The staff was very kind and friendly. The food was also very delicious. The bagle with grains was very tasty. Hope the sandwich and the bagle was served with some side dish like a little salad or potatoes, then it will be perfect.

We were looking for a breakfast diner in Zürich, and this was one of the first places that popped up😍The English breakfast caught my eye for sure. And it definitely lived up to our expectations. Amazing service. Fun atmosphere. Totally made our Sunday🥰🥂🥰

Incredibly disappointing omelette which was empty, bacon covered with burnt fat. Far below the level even of my modest culinary skills. Mediocre coffee. This earned them one solitary star. Beautifully complemented by a coughing, spluttering smoker to my right wafting smoke at me whilst I ate. Lovely.

Great food and extremely friendly staff! We were made very welcome by the staff, and they surely made our Sunday morning! We came for brunch and we were surprised by the great selection of food, it’s exactly what you’d wish for! From bagels with any kind of desired topping to eggs under any form, their food is so great! Portions were large as well so come hungry! I highly recommend the Baena Omelette, which has Chorizo and pepperoni, and has the perfect amount of spicy so that you can enjoy eating it. Here I have also had my first sweet omelette! It’s entirely gluten free and it came with bananas and chocolate sauce, I was pleasantly surprised to try that. If you wanna go to probably the best brunch place in Zurich, make sure to visit this one!!

Cozy, home made, and above all: yummy! Very good for a brunch. Book in advance especially in winter. I can only recommend.

Great choice for breakfast, especially if you like english breakfast. They don't offer the traditional Swiss breakfast croissant and jam, but they have birchermuesli. I highly recommend the "Full English" and the "Sweet French toast".

We had a nice, laid-back time. Friendly staff, good prices... but when I go out for brunch, I want to eat food that has a lil' something extra. Here, I would have preferred making that dish and coffee at home. If you're the kind of person to go out for brunch because you don't feel like cooking yourself, and want to keep it affordable, this will be a wonderful fit for you! It just wasn't for me.

The food is quite okay and it's nice that they take care of extra wishes. It's not really a brunch though. It's an a la carte menu and, in my opinion, even for Zurich ridiculously expensive. Also, the plates are immensely big, which doesn't make a lot of sense because they are never really full, so smaller plates would mean more space on the table. But that's again, my opinion. Overall the experience was okay, but I'm not sure if I would go again

My friend and I have alate breakfast here a few weeks ago. The service was lovely and the food was pleasant, just what we needed. I mistakenly dropped some important documents without noticing when I was there. The staff were so incredibly helpful in locating it and keeping it safe until I could return. They are kind and generous people I will never forget. Truly appreciate it, thank you.

Super friendly place with a lovely and varied brunch menu. Features a lot of breakfast classics that are well prepared with good ingredients. It’s great for a casual Sunday breakfast or brunch. If you’re more than two people definitely recommended to reserve, otherwise it’s also a nice option to wait at the coffee bar till a table frees up.

Really good and reasonable priced breakfast. We stayed in Zurich but had trouble finding a “cheap” breakfast place. Until we came across Bubbles. Delicious scrambled eggs, nice coffee, good prices and really friendly staff.

I’m so impressed by this place! It’s been ages since I met staff that was *this* friendly and helpful and nice and they made everything about my Sunday morning perfect. Great English speakers also. When it comes to the food, they have a good variety of extremely tasty meals (if you can eat medium spiced food, go for the Baena omlette!). Will definitely come back here and totally recommend it.

Average is an overstatement. This place has nothing that gets even close to a proper brunch. Omelettes are below average, meat super salty. Don’t recommend it

First time here was great. I was promptly greeted and my COVID certificate checked. Sat down in the cosy dining area. I came for the cheesecake and was told they had a special pumpkin flavor (as pictured). I took one bite and it put a smile on my face immediately. A mix between cheesecake and pumpkin pie with the crunchy seeds on top is just lovely. Thank you! Will have to come back to try more flavors. Update! December 18, 2021. Tried the original cheesecake flavor and WOW! So so so yummy. Can’t wait to try more :) Update: We have moved from Zurich :( and we miss this place so much! Haven’t found any cheesecake near the level of bubbles deliciousness.

We have been here a couple of times and really enjoyed lunch before. Today we went for breakfast and it was disgusting. Way too much cheese on everything causing our plates to drip in grease. The waitress was nice, but when you get the news from the kitchen that's how it's suppose to be, you know it's time to not come back again. Especially when ordering the 'uitsmijter', a typical Dutch dish. I ordered it with bacon, which normally means the ham is replaced by crunchy baked bacon. This was not the case, the bacon was awful and the uitsmijter was covered in a thick layer of cheese. So I even paid extra. Overall a very bad experience. The waitress apologised, but clearly not in the name of the chef, who doesn't seem to realise that there is a table with 5 dutchies. When you don't finish your plate and provide this feedback, the absolute minimum a place can do, next to apologising, is offering a coffee on the house or a discount. That did not happen. Sorry, we liked your food and service and have been at your place multiple times, but with this poor quality and lack of customer focus, we'll bring our money somewhere else and will not recommend others to visit your restaurant. No more Bubbles for us.

LOVED the food here! The owner came out and explained everything on the menu to us. Great mix of English and Swiss food, made with tons of love. The owner treated our huge group super well. Loved it!

Had a hearty lunch at Bubbles. Place is packed on a Sunday with the usual brunch crowd. Bubbles serves a good selection for big breakfast eaters but also for those who just need enough to power the day. The Omelette Baena is a unique spicy twist to the usual omelette. It's packed with chorizo, chili, and aubergine, drizzled with some spicy sauce. It comes with slices of toast. Make sure you have a glass of water close by.

Great cosy place in the heart of Zurich. Great food for brunch, English or Swiss style breakfast. Very recommended.

There are not many options and the service is not so good. We ordered cafe macchiato but got some milk coffee in small glasses. The French toast portion was very small and lacked quality. The tomatoes in the Omelette with onion and tomato were raw.

We have recently moved to Zurich and are on the lookout for good brunch options, and were pleased to discover Bubbles, a great cafe with friendly staff, which served a delicious brunch. We will definitely be back!

Yummy selection for brunch. Owner/manager was great. Very friendly, spoke English and attentive. Far better service than you often get in Switzerland. Prices reasonable for Zürich.

The menu might seem a bit basic but the food tastes amazing! Ordered scrambled eggs with mushrooms and they were very very good. It’s on a small side street so the outdoor seating is quiet and when the weather is good it’s a very good atmosphere. All in all, very good experience, would do it again.
