    Zaria Airport is a public facility that is housed by the National College of Aviation Technology. It is based in Zaria along Zaria-Sokoto Road. It has facilities to train pilots and air-crew members for commercial and private airlines. It has a moderate-sized tarmac for small airplanes and helicopters. Although it was established more than 30 years ago, the Zaria airport is yet to be fully put to commercial services of private airplanes. The the tarmac is rough, which like most of its facilities require upgrading to enhance safety.
