I have wanted to try this plant based restaurant for a while and was pretty exited when I finally had the chance to visit. I knew that there would be a set menu (3, 4 or 5 courses) and that it would probably come with a hefty price tag. I personnaly enjoyed all the courses, I thought they were tasty and well portioned, so that you don't leave hungry. Also my non veg friends enjoyed it, but they seemed to be a bit underwelmed with some courses, especially the truffle, that had almost no flavor. The service was ok, they were friendly, but lacked a bit of the professionalism, that we know from other fine dining restaurants. What I find a bit irritating is the fact that you are not presented with a written menu and therefor have no idea about prices. So in the end, we were kind of shocked when the bill came. Again, I'm pretty sure all the food and drinks we received were of great quality, but we didn't feel the 'fireworks' and, compared to other fine dining restaurants, we felt that this was rather overpriced.

Maybe the best restaurant in Zürich?! At least the best and most interesting food combination of flavours, textures! The service is super friendly and we’ll informed. All food is made and sourced locally (also all organically?) - they received a green star. Very much recommended overall!

What a dinner. KLE gives you a full on experience on high class vegan dishes without making too much of a fuss out of them - which works perfectly well since the focus is completely put on the interaction of flavours. My absolute highlights were the roasted cabbage and the (exploded) carrot cake. But I recommend to just try everything. The lovely staff was highly professional, I had the feeling I was sitting in someone's home for a dinner. Can't wait to go back and try the other dishes.

Good and modern restaurant with some innovative vegan dishes, but for sure not anyone can afford a meal of three small plates for around 90chf and up to 120 chf for 5 small plates; therefore, no option for most families. My partner and I visited KLE for dinner on a Friday evening and the experience has been positive. We took the 4 course surprise menu. 2 out 4 (pasta with pesto & ice-cream dessert) were really good, the other two were ok but definitely nothing memorable. The service was friendly and efficient, and the premises looked cosy. The main downside is that portions are not too big which is quite common among Michelin-star restaurants, and prices are relatively high. The best part, however, is that everything is vegan which is amazing. We certainly enjoyed dining at KLE and would recommend this restaurant, however there are definitely better places in Zurich.

Finally had the chance to visit Kle. The staff is very engaged and knowledgeable. You can see the passion behind the service execution We got the 3 course surprise. The first course with the turnip and spicy chili was mind blowing. The second course with the potato using seitan using this texture of fat created a bacon flavor that made it difficult to believe it was vegan and very rich. For dessert they brought my partner and I two different ones which was lovely to taste between the two of us.

Lovely vegan casual fine dining restaurant run by a promising chef and team. Here is what I can add: The dining room feels quite warm and welcoming with that typical Wiedikon charme. So you´re in for a rather casual, laid back meal. The service team did a great job to keep up the nice atmosphere. No a la carte, just one menu with the option to go for three up to five courses. We opted for four. First up some soft pillow bread with mezze style dipping sauces, which were all pretty lovely. First course was a roasted slice of kohlrabi atop of a rich sauce that incorporated nori seaweed among other ingredients. That was an outstanding dish. Carrots with tarragon sauce were well prepared but the carrots lacked flavour. Last savoury dish of BBQ sauce smothered mushroom with several condiments was another highpoint of the menu. The wine list has some nice selected bottles, but is overall a bit too short. Mark ups seem to be roughly three times over retail, which is fair enough in Zurich but seems a bit steep given the rather mundane selection. Nevertheless a bottle of easy white Burgundy made it to our table. Overall, this is a very nice place for a casual yet refined dinner. For me this is a clear contestant for a first Michelin star in the upcoming guide for Switzerland.

We need more of these restaurants in the world. KLE is playing low profile while offering a fantastic and modern fine dining experience. We enjoyed a multi course tasting menu, needless to say completely vegan, with wine pairing. Creative dishes, successfully mixing flavours traditionally from far cultures. Worth a mention their "lime mayonnaise", hard to find anywhere else. Friendly and down to earth approach yet perfect service. I will be back, surely!

Great restaurant with friendly staff and amazing food. Had the four course menu which was great! We’ll definitely come back! The only drawback was the dessert. I’m not the fan of sweet desserts and was asking for an alternative to the cake like fruits or a sorbet. I got thai noodles which didn’t suit at all - given that I wasn’t looking for another main. So although I appreciate, that they only offer a limited menu, two dessert options would be amazing!

I just love Kle for their creative plant based dishes. Dinner is awesome but don’t miss our their weekend brunches either.

I really enjoy the entire meal and I love the different spices that highlights all the plant-based dishes that was offered. The pillow bread is a must have as a starter for everyone to go with the pickles, they really open up your appetite and make you crave for more food. I am happy to finally be able to go to restaurants again, I look forward to coming back here again to try out the rest of the dishes.

We enjoyed a great dinner for four at the new KLE restaurant. Zizi (the chef) composed a menu of very creative sharing dishes. The food was on point and we were blown away by the variety and fine balance of tastes that this lady managed to create from predominantly plant-based and healthy ingredients :) We were so absorbed in the moment, that we only managed to make a picture of the (amazing!) dessert :p Looking forward to repeat this one!

Excellent vegetarian food, it’s as tasty as when you cook with protein. The mushroom sandwich has an incredible smokey taste. My favorite was the bagels! For 2 people, I recommend to order 3 mains plate to share and 1 dessert to share. The pancake as dessert was huge but very good! You can choose from several sauve for the pancake. I totally recommend this place !

Plant based dishes and the dishes really gives you the Michelin star wow effect/experience for the contrast of tastes, flavours. The staff are friendly and explained the dishes well. The wine and mock tail pairings were great. The restaurant were pet friendly too. Will definitely go again!

I give a 4/5 simply because the quality/price ratio is not really deserving of a 5. The food is great and all vegan, but I think there are other restaurants offering a similar offering and keeping the price lower. The service is great but maybe a bit too much of "have fun, enjoy and we will make your day better". I personally prefer a more discrete and just good service rather than this pampering attitude. Overall great but I doubt I'd come back to be honest.

The food is so utterly excellent, that it is irrelevant if you are *not* vegan/vegetarian... go here anyway... you will not be disappointed. The service was fabulous. Knowledgeable, friendly and multi-lingual staff were polite, discreet and helpful. The decor is simple, but up-market enough for a 'date' and the acoustics are excellent even when the place is full. I can't wait to go back there. On a private note, I had captivating company, but that probably isn't going to help anybody reading this review.

We had a generally positive experience at Kle. However, we expected more from the “degustation menu” (especially at 84 chf/person). The starters were tasty, but the portions small, and the main dish (beet risotto) was too sour, with every other flavor lost to the sourness. Overall we expected a bit more creativity...and more quantity... at least there was a lot of nice bread! :) Also we were not asked if we enjoyed the menu... I think this would have shown interest from the side of the stuff (who otherwise was friendly).
