🫕 fondue good but not extraordinary with the worst service I’ve had here in Zurich . felt in rushed having an uncomfortable atmosphere from the beginning till the end. I was there to celebrate birthday but this was a very big mistake . I do not recommend to anyone this restaurant and last time there. Hope the other people will read reviews before goes there and think 1000x times to spent money here or other restaurants !!

The atmosphere is full and beautiful. The staff were unbelievably amazing. From working to get us in without a reservation to their fast and expert table service. Their fondue is the best I've had. A really wonderful spot for any trip to Zurich!

Visited the restaurant for my birthday celebration. Arrived 20 minutes late due to traffic, but still managed to have fondue. However, the welcome was lacking, and we overheard staff discussing our tardiness. The potatoes order was insufficient for our group of four, and the service felt rushed, making us uncomfortable. When we requested the bill at 18:33 to finish our wine, the waitress was rude, insisting on an immediate bill because the table was needed in 12 minutes. It would have been better to decline our reservation than rush us. Despite spending 214 Swiss francs, we couldn't enjoy our experience. Disappointing treatment on a special occasion.

Great place for fondue. We tasted the traditional recipe (we asked potatoes in addition to bread). Delicious. Went then for fondue with truffles. Delicious too. Ended with vermicells, really special . Service is very fast and caring. Restaurant is very popular (must book), seats pretty packed and noisy, so not the best for a romantic dinner, but perfect for a fondue with friends.

If you want to eat the traditional Cheese Fondue, you need to go here it is in a small alley. You will be welcomed with open arms and service you get is perfect. Please take notice if you order cheese Fondue 🫕 you only get one pan for two person. So at the bill will be counted two. But don't forget it is more then plenty 😉. Further just enjoy the hospitality off Swiss.

When in Switzerland definitely try Fondue. My husband and I split one portion of cheese fondue, followed by meat fondue. It was wonderful. When we arrived for our 6.30 dinner. It wasn't very full but people were turned away without reservations. By 6.45, the place was packed. Our waiter was charming and very accommodating to split one portion so we could do both cheese and meat fondue. Most people did cheese only near ys.

Great spot in old town Zurich albeit being very touristic. The cheese fondue is nice, the rest of the dishes were just OK. We did not like the Fondue Bourguignonne (meat fondue). That said, the overall vibe is nice because you feel that it’s kind of traditional. The staff seemed overwhelmed so don’t expect prime service.

Nice Cozy Restaurant. We had the truffle fondue which was excellent. Just wish that there was more side options to go in the truffle cheese fondue other than bread and potatoes. Prices are per person so it adds up quick. The fondue is very large. For desert we had the apple fritters in vanilla sauce. Also very good. The restaurant was very warm and slight uncomfortable as a result.

This restaurant has a really nice location and great atmostphere in the city. Service was also good, nothing was wrong. Fondue was the best ever and you can't stop yourself to eat. Other dishes are also super delicious. Strongly recommended.

Went with a friend for truffle fondue. Our group was supposed be 4 people, but 2 of us cancelled last minute and it was not a problem. The waiters were friendly, the founde arrived quite fast. Fondue itself was really tasty. We were slightly disappointed with the amount of potatoes that we received, we were hoping to substitute the bread with potatoes but the portion was slightly too small. There was no music playing, which was not a problem for us. The only issue we had was that there was a big group of men dining right next to us. They were extremely loud, sometimes I couldn’t even hear my friend talk, even after asking them to keep it slightly more quiet. The waiter noticed that it bothered us, but they just made a small joke about ‘us wanting to cut their heads off’. It was humorous in the moment, but in the end nothing was done at the extremely loud environment. In retrospective, they could have suggested to move us to a table a bit further away, since we were only 2 and there were still available tables. That is why I leave 4 stars.

Fondue at Ledezaley is a must try at Zurich. This restaurant is extremely popular so, make reservations in advance. We got the traditional cheese fondue with some house bread. And also the veal and mushroom entree. They were prepared to perfection and I basically couldn’t stop eating despite being full. It is by no means cheap, but the quality and authenticity of the food makes it worthwhile.

We came here to try the cheese fondue and it does not disappoint. Apparently, this is a restaurant with the longest cheese fondue history in this city. The portions here are generous and the service is good. Worth a try but not recommended to order the potatoes as it can be too much.

Make sure to make a reservation here as it is always full! Came here for fondue and they did not disappoint. One thing I like about this restaurant is that they also have other options if you do not want to eat fondue (or only fondue). The place is very cramped and the staff seemed a bit overwhelmed - as it is always full, but it is worth it for the intimate fondue experience.

This place is great for cheese fondue, yet it's for autumn and winter. But if you visit Zurich or Switzerland for the first time, you should try this spot for cheese fondue. And especially the one with black truffles is amazing. The price is not crazy and the cheese fondue is 36 swiss francs.

I searched for "the best fondue in Zurich" and this place came up. I do agree with google on that. It was my first time trying fondue and the experience was more than great. The fondue itself was phenomenal, the staff were more than happy to explain how it's eaten, and even show us the "best part of the pot" at the end. All in all it was great, I highly recommend it.

Food was good. Yes, they tried to overcharge us for fondue, which I understand why. The server should be a little more vocal about explaining how it works, although we are in Zurich and people can afford it so I get it. I understand too why servers where so busy, taking care of 30 plus people per server, a lot of work but part of experience !

My family wanted to try fondue. It was decent... I think someone who loves lots of cheese will probably enjoy this. French fries looked and tasted like the cheap frozen kind you make sure never to buy again from the grocery store. The server was not very friendly. We did not have a reservation which I would recommend.

We experienced a friday dinner in this authentic vaudois restaurant specializing in chesse fondue. Warning: it is LOUD inside. Le Dézaley’s cheese fondue is one of the best in Zurich, simply delicious and reasonably priced. The meat fondue (fondue chinose) is not bad either, though you may get unlucky and the meat could be a little tough. The dried meat and bone marrow soup appetizers were very simple, though very delicious. The atmosphere and service are that of a typical tavern: quick and impersonal service in a loud, crowded cellar. While the prices are quite low for Zurich and the quick service and fondue are high points for those looking for a quick Swiss meal, the extremely loud roms filled with humid, stale air smelling of chesse is not for everyone, especially those looking for a calm or romantic dinner.

The service was excellent. We get the staff for the recommendation. He introduced cheese and beef fondue for 8 of us. The food is delicious and we all enjoy it much. Local said this the best restaurant for cheese fondue in Zurich.

We had the house fondue and the truffle fondue with the air dried meat board and a large mixed salad. The food was very nice. Our waiter was extremely nice and cheerful. We had the panne cotta and the chocolate mousse for dessert. Those were exceptional. Overall very good meal.

Amazing ambience. Feels super cozy, and like you're in a warm cave! Very good food - esp. the soups and fondue. I had a wonderful waitstaff during my visit. The fondue is definitely top 5 in Zürich. Reservation is highly recommended as the place can get quite full.

Cheese fondue was fantastic! Definitely recommend one per person if you like cheese! Stay away from the beef fondue... it comes out raw so it is basically boil your own steak for $35. Would not do again. Also be sure to have a table that is decent size two fondue's does not fit on the small tables.

They serve an amazing cheese fondue. The restaurant has a traditional atmosphere. Waiters are super professional and friendly. However the prices are extremely high. We paid 30euro per person for fondue,a small bottle of water is 6.5 euro and the dessert are around 18-20 euro. With a house wine we paid 320 euro for 4 people.

Pros- gluten free toast for fondue!! The server was very nice and personable. The building was pretty. Cons- the Rosti was really oily. I think this is great if you want to have fondue in Switzerland, especially if you are gluten free! (They even gave me my own pot so there wouldn’t be any cross contamination)

Great staff, tasty Fondue, reasonable prices. If you want an amazing Swiss dinner in Zurich, definitely come here! P.S. if you come here for a late lunch (4.30pm) there’s almost none and you have the place just for you!

We asked hotel staff for a recommendation for dinner at a cafe where locals would eat. Unfortunately, the food was average and the wait staff was inappropriate. In regards to the food, while the escargot and salad was delicious-these items are hard to get wrong-the main dishes were lack luster in taste and forgettable. The trout was beautifully presented, yet pedestrian at best. To end the lackluster meal, the waitress asked if we wanted to tip vs allowing us to add the tip ourselves. We tend to be generous even when in a country that doesn’t expect tipping. We found this rude to say the least.

It's a gem. Big place nestled in a quiet alley, but make sure you have reservations because they're very popular. Went there twice in a row and both times were packed but they are not extremely touristy despite the location. It totally makes sense because their food is THAT good. They're serving serving traditional Swiss dishes like fondue & herb sausages (which are amazing). The place is charming and the staff is very cheerful. Their fondue is very good and not as "heavy", you can see there's a complex depth of flavors working their magic. The veal pieces are cooked to perfection and the mushroom sauce is to die for, so I mopped the plate with the amazing bread they serve. It's not the cheapest meal you'll have but I think the price is pretty reasonable.

The meat of the Fondue Bourguignonne was really good and the fries as well. As everybody is eating differend kinds of Fondues I wouldn't bring a freshly washed coat. The wardrobe is literally in the restaurant 😁. It's a place rather for groups than for a quiet tête-à-tête. The cheese fondue I can recommend as well.

Amazing place for the best fondue experience. The attention is very good, Gaia was our waitress and she made sure everything was perfect in our table. We ordered three fondues (meat, classic cheese and truffles), and I can highly recommend the truffle one, really out of this world. For dessert the Toblerone mousse for a complete Swiss experience.

During this week I have dedicated myself to trying several restaurants that serve fondue and this restaurant definitely has no comparison with any, it is THE best fondue I have ever tried in my life. The restaurant is beautiful, the food, wine and desserts are delicious and it has excellent service, especially from Marie
