Favorite new cocktail bar. Owned by lovely and amazingly talented Tess Posthumus & Timo Janse. First time I went there I immediately had 3 new favourite cocktails (Akina, Dutch Courage signature & Koko Klapa)

Excellent cocktail bar! A nice corner bar with a relaxed atmosphere, it was insanely hot inside so we sat outside for a few drinks....very professional, very tasty and we will definitely be back!

Awesome Genevere cocktail bar I'm heart of Old Amsterdam. A little hidden, but great service, cocktails and atmosphere. Sister bar of the Flying Dutchmen, which is how we discovered it. I'll definitely be back!

We were in Amsterdam for 3 nights and in the first night we were there to have an espresso martini. It was the best. The second night we tried 6 different coctails with my friend and all were delicious. and the last night we wanted to finish our journey with magnificient coctails of this place. Very cozy, small and chilled cocktail bar. We tried the 'kopstootje' (from the vending machine) old Dutch tradition with a fun story behind and tried a good varieties of cocktails, prices are reasonable as the place is very central. Thank you to the bartenders Martijn, Wessel and Rudy for the hospitality and the special experience.

Cozy place to have a drink in a central location of Amsterdam. The place per se is relatively “small”. There is a very warm vibe, which is great for having a cocktail and chatting with fellow friends. They keep serving you water which is nice. Prices are on average considering it is in a very touristic area of Amsterdam. The toilet is very clean, which I really liked.

Super cool traditional bar in the center of the city. Focuses on the Genever spirit, but can also make banging cocktails of any variety. The door man, waiter and bartender were all very welcoming and helpful. The bartender was skillfully slinging great looking cocktails.

Size-able bar for the area with an extended menu from the original Flying Dutchman Bar! Expect only amazing bartenders with classy cocktails. There is a lot to take in on the menu, but trust your resident bartender to find the perfect drink for you!

I won’t be shocked if I see this cocktail bar in the top 100 soon. It’s a fun experience doing a flight of Jenever and I also tried the signature cocktail. a the place is cozy and has a nice vibe to it. The service is high quality and you feel taken care of. Love that this bar specializes in Dutch genever cocktails + beers! Loved our specialty drinks so much that we went 2 nights in a row + I'm officially a genever fan now. Definitely a gem as we weren't really feeling all the dive bars + Heineken-everything that most of the other bars in the area seemed to be.

Excellent bar with an amazing service, couldn’t be better ! Honestly the best bar experience this year so far, automatically free refill on water & snacks the whole night and exciting signature drinks based on dutch spirits. On top of that: very fair prices in a city, where you otherwise only get overpriced food. (I’m a barkeeper myself in mixology bars for several years)

Hands down the best cocktail bar in the Netherlands! I finally got my perfect drink- The Last Word. The bartender even made me a drink based on my preferences. The staff members were awesome, super outgoing & gave advice on the local area for food & drinks. Highly recommend oof you are looking for a cozy spot to relax and have a cocktail.

Great cocktails in a beautiful lounge. Drinks are well made by friendly bartenders. Ours actually knew us from visiting last year!

If you enjoy gin, scotch, vodka, or just cocktails in general this is a great place to learn about Genever and the impact it has had on the world of spirits.

Great choice of exeptional and tasty cocktails - for everyone who wants to try something special: based on Genever, a typical Netherland spirit. Very friendly and attentional stuff, cozy atmosphere. Definetely a worthable visit!

Fantastic little bar serving a huge range of cocktails from Dutch giniver. If you don't know what to choose, tell the barman the type of drink you usually have and he'll recommend. Fantastic service, really lovely staff and the cocktails are delicious. Not a typical tourist bar and we'll worth the experience.

This is a gem of a place, the cosy seating we loved our couples window seat, to quirky bathroom doors, very funny watching people try to figure them out! To the outstanding service we had both times we visited. The cocktails are on another level preformed my the master makers, whom also keep their special water topped up for you along with some bar snacks. We look forward to going back to try more cocktails from the extensive menu!
