This place is a hidden gem with an absolutely delicious, exceptional food and very caring service. They accommodated easily with vegeterian/pesceterian options as well. Each dish is so unique, with different textures and exquisite flavours. You can definitely feel how much chef is passionate about what he does. I am sure one day they will get their Michelin ⭐️ 10000/10 🥹 We will be back definitely 🤍

This is an exceptional restaurant in a most unlikely place. It should become a destination. Japanese/French cuisine to an extremely high standard at a very reasonable price.

This spot is a real diamond in the rough. The dynamic duo of Quan and Shan have skillfully curated a unique dining experience with their Japanese-French fusion restaurant. Its minimalist decor instills a peaceful and unformal ambience. Shan's exceptional talent radiates from the kitchen, where he single-handedly concocts a diverse array of dishes. His succulent duck with plum-infused gravy is an absolute culinary triumph, and the peach dessert, in its refreshing simplicity, perfectly rounds off the meal. Quan, a welcoming and amiable host, effortlessly enhances the dining experience with his sincere charm. The evident synergy between him and Shan infuses the establishment with a unique, convivial warmth - their shared passion for their craft is palpable. The service, though occasionally overlooking a detail like forgotten cutlery or an incomplete dish introduction, is mostly commendable. Recognizing the challenge of catering to patrons single-handedly, I rate the service a worthy 4 out of 5. This isn't a critique, but rather a gesture of encouragement for the potential I see in Quan and Shan to be true leaders in the gastronomic arena. If there's a small suggestion I'd make, it's that the awesome quality of their food really sets the bar high, so it'd be great to see the service step up to match, which I am sure it will with a little time and practice. One final note: While the restaurant doesn't serve alcohol, the richness of the culinary experience more than compensates for this.

Exceptional service and delicious food! We found this delightful gem during a beautiful bike ride from Amsterdam. Quan and Shan are such lovely people, specialising in an intriguing fusion of French and Japanese cuisine. Being Japanese myself, I find their knowledge of Japanese culinary traditions quite impressive. Their dishes are authentically crafted, yet cleverly infused with a creative twist. We felt genuinely welcomed and thoroughly enjoyed every single dish. I highly recommend this unique dining experience!

A beautiful place where you can taste high quality cuisine without having to go to a Michelin restaurant. Quan and Shan are super friendly and motivated, you can clearly see that they do what their doing because they love it. This restaurant is a must in Broek in Waterland

Chanced upon this cute little place with my family when we were riding in the area. Ordered the spinach salad, chicken salad, matcha latte, and coffee. They were good, exactly what we were looking for (a light bite). Place was minimalistic, clean environment. The toilets were clean too. Owners were very friendly, asking for feedback on how they could improve. We were told that they would change their menu every few weeks. We will definitely be back to try their dinner menu. P.S. their dog is very cute!
