We were surprised to find this amazing restaurant while wondering around Alkmaar. Everything is perfect - the decor, the food, the service. All the details are spot on for great foodie experience.

So happy we ate here for lunch. The chai latte was prefect on a cold day. I had the eggs Benedict and it was very tasty. Beautiful decor and great ambiance. Highly recommend this place and the staff is very friendly.

Very chilled and smooth atmosphere. Staff was quick in reaction and polite and clear in answering questions. Good selection of wine, for a decent price. Large menu to choose from, with a big scale of meat and veggie options. The staff in the kitchen made the difference for us. Where a normal lunchroom wouldn't bother to remark what they serve, the chef from the kitchen explained in detail what was on our plate. Dressed well and not only looked sharp but also answered every question without hesistance, with a certainty that made us think we were dining in a star restaurant. Chapeau!

The Cafe is very clean and waiters are friendly. And we liked the menü, it's healty and delicious.

Beautiful cafe with delicious lunch options. The inside is lovely and has a very uplifting vibe. Ordered the broccoli soup and sweet potato fries. The soup was flavorful and the fries had a great crunch. Also ordered a stroopwaffle apple dessert (not pictured) and it was delightful! Not too sweet and went perfectly with an espresso. The second time we enjoyed afternoon tea. The savory items were better than the dessert, but everything was still delicious for the price. Also, we really enjoyed the selection of tea and the unlimited hot water. Would definitely recommend a high tea here with friends! While this is definitely a place to go to meet up with friends, they did have a little table with coloring books for kids in the corner. I look forward to returning in the future and trying their high tea or high gin!

Hands down for the afternoon tea set menu! My family took me here for a last minute afternoon tea bridal shower. Booked in the morning, and within the limited time they prepared most wonderful table set up. Food is 10 out of 10. Love the sandwiches options and all the cakes. Such a beautiful presentation. They also served different option of loose tea. Must try if you’re around Alkmaar!

A beautiful restaurant in Alkmaar. Food was but late (30minutes) but worth the wait , Ordered borrel plank and it was superb , definitely worth your money . And you must try cocobars as well . girls were nice and attentive

I ordered the grilled chicken and it was very tasty and had a good texture. Great service and good prices
