We did not enjoy the fondue despite the reviews of many others. Ours was not gooey at all and had a very strong fermented smell to it. We had the fondue, a rosti & 2 coffees. Rosti was good. Total bill came up to CHF 105 which was a surprise then we realised the fondue was $30 pp ( per pax) do take note.

Friendly staff, great meals and at a reasonable price (this is Switzerland we're talking about after all). I suggest to walk in during the day to reserve a table however as it gets very busy at dinner time and we saw plenty of patrons being turned away as they had no tables available!

We ordered a cheese fondue but we are not sure is it traditional or not. The fondue does not have strong alcohol taste, you might ask for more alcohol if you want a traditional fondue. The rosti is delicious.

Definitely one of the best restaurants in Zermatt. Busy place so make a reservation. Ordered Raclette, Schnitzel and Cheese Fondue. They were all good. Total bill came up to CHF73.50.

Nice outside space in front of the restaurant at the end of a central pedestrian road. Waitress was nice when we asked to go inside because it was getting cold. The menu has a lot of different options with fondue, raclette, salade and typical Swiss dishes. It was nice. The only thing we don’t like is to pay for tap water when it is confirmed that it is not filtered.

Loved our dinner here! Wonderful service, nice atmosphere inside, and delicious food. We enjoyed the fondue, raclette, and rosti. A classic Swiss dinner that exceeded expectations!

Brilliant location for traditional Swiss food. We reserved a table for a Friday night and were given a great table for 2 on a busy night. The staff were amazing, they even told us that we were about to order too much fondue for 2 people with everything else that we had ordered. The food was incredible, I’d had fondue in the Valais before but this was so much better and worked flatware with the dried meat platter. We enjoyed the food and experience so much that we went back for lunch on the Saturday for lunch and had the Rosti. The gravy and veal sausage were incredible. If you want local and friendly food then you must try here.

First place we tried in Zermatt and we loved it straight away! We actually went twice for how good the food was! Amazed by the staff for speaking more than 5 languages and made us feel welcomed with such warmth and charisma. It was snowing so we were looking for some comfort food and that’s exactly what we received! Our first Cheese Fondu and it didn’t disappoint us at all, we actually became obsessed, SO GOOD. The best veal sausage with onion sauce and Rösti we tried during our 8 days in Zermatt!!! Highly suggested.
