I had one of the worst experiences of my life at this hotel. I was in town to visit my sister who lives an hour outside of Utrecht, and we were exploring the city together on our last day before I left. When we checked in around 5pm the woman questioned whether my sister was also staying in the room because that would make it 3 guests which isn’t allowed. We said no, that she was just coming up to help with bags etc. Then we got to the room and had a 20 minute conversation, at which point the phone rang with the lady from the front desk demanding that my sister leave the room. I told her again that she was not staying, and that she was just talking with us in the room, and that she would leave. Within a few minutes, two women were outside our door harassing us AS we were leaving to make sure my sister left. There was no humanity or hospitality in any of this interaction, and it was not even night time. It was as if we were under surveillance in some kind of youth hostel, certainly not the kind of treatment you should get at a so called 4 star hotel. There was no apology or anything, and they treated us like criminals when we did absolutely nothing. I will never go back here. Save your money and pick a different hotel.

Honestly, this is the worst hotel experience I have had in my life. The phone was disconnected, the TV wasn't working. Later on, we got a room switch and it smelled disgusting and it looked like it hadn't been used in a very long time by the guests or the hotel cleaning staff (no towels and toiletries available). The wellness started to close 30 minutes before the stated time which made us feel rushed instead of relaxed. I'd still give it two stars because the staff was a little understanding.

We were welcomed by a friendly staff and although we reached 1.5hrs before check-in time, I’m happy that we were given a room fast enough to rest after a long flight. The room was very spacious room for 2 - just like in the pictures. Its view was Utrecht’s central station and the soundproof of the room is unbelievably good! Not once during our stay we got disturbed by the ongoing rail traffic. The hotel is 3 mins away from the central station, nearby many bike rentals, grocery, restaurants and Hoog Catharine mall.

The staff here are so nice & the hotel is really comfortable. It’s ideally located as a base to work or travel in Utrecht. The wellness centre and pool are wonderful, with views across the city and generous opening hours (6am-11pm). Excellent breakfast too.

Very good location, close to train station and city center and also shops. Nice view from window. Swimming pool, sauna. Clean, nice rooms, good customer service. Tasty breakfasts. All was good. I would come back to this hotel again. Recommend.

Don’t come near this place The stuff are horrible, they kicked us out since we asked them to call the agent who we used for booking the room Liza/ Lisa the manager is just a horrible person who ruined our day! I’d highly recommend to stay away, there are so much better hotels around Btw, the location is great, but make sure you really want to take the risk of meeting these crazy people

Very nice hotel that is ideally located. The family rooms are incredibly spacious, well worth the money. The service is excellent and everyone is always willing to help, from reception through to the cleaning staff. The swimming pool and facilities are lovely and quite popular with the guests. I would absolutely recommend Inntel Hotel Utrecht!

Great staff, very friendly and helpful. Decent breakfast, everything was well made and tasteful. Pool was on the smaller side, buts it's location (top floor) and view made up for that. Loved the whirlpool in the room, as well as the sauna, though the minifridge didn't work. Bed and linen were of great quality and comfort. Wonderful experience all in all

Great view from the 10th floor, just what I needed. One step away from Central Station and the mall. A few steps away from the old city centre. Rooms are comfortable and quiet. Floor to ceiling windows andgood black out curtains.

Great hotel. It was a very enjoyable stay. Our wishes regarding the location of the rooms were met. Rooms (spa) very spacious, great view, bed and bedding comfortable. Everything in the rooms worked. We loved the idea of a coffee machine in the room. But the best thing is of course taking a bath in the Jacuzzi overlooking the city - something beautiful. The hotel is new and well soundproofed, so you don't have to worry about noise from the railway station. The rooms are air-conditioned. The air conditioning works efficiently and quietly, ensuring great comfort. The breakfast was plentiful and tasty. attentive and helpful service. I recommend it and I intend to go back there soon. The rooms were clean, however, a few places could be prepared better. Many hotels in the Netherlands have a similar problem - mould in some areas of the bathroom. I really don't understand why they don't use the right chemicals to clean the tiles and silicone.

Love how the rooms are decorated and are spacious. It's a modern hotel with great amenities and the location is great for shopping, public transport and exploring Utrecht from. This is my 2nd stay here. Ist time was on my own last year and this time with my 2 teenage children so we had the family room. It was great. The kids had their own shower room off their bedroom. The main room had a comfy king bed with 3 chairs and a table plus a fridge. We also had a main bathroom and another separate toilet. So we all had enough space to not get in each others way.

Had a great stay there... nice room, close to the railway tracks, but did not expereince any noisy-distraction at all... so a plus for that.. trully close to the central station, that is also a plus; if you want to trvael throughout the netherlands that is a good place to start because by train you can get to Amsterdam within 25 min. etc... breakfast is standard and can be a bit noisy at times... but nothing that should be on the Hotel rather then the departing guests... parking space is apparently available nearby; I did not know try that out... it is usually really expansive to park so close to the center ... the rooms were very nice; only the glas-door to the bathroom was something to get used to as it did not really keep the noises within the bathroom... looks nice but is not so user-friendly as thought of probably gym is small, but with nice view... and the pool is trully something to enjoy... we went there 2x throughout our 4 days-stay and had the pool all for ourselves... we will come back

We took a room with wellness, and the room itself is very nice, we were lucky to get a room with a nice view. When you take a room like this, obviously you want to use everything till the end of your stay. Unfortunately in the morning, we did not have running water for approximately 3 hours. Because of that, we were not able to attempt to to the dining room for breakfast which we already paid for. The receptionist said that under those circumstances, they will wait with breakfast but it didn't happen.

Great location, spacey and fell-furnished rooms and excellent conference facilities. Generous breakfast. All this topped with great service and you have well earned the 5 stars.

The persobal is very unfriendly and rude! The beds are very cheap, small and uncomfortable and the room was very cold all day and the personal did nothing about it after we were complaining two days! We did the check out 12 o’clock and they said that we have to pay 10€ because of hour late but we did took 2 rooms for 3 days and one room check out 1 day earlier and they didn’t give money back. When we refuse to pay the 10€ the receptionist start to insult us and say “your mother…” We really had bad experience in this hotel and we will not advise to nobody to sleep there!

Loved this hotel!! We stayed in a family room which had plenty of space. The breakfast offered a good selection. The staff were all very nice and friendly. Most of all the location is perfect. Great for food, shopping, parking, and train connections.

The hotel is well located and an easy walk into the old town. Parking at this hotel is a real problem. Plan where you are going to park before you go there. The breakfast buffet is massively overcrowded, the buffet is a real ordeal and the food is really very average. The is s spa area on the top floor is good and has some great views over the city. The pool area, however is overrun with little kids and worn out parents. The sauna and steam bath area is full of people wanting to wear swimwear into the sauna despite signs everywhere asking them not to. Not very hygienic. On a good note - they offered Oliebollen to guests on New Year’s Eve, which was a nice touch.

I had a horrible lodging experience in a nearby hostel my first night in Utrecht and was in desperate need of a new place to stay. I booked into this hotel and was greeted by some of the best, most friendly service I've ever received at a hotel. Even though it was 9am, Laura at the front desk let me check in super early. I hadn't slept at all the previous night which turned my day around and saved my trip. The breakfast was wonderful and I ended up eating it every morning I was there even though I planned to eat out in the town. The rooms were clean, well furnished, and had a great view, but the real luxury was the service I received while here.

This is the best hotel located at Utrecht Station. The hotel is literally next door and across the street from a shopping mall. The twin room I was in had a grand view of the train tracks and station. The room was surprisingly quiet. The room was clean and comfortable. There was a hot water maker with instant coffee. The hotel had much to offer that I am sorry I did not check out. There is a nice dining room and spa. The location is the best for train hopping on day adventures and easy walking to the touristy canals, outdoor market and shopping mall. Recommended!

Wow, what a place and location. Certainly of the best hotels i have stayed at, silent, clean, and cosy rooms, beautiful view. Hospitality, pretty much everything 10/10

Perfect hotel for the price, almost City Centre but that actually makes it even better as you can walk around more. They have a swimming pool on the roof (it's inside so it's nice and warm) and with a wellness spa and everything within reach with the main train station next door, All in all a very happy stay!

Great hotel. Love the rooms with the spa tubs. It’s nice to go there and have a little bit of me time everyone once in a while. The shared spa facilities are also very nice, clean and with a great view.

Very noisy air ventilation system. I couldn’t sleep even with earplugs on. I asked nicely if it was maybe an issue with my room and I was told it was hotel wise and couldn’t be turned off. I wasn’t offered any kind of solution.Otherwise the location is really good, the pool area is great, the beds are confortable.

Lovely last minute hotel getaway for my partner's birthday. Although we were a bit shocked when the cleaning staff came into our room at 10am without knocking... Other than that, the pool was delightful and the staff were super helpful when my birthday balloon plans failed. Thanks so much for a lovely stay!

Got a wellness room with sauna and bubblebath tub , both working great with bubblebath placed in front of the window/wall with an outstanding view during all times of a day . Great breakfast included . Pool and wellness center was not really busy which was great for us and really clean and tidy . Huge plus for people visiting the city by train , is that the property is really one step away from CS !

Great place if you are looking for a stay where you can cook and have your own space. Rooms are cleaned twice a week and are spacious enough for a Studio. Kitchen is well equipped and it has got everything you need for your stay. Cons I'd say the location since you'll be 10 minutes cycling from city centre and there is not a supermarket on walking distance. Ground floor has a restaurant/bar that has a great outdoor area and a so-so menu. TV does not have any channels. WiFi works great so use your own accounts to stream stuff into the TV.

We had a terrible service experience. We weren't allowed to have a meeting with someone so we need to order a new room. So we had 2 rooms. Terrible. We payed 300 euro in totaal. Worst service

Staff was very helpful, I forgot my toothpaste and asked for it at the reception. Usually if I ask for something I have to wait at least 10 min, here it hasn’t even been a 2 min wait. No slippers though, I didn’t take mine because I was sure they would be in the room. Very convenient location right in the Utrecht center. Modern hotel with a touch of a character!

The staff was very friendly and helpful, plenty of fresh choices at the breakfast. Nice and tidy rooms. Location is excellent, being next to Utrecht central. The swimming pool was a great addition! It would have been great if there was body lotion in the bathroom. Next to that, I thought the shower (head) was very close to the wall, and I couldn't adjust that very well. So I nearly had to stand against the wall to shower. A plain "rain shower" should solve this. The wellness room was under construction.

Great location, modern and clean rooms, blackout curtains do what they're supposed to, breakfast is top notch for the price, staff is very friendly and helpful. The only thing missing was the complimentary slippers, which is quite and inconvenience for me personally. Dental kit was provided immediately at my request. Special thanks goes to the amazing Malissa at the reception for being a lifesaver by going way beyond her duties and providing precious help that saved me and my colleagues from what could have been a disaster. I honestly can't say enough to thank her for the extremely friendly, polite, and easy going approach to my request and for her quick and efficient actions. Malissa, you're worth your weight in gold, thank you from the bottom of my heart!

We were offered a stay at Inntel hotel. The hotel is really nicely situated, the staff is really friendly and the room was clean and handy. We loved the wellness area at the top. However the booked arrangement was for a twin room (separated beds) and we were really disappointed not to be able to change/pay an upgrade to a double bed. Nothing was made to compensate that during our stay and it was never mentioned. Quite disappointing.

Great location, very good breakfast with everything you need, sauna and spa facilities on rooftop level are super! Reception personell is exceptionally friendly, we were moved in a bigger room for no costs. Only one small thing that influenced my sleep was the noise of the ventilation, that you cannot switch off. And: it would be nice to provide some water for the sauna oven. However, I will definitely recommend the hotel! Thank you!

Absolutely love the hotel and the staff there. Location is wonderful as its right beside the train station and a stone throw walk to the city centre where all the restaurant and malls are located. A big shout out to Laura and Lisa from the front desk for making the stay a wonderful experience.

A very comfortable room, spacious and everything you need. Was able to iron my shirt for my meeting the next day. They have some amazing facilities available.

Spaces room - big tower - Standard plus business hotel and frayed towels. Spend one night here as a layover - checked in late and left early. Perfect located to catch the train - around the corner there is an access to all the floors. Hotel feels standard plus business hotel without an extra portion of personal note. Room was clean - not super clean - nothing to complain. I enjoyed the view over the train station and grateful the reservation desk fulfilled my desire of having a room in the upper floors in my reservation. In the room there is everything what I expect in a hotel - mini bar was Empty and the fridge still running. Surprised about the towels, that feels quite off to dry myself with such a frayed peace of fabric. I missed the water bottle in the room and some personal note to feel more home - even for one night. I did not tested the breakfast - the offer is here 16€ for a buffet if you book it in advance. 3€ plus if you want to be spontaneous. Spa looks great on the pictures - checkt in to late to use it. Staff was friendly - short and efficient. A part of me missed the question in the morning - everything was ok or how was my night. Also here I always appreciate a personal note and missed it here. All good in the end - for business purposes - bear the train station I would book it again. For an romantic date and feeling home - I would book something else

Modern design hotel- we had a family room, which was nice. 2 toilets, 2 showers and a separate room for the kids (no windows, but still nice) . Sauna area was great with awesome views to the city. Would go there again.

Great hotel room , we had a sauna & whirlpool in the room (wine and glasses not included , glasses can be taken from bar downstairs lol) the bed was super comfy the bathroom fully stocked towels galore shower gel , hand soap and lotions , didn't use the top floor swimming pool and spa due to body shame but looked fantastic . Breakfast was wide range of breads , fruit juices, hot drinks, fried foods and yogurts.. location is a MASSIVE plus directly across from hoog Catherine shopping mall or few minute walk to city centre ..

Lovely Modern hotel, great views of Utrecht. Nice big room. The Reception team were really informative and friendly. Loved the chilled out pool on the top floor.

Wellness rooms have a whirlpool and a sauna.... And thats about it. No ambiance nothing. Stale room looking out over a gravel pit. And then the bed, well more a wok. Roll right out of bed literally. In all seriousness, it's bad, really bad. The curve in the matras is so bad that by morning you will kissing your knees. We left instantly during the night to find something better. The staff: 5/5 stars, wonderfull people really nice and professional. Thanks for the cocktails they were awesome. Update: hotel offered a partial refund. We are happy with this solution. Mistakes happen. Good people! Review adjusted based on this.
