After struggling with extreme tiredness for seven years, symptoms were getting so bad they affected every area of my life (work, relationships, self-worth). After making several visits to the hospital for my complaints I had no success with any of the treatment. Doctor Chen has given a different approach that aims to to solve the core issue and not the symptoms. He is very intelligent, kind, professional, and funny. Within one month my issue was gone! Born in Rotterdam, but living in the USA for the past 25+ years. I was visiting family when I experienced serious pains around by knee. When it did not go away or lessen after a few days of stretching and light exercises. I decided I needed professional help. After calling multiple different physical therapists and healers/acupuncturists, none of which could or would me with a few hours/1 day notice, Dr Chen was the only Doctor that took my emergency seriously. Dr Chen opened his clinic early on a Saturday to fit me in and came in on his day off to do second session on a Sunday. Dr Chen is personable, kind and engaging. He has a soft hand and a great sense of humor. But more importantly he cares about his patients. He helped lessen and manage the pain and he was upfront about it not going away miraculously, but it would make my flight back home more comfortable. He also gave me diet instructions and lifestyle adjustments that will help mitigate the issues. All and all an amazing experience that I will not soon forget. And next time I am in town I will visit him again...hopefully under less urgent circumstances.

After two years having pain in the low beck and left leg and trying physio and chiropractic which could not fully help me, I am very happy to find Dr. Chen and his team. Acupuncture in combination with herbal therapy and advice regarding food after just 4 times showing extremely good result in my case. My pain is almost gone and after few more treatments I will be as much as new. I could not express how much I am satisfied with Dr.Chen approach finding a root of my problems. I attended the clinic as i have suffered for twenty years with chronic trigerminal neuralgia. I was instantly put at ease by Mr Chen and his confidence that with the correct management and treatment we could ease this issue. I am now 5 weeks into the course and my pain is decreased significantly and i am attending now just once weekly. I can't give a high enough review and i would say if you have doubts you should at least go for an appointment and listen to Mr Chen. 10/10 service from the team there.

Dr Shandy helped me so much with my joint problems and pain management. I am also all around calmer and less anxious since going regularly. The energy of the space is great - no-frills, and there to get it done, with a very kind staff. I am trans and feel very comfortable and respected. Could not recommend more.

Hello, I had pain in my lower back and shoulders and I found Dr. Chen office via google search. Since the time I started taking acupuncture to get ride of pain, I had a very positive experience with Dr. Chen. He is a very good and knowledgable doctor that do listen to patients. He is doing fantastic job and do care to all patients. Eventhough, my issues were resolved I still keep going to acupuncture to ensure my body will stay in healthy mode. I do recommend Dr. Chen should you have any issue with your lower back and shoulders.

I came to dr. Chen about two months ago in a pretty bad shape. I was feeling tired all day long despite going to bed at 8pm the night before. I could not focus, I felt clumsy, emotional, easily hurt and quickly angry. I had been avoiding social interactions because they made me very tired. I was having bad dreams, heart palpitations and heavy chest. All these made me think that something was seriously wrong with me. Before seeing dr. Chen, I had gone to the GP, who ran some blood tests - thyroid hormone, vitamin b12 and d3. All came back okay but I was still not feeling well. The first appointment with dr. Chen was very insightful. He asked me questions about my lifestyle, foods I was eating, he checked my pulse and then he made me look at my tongue. I could see the marks of my teeth around the tongue and a white glaze on top. Then he explained what all this meant and said that he can help me get better. But there was a catch. It will take many months and I had to keep my end of the bargain. I had to give up certain foods that were generating dampness and phlegm in my body. I said that I was willing to do it and I started going for treatment every week, acupuncture and cupping plus herbal pills. Slowly, I started feeling better. I've got my energy and focus back, I'm enjoying the social interactions again, I'm less emotional and I've just managed to recover my deep sleep this past week. There is still a long way to go until my body gets cleaned but these results make me hopeful. I felt that dr. Chen and his team listen well to my problems and adjusted the treatment when a new symptom popped up. They happily answered my questions and they made me feel that they really cared for my wellbeing. I also feel that I've got a good bang for my buck compared to other acupuncture clinics that charge more for fewer procedures (only acupuncture and no cupping) and no talk about the treatment and the progress. I know this because I had been to another acupuncturist before dr. Chen. All in all, I am definitely recommending dr. Chen and his team.

I'm very satisfied with this clinic. My previous experience with accupuncture was not good, some years ago. Now after 4 years, I decided to give another try, after several months of high stress, I was completely exhausted and my stomach and its functions totally affected. After several sessions with Dr. Cedric and Dr. Silvan and with the experienced pieces of advice of Dr. Chen, my symptoms diminished dramatically and I am feeling exceptionally better. They are a highly recommended and very skilled team in TCM.

I have chronic shoulder pain for about 4 years. In Canada I had registered massage therapy every month as well as physiotherapy a few time. None of them really alleviated the problem. I found out my student insurance covers acupuncture and decided to give it a try. The doctor was friendly and explained the issue to me. After the first treatment, my shoulder pain went away for a few days, then had the second treatment. I can feel the pain is slowly getting away, but this is an ongoing process. However, so far it has been more effective than all treatments I've had in the past

I went to Clinic Chen to improve my overall health and more specifically my stomach. Shandy has been working with me using acupuncture and giving me advice on diet improvements for the last past weeks. In just those few weeks I found some improvement in my stomach. Everybody is very kind and understands Dutch/English. I highly recommend this clinic especially for people who need their service to be in English.
