Visited
this
place
once,
specifically
for
the
canoli,
as
it
seems
to
me
they
are
the
only
ones
serving
them
in
Den
Helder.
My
first
attempt
totally
failed
because
the
moment
I
stepped
inside
there
was
a
smell
of
something
burned.
Then
my
gaze
fell
on
canoli
and..
guys,
I
am
sorry,
but
they
look
awful.
A
little
bit
burned
at
the
edges,
thank
goodness
it
was
covered
in
chocolate
and
not
so
visible,
but
still..
and
they
are
small
too
and
the
price
is7
euros
for
5
canoli,
it's
like
50
cent
per
bite?))
There
is
no
way
someone
can
call
it
reasonable.
So
I
decided
that
I
don't
want
canoli
that
much
and
left
with
my
spirits
down
and
stomach
completely
canoliless.
Despite
that
I
came
back
a
couple
of
weeks
after,
determined
to
try
them,
maybe
they
taste
better
then
look?
Guess
what
-
NO.
Anyone
who
ever
tried
canoli
somewhere
else
or
at
least
have
the
imagination
of
what
canoli
is
supposed
to
be
like
would
tell
you
that
these
are
not
canoli)))
Too
sweet,
I
can
barely
taste
something
else
except
sugar,
especially
pistashio-flavoured
ones
(did
they
forget
to
put
pistashio
there?)
not
crunchy
at
all,
pastry
is
tough
and
sticky
rather
then
light
and
crispy,
it
was
hard
to
chew
and
the
filling
was
so
rich
(in
a
bad
way),
almost
like
eating
a
stick
of
sugared
butter.
All
in
all
I
would
never
recomend
this
"dessert"
to
any
human
being.
Especially
at
this
price.
As
for
other
products
offered
by
Bom
dia
Cafe
-
maybe
they
are
good,
seeing
how
many
people
rated
this
place
such
a
high
mark.
But
I
will
never
know
because
this
experience
was
so
horrible,
I
almost
feel
like
threw
those
7
euros
down
the
drain
and
thus
never
coming
back.
Owner
should
definately
try
real
canoli
before
allowing
to
serve
this
to
guests.
Canoli
should
be
sweet
and
savory
as
they're
filled
with
ricota
cheese,
light,
tender
and
crispy,
pastry
covered
in
small
bubbles
and
air
pockets.
At
least
google
it..
Jeez.
