It’s odd that I’ve been to Pearl Garden on many many occasions but in all those trips never had the need to visit their restroom. My good fortune ended yesterday… and I was subjected to the torture of an odour that cannot be explained. It didn’t appear to be as a result of a customer’s explosive bowl movement, it was the permanent state of the restroom. How is this acceptable?! PS: Food still slaps but I’ll withhold two stars for the trauma

If you are looking for a good chinese restaurant in Victoria Island, Lagos Nigeria, this is not it! They are the most expensive and the meals served is totally not worth all that money. These guys even charge an extra 33% of the total amount customers spent on meals and call it tax! They served soggy chinese fried rice - served at room temperature for God’s sake! Burnt pastry (spring rolls) and sour protein sauce. The worst chinese restaurant experience for me in Lagos, Nigeria! I don’t recommend!!!! 👎👎👎

It was as good as expected

Pearl garden... located at the heart of Lagos party center.. it’s a nice Asian restaurant. Here you can celebrate birthday, anniversary, lunch dates etc... I took a time out Sunday afternoon and it was LIT...Great Ambiance, soft spoken and welcoming staff, hospitality is spot on and neat to the teeth. Take that special time and check it out

Service is good. Although the waiters can be overzealous. The Appetizer was great, but I found the main courses we ordered to have the same general taste (soy sauce laden sweetness). Parking is ok too.

The ambiance is nice. Wasn’t the biggest fan of the food. Had I think Chinese fried rice and sauce which I liked but the prawns were not it for me. LOVED the Chapman, very tasty. the barbecue wings were kinda burnt so didn’t really enjoy it. Took really lovely pictures there anyway. The staff were warm too and the service was remarkable.

Conspicuously located along Tiamiyu Savage street (same street with the more popular Terra Kulture) in the upscale Victoria Island area of Lagos, Pearl Garden Chinese Restaurant does not disappoint with its Oriental theme and opulence. As I walked through the grand double door entrance - manned by a doorman of course - my eyes heralded a large partitioned restaurant floor, with large chandeliers hanging pretty and and walls adorned with Oriental art. Aesthetically pleasing. ✅ Space, they say, is the ultimate luxury. There is plenty of it here. COVID 19 protocols are still observed; a compulsory temperature scan and hand sanitizer applied before proceeding to sit. It was a group dining and I was directed upstairs, where I was ushered into one of the private dining rooms - customary with upscale Chinese restaurants. The red rug lining the staircase was a nice regal touch but it needs to be changed; it is a tad faded and almost threadbare. The air conditioning upstairs was way better than it was downstairs; perhaps because it was a private room. The meals were really good; from the spring rolls starter to the main course and fruits dessert. Well presented and delectable. The Chapman I drank was on point too. Wait time before the main course was about 45 minutes. Service was good and organized. I did not use the restroom, thus unable to comment on that. There is wheelchair access only to the ground floor; no elevator. Parking is limited and there was no one to assist with that; a key service detail missing. Recommended as a good choice for an Oriental dining experience; more for a group than individual.

The place is nice with very high ceilings, Chinese decor. Can probably accommodate 200 converts. Food is excellent Chinese from various regions. A little pricy though because they add VAT and mandatory service charge thereafter. The service was not fantastic though. They have to straighten up a little bit and waiters should actually wait the tables they are assigned instead of watching celebrities at other tables. Dim Sun's are excellent and I would recommend one has a dim sun brunch there. Wine is way too expensive, prefer Jasmin tea...

This was a pure delight..Food was excellent..Menu is replete with a variety of dishes..Experience was quite reminiscent of my time in Taiwan.. Don't expect prices here to be cheap though, but for the quality you get they're very reasonable.

Lovely restaurant ambience. Service was really good but could be done with a bit more cheer. Food was just average in taste but decent in quantity. Classy restaurant nonetheless.

Lovely experience... Nice waiters, timely delivery of orders. Tasty soup, endless varieties of Oriental Dishes... And the Vanilla Ice cream is so delicious.

"Do you have any food allergies?" Thoughtful question by my host. I have none. So we ended up here. Mini feast fast for 3. Tasteful dishes. Lovely ambience. Well maintained actually because I was here in 2012 and it still looks good. Toilet was clean and staff were really responsive. Parking spaces may be an issue though they have a way of making it work. I can't talk about pricing, someone else paid (my host), but she would have let me know if it were overpriced.

One of the top restaurants for me in Victoria Island. I really recommend it. Amazing service, tasty food and great atmosphere..Only the music wasn't match with the style of the restaurant for me.

This restaurant is ok, the set up is quite old school. The food tastes good could be better for the price. The portions are quite generous, I remember thinking it's a more than usual. If you going here be prepared pocket wise.

Food was ok ... Restaurant has tried to maintain its reputation through the pandemic and reduced patronage they must have experienced, so food was still above average service was average. Was served a drink I did not ask for at the discretion of the waiter who probably felt ... We don't have this let's give what we have it won't matter 🙃🙄. Common with our waiters I must say ...

Had lunch there... Vermicelli noodles in Singaporean style and fish fillet in hot plate, prawns in sweet and sour sauce and special fried rice. Both tasted really good, but I'll say the fish fillet in hot place did it for me! We had enough to eat and some to take away, and the attendant was quite helpful in explaining the content of each meal. And we had the medium sizes. I also tried their prawn mayonnaise springrolls, not all that, but was OK. They followed covid protocols with temp checks and sanitizers. Price wise, I'll say they are a bit pricey. In all, we had a quiet and enjoyable experience.

Pretty okay food. Menu available in both Chinese and English. Their portions are large and their shrimp spring rolls are probably the best I've had in Nigeria as they don't skimp on the shrimps

It's OK food is nice recommended to try, but one day we visited no body came to ask us what to order or came to bring menu we even left and they didn't even ask why we are leaving or if there is any issue. The extra cost on their bill are too much and high... Food is delescious

This is a nice and cozy restaurant in Victoria Island Lagos. Wonderful customer service and a serene ambience. It is a good location to host a few friends and have a very small party. The parking lot is just outside the building but it's a bit hilly. Overall, it's a great place to be and the food is really nice. I would love to go back there again.

A quiet Chinese restaurant with great staff. The food however was average and did not meet my expectation of a Chinese meal. My special fried rice did not wow my palate but the prawn in chilli sauce was superb. I enjoyed my time here and rate it above other Chinese outlets regardless. Most importantly, I was offered a bag holder for my stuff and the tea is just as I imagined.

Try out the Singapore noodles and you'd be glad you did. Your taste buds will appreciate your decision. Very cosy place to dine out.

Pearl Garden continues to dazzle as the best place for family and business Chinese dining on Victoria Island. Impeccable service, good customer service from long term staff offering recognition and respectful welcome to regular patrons. Good quality food somewhat pricey but good value, flavorful and fresh. What's there not to like?

Upscale Chinese styled restaurant serving a variety of Oriental cuisine. Attended a birthday party there and the staff were so warm and accommodating. They even took time to sing a birthday song for the celebrant. I highly recommend them if you are planning a private party or intimate dinner.

This is apparently the best Chinese Resturant in Lagos. Serene environment, top notch customer service and the meal is amazing starting from starter to the main course meal🥘. So yummy. I and my partner hard a great time and we will surely visit again soon

A beautiful Chinese restaurant. Lovely place to go have a family treat, get-together, birthday bash etc. Took my wife there for her birthday and we loved all the songs played. The waiters were all very courteous and nice and the food was delicious. You can call in to make a reservation if you want to.

Chinese restaurant located in a good area. They are got good meal well prepared. The indoor gives you typical chinese feeling as well as the exterior or the building. The only challenge I have here is the limited parking lot.
