The scenery is cool & relaxing (even though largely unkept), and It’s a popular spot for nature lovers, sightseeing, picnics, little gatherings, aerobics, jogging, family walks. You can also engage in football, volleyball, outdoor gym, etc. The turnout is usually high on weekends, especially Saturday; the park comes alive and finding a good parking space can be tricky. Jabi Recreational Park is a very beautiful place that has become very popular in Abuja the state capital of Nigeria. You always see people hanging out there almost everyday of the week. This park is just beside the Jabi lake and it attracts people from different parts of the world as people look for ways to have fun and hangout without thinking of the budget to spend so much This is a perfect place for picnics and fun sporting events, here you can find horse riders all over the place, some people go to relax and view the lake or stroll round the park. Try and visit here someday.

The Park is nice. It incudes a small manageable lake with a mall, a boat club and a row of restaurants on one side and a picnic and walking trail on the opposite side. There are activities available like speed boating, canoeing, jet skiing, bycicle riding, scooter riding, rickshaw riding, horse riding and even roller skating. And of course you've got the mall. There's so much to fill a full day. Thank me later.

Absolutely amazing place to be. Always enjoy myself whenever I go there. I especially love going on the The boat cruise, riding horses and munching the delicious beef barbeque they make there. It's a truly awesome place to be.

Great place to exercise or just hang out. Effort is needed by city officials to keep the park clean. A run through the paved tracks will give you a 3.3km run easily, 3 loops will get you a 10k run. Runners and walkers in the park are friendly, warm and we all feel a sense of community at Jabi Park. Join the community and get fit in the process.

Jabi Lake Recreational park is a very beautiful place to be. If you're living in Jabi or environs and you needs a place to exercise, sight seeing, and meet people. Jabi Lake Park is the place. You can engage in football, volleyball, cycling, Tennis, gyming etc. Furthermore, you can buy items such as joggers and shorts for your excercise. Then get your day going by patronising the smoothie and juice vendors. A wide variety ranging from beet root and banana smoothie, sugar cane and ginger pressed drinks and every other thing inbetween.

A very amazing place to go with friends and family, big space for events, great view of the lake, views of fishes at the lake sides, horse rides, bicycle rides, food stores, games, thrift stores, skates, gym, and cool tree to rest under, has private sections for private discussions and for healing, great for artists, great to meet new people and is totally free to enter. It's a good park but it can be more organised and greener. The park is quite dusty and petty thieves here and there. There were horses to rent for a ride, bikes and motor bikes as well to rent for a ride around d park. My family and I had a picnic here, we rented mats from d Park...and we had a good time.

Jabi lake has a Beautiful environ, water and fresh air (natural feeling). A large field where family and friends can chill,sporting activities (horse rides, scooters, bicycles,volleyball ) etc. You are allowed to come with your refreshments and musical entertainments.. You can either bring your mats or rent..It’s usually full during festive periods..Its surrounded by residential houses and malls..it’s opened to all. They only need to clean the water regularly..

This is the perfect playground for adults. You'll find different game and recreation options; like horse riding boat rides, ping pong, hoops, volleyball, yoga, etc. It's also a perfect spot for picnics, long walks and you're sure to meet someone.

I wish the lake is better taken care of. Its too dirty. Otherwise, it's a fun place to go with family. They have motorbike racing, there is enough space to have a picnic and a general sense of ambience. Hopefully the next time I go there I will try the boat ride.

I love the park, simple yet full of fun. You get to met lots of new people, ride a horse, get a boat ride, ride a scooter, play tennis, volleyball, football, even skate if you're a fan. There's lots to do and many to see. Wonderful place for a family picnic, get together or a romantic date.

Nice and Fun space. Lots and Lots to do, from Horse Riding, snooker, Volleyball, Football and there's always fresh squeezed juice etc If you'd like to have a picnic with a BBQ stand, you may need to get permission from the Park office to avoid the staff coming to harass you.

A great place for relaxation

Jabi Lake Park is getting more exciting with lots of side funs aside from exercising. With fruit stands, table tennis and other games for adults, trainers are available; so many exercise classes to join. You can buy your apparatus from vendors within the park; healthy food stuffs - just name it. Skating, skiing, scooters for kids; horse riding for both adults and children. It's a fun place to be especially on weekends 👍

I recommend watching the sunset in this place because its priceless. The voices, ahas!! and laughter from the different groups both in the volley ball and badminton courts drifts to where I stand, it calms me and puts occasionally smiles on the face. I admit this is a perfect place/way to end a busy week.

Seasons sometimes makes memories beautiful. Jabi Recreational Park is quite a place that helps you savor the beauty of a outdoor meet and greet (s)... You could find it a little clumsy on festive days due to the number of individuals trying to explore open scenery.

Beautiful place to go for free. It's a big park with a big lake at the edge of the park. It's always full of activities whether or not it's crowded. Activities to be done here range from horse riding to bicycle riding to boat riding at the lake. Also, this is a good place to bring young kids as the space is large and young kids can run around easily. It's also a great place for a picnic. If you don't come with your mat, there's somewhere to buy. The environment is serene and taking a walk beside the lake gives a very cool feeling. A beautiful scenery. There's a car park outside the park but cars are parked at owner's risk. Remember to be careful always and no need to pay gate fee.😁

This park is not aesthetically pleasing. There's barely any grasses but you can go on a speedboat across the lake, ride a horse or play table tennis. Entry is free.

It's a fun place to be, with its cool environs

Good open space used for multiple forms of activities ranging from sporting to family outing. Not much in the way of facilities or parking so be prepared when coming. Also take extra precautions when parking your car to avoid break-in or theft.

Jabi Recreational Lake park is in the heart of the city...but much bushy and unkempt. The scenery is quite cool and closer to nature ...cool gentle breeze.

The park is lovely. On Saturdays it comes alive with thousands of people engaged in Badminton, volleyball, karate, football, table tennis, judo, skating, walking, running, aerobics etc. Tall, short, fat, thin, christain, Muslim, fully clad or barely so, choose your poison.

If you're looking for a nice, and relaxing place where you can just be one with nature then I recommend this park. You can rent a mat or come with yours, and have a whole picnic.

An open to public park where you can unwind, with a good view of the jabi lake. People come here for picnics and recreation. There are few vendors selling sacks and others selling clothes. You can go horse riding here as some guys rent out horses for 500 naira and offer to walk you on the horse if you cant ride, there's table tennis, bike rides even boat cruise on the lake and other fun things to do here. The fields are usually cool for picnics and great family time, some guys rent out Mats incase you don't have any. Some games vendors occasionally bring different kind of games and activities there too. It's a cool place to bring children.

You can call me if you want to learn how to skate and ride unicycle. You are free to join our skating club.

Although the place was good, airy and breezy, a rude worker came up to my friend's and I and sent us away saying we should go eat outside. I understand he wanted to follow COVID rules but the rudeness was uncalled for.

It's usually more fun when the sun goes down, you get to enjoy the serenity. It's a cool place for dates or romantic evening walks. There are horse rides, scooters, bicycles which you could pay a token to enjoy. You could also pay for a boat ride. You could also get really cute sports gears/wears there. There are table tennis courts there too. You could also take your children for skating lessons there. It's really a cool place for a family picnic. However, during festive periods, the place is usually overcrowded.

A super exceptional place to get away with friends (despite the COVID-19 pandemic). The Park is a luxury location for outdoor games like: badminton, volleyball, bicycle rides, motorbike ride, horse ride, skating, jogging, lake jet ski, table tennis, yoga, weight lifting, martial arts, and full body massage. All these facilities are available for rent or hire. Cool refreshments like smoothie, confectionaries, water, food and snacks are also available for purchase. Sporting gears like shoes, tights, shorts, shirts, glasses, phone jackets and more are available for sale. You can also choose to bring your own drinks/refreshment and simply sit by the lakeside with friends (or solo). Books of various kinds are available for sale on the premises. Saturdays and public holidays (from 6am) are the best days to go if you want 100% of all these services. What an amazing place to visit in Abuja!
