I work as a tour guide, and brought my client to this hotel, the receptionist was very rude both to me and to them. He had us waiting a long time, and I realized they didn't hold my booking that was made a couple of months ago. Plus, the AC and toilets flashes didn't work. My clients left very unhappy and had a good poisoning from their breakfast. Unclean and disorganized. I'm very unsatisfied, and will never ever take my clients there again. In the town every other hotel is better than this.

As a local, my advice to you: DON'T GO!! There's better options if you look around. This hotel is probably the worse in the town. It's sad the I had to give them one start, and couldn't go any lower.

Expensive. No hot water, and the shower was just a dribble. Dinner consisted of tuna that had gone off, and lukewarm chicken. For that price, it was possibly the worst dinner I have had. Avoid if you can.

I went to the restaurant for a coffee around 2 pm they said "the bar won't be open till 6pm!! I gave it 3 stars for it's historical value and glorious past

Building is ageing and showing it, both internally and externally. Hot water occasionally and only a trickle. Food is edible but bland. Linen has probably never seen bleach. Toilet stopped functioning during my stay. Granted it is Africa, but there are better accommodation in Zouerat. Not recommended. 1 star only because there is no lower.
