This is a must visit when in Zermatt. Would have given 5 stars on food, but the burger was overcooked. Great flavors. Very unique lounging opportunity. Highly recommend you hike back to town after your meal.

Definitely very gourmet ! Had their house burger. it not just a simple burger. Amazing burger bun with seeds and delicious fresh beef patty! Gnocchi is to die for too. Everything is perfectly lovely. Service and environment are tip top.

Absolutely outstanding. The perfect Mountain restaurant. Vrony and Max are wonderful people, the service is excellent and words cannot describe the amazing food. The view from the terrace is one of the best in all Zermatt. Making this our new regular mountain restaurant.

Our party of 3 had a world class and scenic lunch at Chez Vrony at noon on a weekday. It is easy to access and see from the Findahl piste. It was immediately crowded with families and larger groups, so be sure to make a reservation. We tried the local salad bowl for 3 and the Gnocchi and Ravioli dishes. We loved the cheeses and flavors of each dish. The service was impeccable on the top floor of the restaurant and the bathrooms are nice. The Experience, Decor and ambiance is a solid 10/10, and the food and service does not disappoint.

I had the pleasure of dining at Chez Vrony today. The food, service and atmosphere were outstanding. I had the Bloody Mary soup for an entree, and the Mountain Goat Cheese Ravioli for the main course. The ravioli was the best I have ever had!!! 5 stars is not enough. Max was a great host and the wait staff were very friendly and helpful. And then there is the view of the Matterhorn. An outstanding and unforgettable experience!!!!

A restaurant inside the ski pists that is a MUST. The setting here is amazing! You can have a meal with a direct view on the matterhorn! Additionally the food was really good and the prices really reasonable and the service very good. Overall we had a great experience so for sure recommended!

We highly recommend this as it’s not just a meal, it’s an experience! Even though it was raining (and hailing briefly) we would do it again. The staff was accommodating. We were still able to sit outside and the staff provided us with blankets given it got chilly. The burger is a must try! We took the funicular to Sunnegga and the hike took about 15-20 mins at a very leisurely pace to Findeln. We were able to see marmots on our way down. After dinner, despite the rain we still hiked back to Zermatt which took about 1-1.5 hours. The hike is all downhill and can be steep. Reservations can be made on their website. Enjoy!

We loved this place ! We stopped in after a long hike in the alps. The deck was amazing with a perfect view of the Matterhorn. The food was fresh and delicious and the service was top notch !
