty and freshly made! Very charming ambience. Leave room for desert and cinnamon/ginger/orange infused tea!

Great vegetarian mezza-like food options. We had the 'little bit of everything' platter, where the chef makes you his favorite. Large variety of (Healthy) drinks and a decent beer selection. The staff is friendly and the service quick. Would recommend getting a reservation (by phone only) as it can be quite busy over weekends.

Really loved the food, the feta dip was probably my fave. The menu is great and I love that it’s all vegetarian! The staff was sweet, too. Unfortunately the knafeh was too dry and plain, it really lacked some of the attar they traditionally use. Would have been five stars if the dessert was better.

Such a good place! We loved the food and the atmosphere was great. We had the shared dish everything vegetarian and it was so good to try a wide range of food and tastes. The HUmmUS was so creamy. We will visit again.

Staff 🕺🏼 We‘ve been there in August - staff was really charming und friendly, it was very busy that day we came but they made it possible, that we could stay there and gave us blankets for sitting outside. Food&Drinks 🥤🍽 We both had lemonade which was pretty small for that price. The price of the Shared plate for too with 34,- is really high for the amount of food you get. The eggplant was really small and hadn’t the taste we expected - could be garnished better, the Hummus and the bread were pretty good, also the red cabbage salad was really delicious and refreshing with the vinegar dressing. Last but not least the falafel was very fluffy and one of the best I ate in a long time! What else? We waited pretty long for the food but were told they spontaneously switched positions in the kitchen and as I sad in the beginning it was quite busy that evening, so we were fine with that. I would recommend advance booking if you wanna go there (we’ve been there on Thursday evening). ⭐️⭐️⭐️ All in all I would give 3,5/5 stars for the great staff and part of the food but think the prices could be lower or the portions bigger and a little bit more flavorful :)
