Staff is friendly, comfy bed and overall is clean. Except walking sound from top level can be heard. Price and stay is good. If coming back again will be staying same hotel. Love the balcony😍

I am just replying to the allegations put on the customer by you. If you think i am not “real” you just concluded in your fairy tail world that if a customer requested for an early checkin, he could not book for a wrong date. I never planned to be in Switzerland on the dates i book and i have proof for the same but instead you give petty excuses that if i requested for an early checkin how can i book for a wrong date. My request was simple, I just wanted a no show booking which I unintentionally did for a wrong date to be rescheduled on a different date. Anyone from the hotel industry would listen and provide a resolution to book on a different date given that the customers intentions are good. The only other thing I asked you was an escalation to your manager or owner to which you replied that there is no escalation metrix in a rude way. Is the receptionist the the only person in your organisation? Every customer has the right to talk to the manger of the hotel and if you deny to do so I am sorry I will only call that as a Bad Experience and a bad customer care. If you think that is not HONEST, I can’t help it but this was the thing which made me feel if I am not talking to a hospitable organisation and your replies in the reviews I posted reflect the same. If you just want to fund your hotel my keeping my hard earned money, that is fine with me too but you should have allowed me to talk to the manger once.

For a short practical visit this hotel is optimum. Everything functions and well. Very well thought of within the concept of lack of space. Quiet neighborhood for a good sleep. Comfortable bed pillow. Multiple plugs (wierd shaped socket but immediately got converter from very good service) shower flush hot water heating exhaust aeration etc nothing mafunctions. Unless you're there for longer leisure ir have a complicated wardrobe - go for it. Breakfast and service like everything is functional and good. At walking distance from city center haut bahnhof and lake. So if you need to wind down or go for a stretch - weather permitting - there's plenty at 👌

I arrived late on a Saturday evening. The manager kept the lobby open until I got there. Woke up Sunday morning to the bells from the church a short distance away -- a very European experience. The hotel was clean and orderly, in a quiet area a bit outside of the city center, but still accessible by transit or on foot. Pleasant experience all around.

The hotel is located in a nice district, easily accessible. I didn't eat at the hotel, so no comments there, but there are many nice restaurants nearby. The room was very nice and cosy. I had a single room with a shared bathroom. The bathroom was very clean. I had a nice view from my room's balcony. Also the most important thing is the staff! They are super nice and friendly. Also very helpful, do not hesitate to ask them questions if you need help. They have many nice suggestions on where to go on what to see.

There is all good to talk about this place. Stayed in a single bed private bathroom room. Truly supportive in terms of guiding the tourists. It is in a very calm location away from the busy streets. Walkable to every major part of zurich. I literally walked and visited zurich from this hotel. Morning breakfast is also really nice with great hospitality. The receptionists were kind and helpful too.

Room was fine. I was robbed and got my cell phone (and $200+ in cash) stolen when trying to enter the hotel. There was no one at the hotel front desk at night, and since my flight got delayed, no one was answering my ringing doorbell. A group of men surrounded me and grabbed my phone away. If you anticipate that you would arrive after 11pm, make sure to notify the hotel beforehand. But in reality the hotel should have a means to easily communicate with a staff from the outside, and there should be someone on guard.

Shared bathroom separate from the toilet is super clean. Room given was comfortable and given a basin though a little noisy. Water in a jug was given with 2 small glass in the room. Receptionist very friendly and has sense of humour. To reach the hotel best way to take train to Zurich Wiedikon;just 1 stop from Zurich main station. Less than 5 mins smooth walkway to the hotel easily located at the junction. In front of the hotel is a little fountain. Nice gesture in allowing us to leave the luggage after our check out.

This is located at the perfect location in Zurich. It is very close to the city center and a couple of tram stations are at walkable distance, also this hotel is surrounded by myriads of restaurants where lot of eating options are available. Though no Indian restaurant is present nearby. The rooms are very spacious and they are maintained neat and clean. The only downside that I found here is you have to use shared bathrooms which might be occupied during peak tourist seasons when the hotel is full, though we didn't face any issues because of these during our stay. I would recommend booking this restaurant in advance at least 2 months ago to get reasonable rates.

The hotel is clean and with very good access, you are 10 minutes away from the central station on foot. There are restaurants around the hotel. The rooms are cleaned every day, the lighting and size of the room is good. But the room does not have air conditioning, safety deposit box, hair dryer, mini bar and tea maker. One point that is annoying is the construction next to the hotel. I was lucky to be here on the weekend and the construction work was closed until Monday. Unfortunately, my room was right next to this place and the noise is very annoying. I also requested to change the room, which was not possible because all the single rooms were full.

A cosy and elegant hotel. It is not a 5 star high end hotel but you can feel the touch of a style in every aspect. Clean and cosy room, even the shared bathroom (which was the biggest concern) was satisfactory. Breakfast was awesome. We also appreciate super kind and nice staffs. It was a wonderful stay!

I had a wonderful stay at this cosy hotel. The staff was very accommodating, helping me with all questions I had. I had booked one of the rooms with a shared toilet and shower room, and was extremely satisfied with the cleanliness and hygiene in the shared rooms. The bedroom was also nice, clean and spacious.

Hotel was super clean, rooms were big and spacious, WiFi was pretty strong. Shared bathrooms were extremely clean and not busy so it was not an issue. Location was a bit away from the Aldstadt but still walkable. Pretty good for the price paid. All the staff were very polite and nice except the one Indian guy at the front desk - he gave me wrong instructions for choosing the currency on the payment terminal when paying (it charged me in USD instead of CHF even though I clearly stated I wanted to be charged in CHF) and then started arguing with me about it instead of fixing the mistake. The guy was not only totally clueless but downright rude and does not deserve to be working there!

Even though the bathroom and shower are shared I never had to wait to use them, very clean and neat, the rooms are nice, staff is friendly, one of the cheapest options in Zurich but not at all low quality

Well..convenient to everywhere. Good location. Rooms are clean and lovely. Only the floor of the rooms is a little bit annoying. Overall, good.

Expensive for what it offers. Shared bathroom and just one per floor, super small elevator, no room for 2 with suitcases, no coffee or tea at rooms incluided. This is a hostel not a hotel. Is more like an expensive backpackers hostel. We where lucky to be welcoming for one lady, however next day desk service not great.

Great/cheap place to stay as a solo traveller. I stayed in a single room with shared bathroom. Both my room and bathrooms were very clean. Room was comfortable, no aircon, but there is a fan provided. There was a sink in the room which was great. Reception staff all very lovely. About a 15 minute walk from the main train station, other train/tram stops near accomodation.

The location of this hotel is good, about 15 minutes walk to Zurich HB train station. The room feels good, but the bathroom is public. The service was ok, and the staff wiped off some change when I paid.

Gotts give 5 stars because of the staff here. Every single one of them goes out of their way to make you feel welcomed and have everything you need. They gave us recomendations, some chocolate and great jokes too! Room is clean and as expected, and there is a breakfast option that looks good. Would totally recomend

For undr $90 a night in Zurich, the hotel was a pretty good deal. It is located in the heart of Zurich with good access to the Airport and about 10 minute walk to Lake Zurich. The neighborhood its in is also good. Hotel room was modern and clean and great for 1 person. Bathrooms were also really clean and easy to access. Only 2 cons are that the tv remote was very insensitive and there's no air conditioning

After staying in dozens of hotels during my visits to Zurich over the past 15 years, this one finally feels like coming back to (which I did already twice since my first visit a week ago). Friendly and personal reception, nice traditional style, tasty breakfast (though the service there could brighten up a little). Merci!

Hotel is good. Close to tram/metro and close to the city center (only 4-5 trams stop). Highly recommended for a stay. The room is convenient and comfort enough). The shared bathroom and toilet is very clean which you can use without worrying about hygiene.

Nice, quite and clean

Our room was on the third floor accessible with a small lift. The room is basic and clean. There was a balcony with the room. Quite a good view of the street from the balcony. Breakfast was basic but good. I love the croissant. Walkable to the central train station, but not near. But the city train stop is nearby which we used to go everywhere.

Quiet and centrally located. I stayed here for a total of 3 weeks while looking for an apartment in Zurich which is a long term and uncertain process. Besides the great value, I made some friends with the staff who are very cordial and hospitable. My single bed room with attached bath was cozy. But the staff kept it super clean. After I found an apartment and before starting the lease, I wanted to travel. The hotel was willing to store my extra luggage and I found it just as I left it on my return. I'd highly recommend this hotel for anyone on a budget, or just looking for a friendly atmosphere rather than a cold and formal one in bigger hotels. The optional, all you can eat breakfast is good value for filling up with mostly cold items for the day. Lots of interesting people pass by that restaurant.

This is the perfect hotel. Perfect location short walking distance to city center, all for an incredible price. Extremely clean. Very nice and helpful staff. Has everything you could possibly need and is really well located next to restaurants and a 4 minute walk to a grocery store. It does not have AC but they provide you a fan that is perfect and you can open the windows and there is a small balcony. I couldn’t be happier or more comfortable staying here!

Great no frills hotel for a short stay in Zurich. The rooms are small but very clean and well laid out. WC and showers are shared on the floor but were very clean as well. There is no A/C but you can open the windows and they provided a fan, which made the night relatively comfortable despite outside temperature staying well over 20 C. The people are nice, friendly, and efficient. For the price, and given the location, there is really nothing to complain about!

We loved the room at Hotel St Georges. We had a lovely balcony and the room was well designed. Loved the windows too. Service was helpful.

Given how expensive Switzerland can be, it can do quite the damage on your wallet. Hotel St. Georges is ideal for the budget traveller. For 2 nights with breakfast both days it costed almost 300 CAD, which is fantastic considering many of the other lodging options in the area. In District 1, which I call "the island," that's where the prices skyrocket. Located just to the west and across the river from District 1, Hotel St. Georges is still within walking distance from many local venues. The man at reception is a swell guy; I needed an adapter for my charger and I got it free of charge and without hassle. Balcony view was fantastic as well. I'll probably return to Zurich at some point so this place will still be at the top of my mind for where I'll stay!

I stayed for one night and paid for breakfast. It was definitely was my moneys worth. It is what I paid for and the staff were very kind and helpful. When I arrived early they held my carry-on as I went out and waited till 2 pm to check in. Room was simple for an individual. Accessibility for wheelchair users might be tight in the elevator but for the room it was very accessible. They can suit your needs just make sure to leave a special request:) thank you!

I spent 2 nights here and it was a pleasant stay. The room was clean and decent-sized. The bathrooms were shared but were always very clean and I was very impressed by that. The staff was also friendly and helpful. The location is great as it's less than 10 mins of walk away from a train station and some tram stops. It is also close to many amenities, city centre and is in a quiet neighbourhood. The elevator is tiny (only fit 1 person & 1 large and small suitcases) and takes a while to come but works fine!

Hotel St-George is a cute and cozy hotel in a quiet residential square with restaurants full of locals. Sitting on the balcony looking at people going about their day provided a different view of Zurich. The staff were friendly, the shared bathrooms were always clean and available. This was extremely good value for money and I would stay again next time I am in Zurich.

I highly recommend this hotel. The staff is very professional and welcoming. The value for money is excellent and the breakfast is very good. It is clean, quiet and well located. I look forward to returning!

This sweet hotel is very centrally located. 15 minutes from the train station, restaurants and sights. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Close to very good restaurants too. Every thing was very clean.
