This is Russia, the ancient city of Serpukhov. We went to the Vysotsky Monastery. A sacred and incredibly beautiful place!

One of the town symbols. This old orthodox monastery is located on the hill. It's calm, cozy and nice place to relax. Great views! Here you can observe the town and Oka river. A small cafe and monastery shop are located inside. Must visit.

A very well-groomed area with chickens, roosters and turkeys walking around! Behind the monastery, an observation deck, alleys, a pond with beautiful inhabitants! I recommend visiting!

I really loved it. It was my first orthodox Church and it was great experience.

Sad that the gates of the main Chapel were closed. However the gift shop was really good with great choice of souvenirs. So overall a really beautiful spot to visit if you are in Serpukhov. You can easily get there by bus and go to the gallery that is also nearby
