They are delicious and fill you up before you even notice. The savory ones were quite nice.

Oooo what a pancake place , we took sweet and savory ones (Nutella /ham,onions,mushrooms) and they were big & tasty !, please note it’s like a full breakfast meal so don’t be greedy :) The cappuccinos were also nice to accompany the food and i would definitely recommend the place to anyone who’s looking for a non touristic place with nice staff (and child friendly but you gotta come early !)

I always take my friends to this place! The people who work here are extremely sweet and they really put a lot of passion in this place. The icecream is the best and i love the pancakes they serve here! The restaurant is very clean and super cute. Me and my boyfriend really enjoyed the pancakes and the drinks. I suggest everyone who is near RAI to come to this place if theyre hungry.

Absolute love the poke bowls. I had a few, and Ijsland has really good ones, the best, part I can just call and pick them up warm and ready to go.

A point to note: it can get quite crowded on Saturday mornings, so plan accordingly. Prices are typical for Amsterdam, offering good value for the quality and experience. Whether you're a local or just visiting, IJsland is a charming spot with excellent food.

Great icecream, location, and staff is really lovely. The only issue is that the terrace is often full of wasps. I wish they could set-up a repellant or traps. If it were bees that would be a different story, but the wasps can be quite aggressive with your food and drink

Gluten free pancakes are amazing! And the boerenpannekoek is too.
