What an unexpected delight -- a Tel-Aviv style cafe in Zeist! I stumbled onto SHOUQ by pure chance, while on a work trip to Utrecht. The food was healthy, reasonably priced, generously portioned -- and delicious.

Order their chefs menu for a party at home. Everybody absolutely loved every bite. Very kind team and reasonably priced. Highly recommend!

Looking to grab a bite to go we stumbled upon this gem. Wow. We were amazed by this authentic food and the amazing flavour. Too bad this is not in my hometown but will definitely go out of the way to come here again. Oh, and the owner is a super friendly guy!

First time there. We chose for chef’s choice and were absolutely blown away by the flavours, smells and textures of the food. It was more than enough food for 2 people. The staff is awesome as well. We’ll be going there whenever we’re in the neighbourhood.

We ate there yesterday night. A friend recommended it and I know she is a very picky eater, so it was clear it must be good. We were so curious. But now that my expectations were really high they even got those expectations crashed in an amazingly positive way! Everything (really everything) was so damn good and fresh and with so much love in it! I now have a new favorite restaurant. You have to try the chefs choice platters and just enjoy what you get.
