We went on this tour on a Wednesday afternoon, met up with the group at 1:30pm outside of Markthal, Rotterdam. The 2 hours tour was in English and sweet Milou was our guide! As we walked through the city, interesting facts and stories of WW2 were shared and showed to us! The tour is rather relaxing and luckily the weather was perfect as well! Thank you Free Walking Tour Rotterdam for organising these tour and generously share it with everyone!

Today (saturday morning) we've done the tour with Michel. The tour was in English, so I will also do the review in English. His English is much better than mine. It was an interesting tour, we've visited the Rotterdam city centre highlights. Each with a different story to tell. Michel told stories about the city, the buildings, the architecture, Rotterdam history and also Dutch history. The stories he told were informative and entertaining. Not a dull moment. This was our first free walking tour, but we will definitely will join a tour in the future.

Danielle was a great guide - with deep local knowledge, quiz questions, quirky tips, delicious free snacks and funny stories she really helped explain the essence of Rotterdam. The two hours+ went super quickly. Highly recommended if visiting this beautiful city!

Mewis was an amazing guide. Showing us so many of the highlights of Rotterdam. He made the tour relatable and it also had humour. I would 100% recommend a walking tour when visiting a new city and this tour was no exception. I learned so much about Rotterdam that I wouldn't have found out had I not been on the tour led by Mewis.

Best way to see Rotterdam! We had the pleasure of spending the afternoon being led around some amazing places by Peter - he has some hilarious dark humour and is incredibly knowledgable - unquestionably a local man. Faultless tour, thank you Peter!

Joined both Rotterdam Classic Tour and South Side Tour with the local guide Nidas, it was totally worth it! Awesome introduction of the city’s history and Dutch background with a good sense of humor, the guide was well-prepared with the stories, and also prepared some printed photos to show us the pictures. The tour not only covered the landmarks and tourist attractions, but also the small details that I would have missed out if walking by myself. I didn’t expect Rotterdam has so much to offer, there are stories and stuff that could only be found with a local guide. If the tour group isn’t too large that day, you can just show up at the meeting point without reservation and the guide is very welcoming. Het was heel gezellig, dankjewel Nidas :)

I went to the tour with other 2 friends and we were amazed by the city, and by the guide of Peter which was interesting, funny and competent. Absolutely recommend!

I took the free walking tour with the lovely guid Danielle. Her explanations were informative, interesting and humorous. Danielle also gave recommendations about places of interest, things worth tasting and places to eat in. I followed some of her recommendations, and they were very nice.

Wonderfull tour, L. took us to really great places, and at least to me, unexpected as they were not among "the best things to do in Rotterdam"!

MEWIS IS A FANTASTIC GUIDE! I thoroughly enjoyed my recent Rotterdam walking tour. Mewis took us throughout Rotterdam and kept us entertained with his stories filled with insight and humor. We had a great walking tour with Mewis. He showed us around some great highlights of Rotterdam and was really knowledgeable and funny. My partner had to walk with a crutch and he was kind enough to ask if the tour was going too fast for her - and always waited for us to arrive before starting his speech.

Really nice informative walking tour through the center of Rotterdam. I have actually been living in Rotterdam for the last 20 years, but I still learned new things from Thomas, our guide. Would highly recommend!

Thomas is a very positive guy, infecting with his optimism. He really wants to make you look at this strange jumble of houses and styles from the other side.

Today! I got the pleasure to discover Rotterdam thanks to the amazing tour Peter gave me. My friend and I really enjoyed the time walking around the city hearing everything about Rotterdam's culture and history. Peter was really professional, enthusiastic, caring and funny. We were actually laughing during the whole walk. I totally recommend my experience to everyone interesting in discovering Rotterdam while having fun at the same time.

We had a fantastic walking tour with Bram and learned so much about Rotterdam. He is extremely knowledgeable and an excellent story teller with a fabulous sense of humor. This tour was our favorite part of our visit to the city. We highly recommend it!

My tour with Milou was amazing!! she was very friendly, knowledgeable and engaging. Her tour was incredibly interesting and she provided lots of great information in response to our questions. She went at a good pace (not too fast or slow) and was happy to wait up for people in the back. Highly recommend taking a tour with her! 10/10 :)
