The food, the atmosphere, the wine, and the service exceeded all our expectations. We genuinely enjoyed the open kitchen concept, allowing us to witness the chef's culinary wizardry firsthand. The menu displayed remarkable creativity and was executed with such precision that it left us utterly speechless. In this elegant setting, we felt genuinely welcomed, and there's no doubt we'll be returning for more!

As a Spanish young guy who loves traditional cuisine and gastronomical heritage, I've always been very skeptical of 'fine dining'. However, I have to say this restaurant surpassed all of my expectations. A combination of some simple recipes executed to perfection and a few out of the box combinations which worked incredibly well. All in a cozy and quiet atmosphere, with a humble and friendly chef and at highly reasonable prices relative to the quality, especially compared to the average restaurant in the Netherlands. Strongly recommended and will probably repeat in the future.

An absolutely perfect experience on a Saturday evening. The only choice is the set menu, consisting about a mix of seafood and vegetables. All dishes were delicious, especially the artichoke and the langoustine. The way the dishes are presented is beautiful. The setting is cosy and convivial. The service attentive. Would 100% recommend.

I have not had a dining experience THIS AMAZING for a very long time. The food was absolutely divine, and the wine pairing with that food was inspired. The two owners (the chef and the front of house) are a fab team, and the only people doing everything; yet the experience was relaxed and attention to detail was awesome. I cannot recommend this place more highly. (I wish I'd photographed every course, they were works of delicious art! But that I didn't shows I was having a too fabulous time!)

This was hands down the best meal I’ve had in my life to date. The food was prepared perfectly, and the flavor combinations worked together so well. The service was timely but not intrusive (full restaurant) and the wine pairing suggestions were spot on. The chef delivered the majority of our plates which was a nice touch that allowed for explanation of the dish and how it was made. The full restaurant did not feel too busy, the mood was mellow and pleasant and the music selection for dinner was amazing. If you’re in Amsterdam and appreciate fine dining this is a place you must visit.

Been to a lot of great restaurants in London and travelling across Europe with my wife, including many Michelin starred ones, but this was the single best fine dining experience we've had to date. Great atmosphere, amazingly executed food.

We had a really nice night again at Restaurant JA. The new dishes still have the French & Japanese signature. Really like the winelist with classic and natural wines. The hospitality of Julius & Amy is great, see you hopefully soon again!

Amazing food experience. The menu is crafted with creativity and utmost attention. Japanese inspired dishes were my favorite. Loved the yuzu cocktail too! Thank you for this incredible night and for accommodating our requests always with a smile. Will definitely recommend and come back !
