Our stay at Glockenhof was exceptional! My wife and I enjoy the quality of the spaces, which was much higher than similarly priced hotels throughout Europe. Our two kids enjoyed their room, which was well curated for young children.

A great location, close to the main pedestrian areas, but not in the middle of them. The breakfast is very good, the service was surprisingly good, and the place overall feels cozy. The common areas are a touch beaten up, but overall just fine.

We found the Glockenhof to be the perfect hotel from which to explore Zurich! We were right in the middle of town, making exploring easy. Our two boys LOVED the family room with the bunk beds; we were surprised by how many toys, activities, and child accommodations, like a stool in the bathroom, were provided in the the room. It was wonderful! Our only complaint was that the pillows were very uncomfortable.

This is an excellent hotel, very well placed in the centre of Zurich, a short walk or tram journey from the railway station. The reception staff are very helpful and professional. My room was very comfortable and the breakfast more than sufficient to see me through a busy day of sightseeing and exercise. The associated bar, restaurant and interior patio area provided great spaces to socialise in the evening. My evening meal at the restaurant was delicious and beautifully cooked. I stayed for 3 nights.

This hotel was recommended by a friend that has stayed there many times. It met all of our expectations. It was clean and very pleasant. The staff was amazing, professional, kind, and accommodating. I would highly recommend it.

The hotel is at the center of Zurich and is near to the Airport (about 20 minutes). Everything is a walking distance from it: train station, grocery store (coop), shopping mall and Zurich Down Town. Staff are very friendly, rooms are spacious enough and the Wi-Fi speed is good. The breakfast was fairly good with some varieties. They can make you eggs as per your request. There is a nice coffee shop next to the reception. They allow food delivery and allow them to come to your room (after getting permission from you). Beds are comfy and rooms are clean.

The Hotel Glockenhof radiates customer care. The staff is helpful and pleasant. The hotel offers an option I have never seen: Connecting rooms. One with a king bed for parents. The second for children with bunk beds, childrens' toys and tables, pint sized bathrobes and bathtoys. The price? Not much more than the price of a single king. I would urge anyone traveling with children to stay there. And its a 5 minute walk from the central train station and across the street from a fabulous vegetarian restaurant. And breakfast is included with the room! I recommend the hotel without qualification.

Wonderful hotel. Great service and food. The 4 rating for our room is because we had a very noisy air conditioner. We had to keep it off at night, made our room very warm, Everything else was great!

I would highly recommend Glockenhof to anyone travelling with small children. We booked a family room, which turned out to be two connecting rooms. One of the rooms was set up beautifully for the children with bunk beds and some toys. Even the bathroom was set up with baby toilet seat and a foot stool. I had to explain to my children that not all hotels are like this! Staff are all so helpful and kind. Really well done, Glockenhof!

Worst service. If you’re a tourist don’t come here because your experience will be bad. The receptionists at the desk are not helpful at all. I was checked in late on my first day of arrival and is not given my right to check out as late. The water shower changes temperature from your preferred temperature to super hot suddenly and the TV did not work. Totally unfair treatment and misguidance as they promise you late check out and then they are not up to the promise. When I tried to say that it is my right to checkout as late they said rooms are full and we will only give you half an hour extra while I waited for more. When I tried to discuss this, another receptionist jumped in the conversation and tried to teach me what is my right obtain, he kept saying “this is not how it works” and didn’t know what he was saying. I thought this was a good hotel and guest satisfaction and experience are important to the hotel. but turns out that’s not really the case and it’s ok with them to take your rights. Don’t book here if you want fair treatment.

The staff was excellent. Great breakfast buffet. Easy walk to the lake, train station and upscale shopping. Our favorite feature was the garden restaurant. Look forward to a return visit.

The location was perfect near to the most famous street for shopping. The staff were professionals and supportive and the rooms were clean and comfortable. I wouldn’t hesitate to book here again next visit .

Very good and friendly service. The cleaning staff took our second card from the room for no reason. Pictures on booking looks much better than in reality. Bathroom entrance was just a glass with a top and bottom part fully visible thru. If you would stay with your friend here you could see him fully naked in the shower. Breakfast was limited due to covid and lack of customers but very delicious.

Excellent location, quiet place and classy interaction

We stayed at the Glockenhof for 2 days in May 2022 during our summer trip to Switzerland. The hotel is very conveniently located and we could reach the hotel from the train station quite easily. The staff at the reception were very approachable and the check in and check out process was very smooth. I had booked their Family room with play area which I found only on their website. It was perfect for our family of 4. The room is basically two connecting rooms with one room for customised for kids. The rooms were perfect and the kids room was very well thought through with a triple bunk bed, tent, toys and boardgames to keep the kids engaged. The bathrooms were also very child friendly with bath toys. The breakfast experience though was so-so. They were short on staff and our eggs to order and coffee were missed and we had to remind them more than once and the spread left us wanting. But that's just nit picking in what was otherwise a very good stay in Zurich.

Friendly staff. Room was comfortable. The family room was great for the kids. They loved having their own space, toys and games. The TV in their room didn't work properly but we didn't even bother to call it in as they were so entertained with the tents and other items in the room. The location was perfect, walking distance to stores and across the street from a food market.

We stayed 3 nights and were very pleased with all aspects of our stay. We especially enjoyed the breakfasts, the location being easy walking distance to Old Town, shopping and the main train station. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful.

Its an amazing hotel to stay in. It is a great place in a great location. Everything you need is around you. The room is amazing well designed with balcony. I enjoyed staying in this hotel. Thanks to Manuola and Ahmad Sha in the reception. Great and helpful people. They helped me and answered all my questions.. The breakfast buffet is amazing with good variety of food in which you can sit inside or outdoor in the garden. I high recommend this hotel to everyone, it got everything you need in a hotel.

My wife and I stayed at the Glockenhof for 3 nights at the end of our honeymoon. We loved the hotel. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was a really nice size and very comfortable. The location is unbeatable. We highly recommend it.

We loved everything about this hotel. It's in a great location; we walked everywhere. The room was very modern, spacious, and clean. The staff was excellent and very friendly. They even packed us some meals to take with us for our early morning departure. Would definitely stay here again.

Excellent hotel in the heart of Zurich. Perfect location, very comfortable family rooms with play area for kids. Nice breakfast. We passed before noon and were happy to know that we can check in so early. If you ask for improvements, that would be : more toiletries (hair conditioner, toothpaste) and more pillows in the room (strangely, we had 3).

Check-in counter staff was friendly and efficient. Peter, waiter in the restaurant was friendly and provided good service during our dinner. Room was clean and spacious. We were allocated a room facing inside the hotel with a terrace balcony and hence it was quiet. Overall, it was a fantastic stay at Glockenhof with excellent service and a short walk to shopping street.

I only stayed for one night prior to my flight home but I wish I could have stayed longer! The hotel itself is just a short 5-10 minute walk from the train station and the Limmat riverfront which made travel and exploring Old Town a breeze! The room was spotless, cozy, and had great high-tech and aesthetic features! The staff was also very warm, welcoming, and helpful which was much appreciated as a solo female traveler with limited German proficiency!! Highly recommend if you're going to be in Zurich, even for a short while!

We loved our time at Hotel Glockenhof. The staff was courteous and knowledgeable, the rooms were super nice, and the location was unbeatable. We will definitely stay there again when we return to Zurich.

Friendly and comfortable hotel. High standard of cleanliness. One of the things I appreciated was to be able to control the air-conditioning. The most valuable asset of this hotel is its staff. The staff at Glockenhof in the hotel and restaurant work very hard satisfy allthe expectations of their guests. A very special thank to Peter in the restaurant who has a remarkable ability ofgood sense of humour, a human touch, knowing how to overcome potentially awkward situations. It is not easy to travel alone, not having an opportunity to share your impressions and thoughts with anyone. It is why I treasured every little chat we had around the table. .
