I really like the place, specially that it's on the Berdawni river side, and having lunch during the summer at the "Wede" is iconic in Zahle. The service is perfect even during packed days, they're well trained and friendly. The food was delicious, but we've noticed a slight reduction in quantities, i guess it's understandable if they didn't want to affect the prices that much. Overall great experience.

Nmeir is a great place to enjoy a delicious and authentic Lebanese meal. The food is freshly prepared and cooked to perfection, and the atmosphere is very relaxed and romantic. The service can be a bit slow at times, but the staff is friendly and attentive.

Casino Nmeir is one of the best restaurants! I had my engagment lat week in it.. Besides it's naturally beautiful setting, the food is tasty and mouth watering, the portions are generous and the service is excellent! The owner is welcoming in an exceptional way and makes u feel at home! Very professional, dedicated generous and attentive to details.. It was a beautiful experience and I would highly recommand Casino Nmeir not only for a random visit but as well for your special occasions..

The typical old fashioned Lebanese crooks. We were 2 Europeans (ajeneb) and just wanted to have a beer and a little snack. The waiter came first with a 2l bottle of water... I had to decline twice. He left the closed bottle on the the table. We ordered 2 beers, carrots, festo and 6 cheese sambousek. They came with 1/4 Kg carrots, festo, the sambousek and the beers. The sambousek were good and the rest... well.. normal. When I asked the bill they came with fruits. Again! I declined and insisted for the bill. The waiter finally came back with an Arabic badly handwritten invoice of 24$! They charged us 12$ for 6 sambousek, 7$ for 2 beers and 5$ for carrots... Yes, expensive carrots... I paid my bill... and send them to h... for the tip. Hey Nmeir, stop your ridiculous old fashion and dishonest behaviour! And for those who want to have some good food and honest service, just go next door to Mhanna (unfortunately it was closed that day). Yes Mhanna is expensive, but you get the best without all this ridiculous hassle. And you, Abu Nemr, go eat cucumbers (kol Khiara :-D)

We were invited to go in by the manager or owner of the restaurant, one of several restaurants in Bardouni. Once we sat down, we were presented by a menu that is made of one A4 paper that is placed in a dirty and worn off plastic covering. The prices were very exaggerated by all standards, when we inquired about it, we received a sarcastic answer. Once we decided to leave after paying for the water we ordered, the waiter started negotiating and reducing the prices to accommodate “our budget”. This place is obviously a tourist trap and apparently all restaurants have the same attitude. Definitely not recommend and would never come back. Advise to avoid.

Excellent food, excellent service and magical atmosphere in the middle of Berdawni river. Ideal for lovers, couples and families and also events and weddings. Much recommended.

A great place in Zahle and without doubt one of the best in the town for miles. It’s a great comfort to escape the heat after visiting Baalbeck Ruins and take shelter in this super restaurant by the river side with great ambience, delicious food and excellent service. 👍

We had several items for lunch, most of our food was below average and we were shocked by the bill. Not worth the money spent at all!! We do not recommend this restaurant at all.

Phenomenal experience. Might be on the pricier end but the service was excellent and you cannot beat the location. Listening to water flowing next to you is very relaxing and worth it all. Owner was very attentive and made sure we were satisfied throughout. Last but not least, we got a assorted fruit plates on the house. We loved it and would come back again.
