Great staff, friendly service, the canoes are in great condition, pretty affordable prices and you also get a map of the canal routes which you can take in or around the city. Definitely worth a visit if you enjoy canoeing.

I absolutely loved the experience! Went already twice and will return again! I adore everything about it! Very easy to make a reservation and owners are great and welcoming people who make the experience even better :) It is a great way to spend your free time and I also appreciate the possibility to stop in the way and get a coffee during your kayaking trip!

The attendants are great. The experience is quite a day's exercise especially when it's windy (almost all the time)

This is your chance to discover the city of Den Haag from a completly different perspective. Still in the center but luckily less busy and noisy than on the streets. The rental place is easy reachable by foot within 15-20 minutes from Den Haag Centraal (central station) and Den Haag HS. If you arrive too early than you can take a seat on the bench under the tree which also gives you some sun protection during hot sunny summer days. The team is very friendly, competent (important for amateurs) and welcomes you with a big smile. You pay next to the entrance (small table next to the stairs down to the kayaks). You will get a laminated map and can choose by yourself where you want to paddle. There is a route around the canals of the center and a route to a more natural part (I can suggest this only if you are more adventurous). Please be aware that you will also go under a lot of very low bridges and through dark and narrow tunnels. As supporters of THE OCEAN CLEANUP and CLEAR RIVER, we also brought a 20L trash bag to collect whatever kind of trash we find on the water during our ride. Surprisingly the bag was full wthin 30 minutes Mostly cans, plastic bottles, plastic packaging and a football. All in all a brillant activity and quite cheap. We paid for 2hrs (1x kayak with 2 seats) 20 EUR. Also recommending to make a reservation via the website, especially for warmer and sunny days. Some tips: You should visit the toilet before, don´t forget drinks/food and use some suncream on sunny days.

A great adventure! Owner very accommodating and friendly and suggests routes. Routes suggested take 2-4 hours and one includes a cafe stop. Great way to see The Hague and all of its wildlife too. Peaceful in the Dutch rain too!

A wonderful daytime adventure! A unique and interesting way to see Den Haag starting with the wider and deeper city canals and then paddling through quiet and peaceful park canals with the ducks, swans and storks nearby. It was very easy to make the reservation. The staff was accommodating and helpful in suggesting different routes and getting my kayak launched. The laminated map was easy to follow and corresponded to signs and markers at various intersections and crossings of the canals. I was fortunate to enjoy a beautiful sunny day on the canals. I highly recommend a kayaking trip through Den Haag. It has been years since I last kayaked but I was able to get a consistent stroke in short order. It does take effort but each tour is self-paced and you can choose the route that is best for you. Unfortunately we departed den Haag yesterday. I will go kayaking again when I next return.

Everything was easy, thought out and professional. We received a good simple map that even gives you tips about where you can get food or drinks on the way and the old town is even prettier from the boat. Very recommended!

After looking forward to a wonderful day of kayaking through the canals of the Hague, reality dawned upon us as we realised that the kayaking company did not show up at the arranged time and location. After numerous calls and messages which were all ignored, we received a fairly vague explanation about this whole situation and no compensation.

We booked a 3 hour ride. We went to the location which the email told us but there was just an old building of the company then we phoned them and they gave us the right location. I booked a two seat kajak for me and my girlfriend. They also gave us a card to navigate and a water proofed container for our smart phones. The grachten are very beautiful and we saw the japanese garden too. We couldn’t pass a tube under a house cause it was forbidden due to nesting birds. So we went all the way back and wanted to pass at a different spot. But there was a fallen tree, which looked like it was there for quite some time and not freshly fallen. So we went back again to a dock where we took our kajak out of the water and then we had to carry it for quite a while then we found the backside of the building which we couldn’t pass. There was no dock nearby and the water level was quite deep so it was a challenge to get in the boat again. We arrived later than 3 hours but that was luckily no problem, no questions asked and we handed the kajak back.
