Clinique De L'oeil De Casablanca - Docteur Mohammed CHAHBI

Ophthalmology clinic

😠 Incredibly crowded, rude staff and terrible management that doesn't respect appointment times. Patients are treated horribly, some of the waiting rooms where the patients receive eye drops and prepare for the operation are unsanitary. The patients aren't given any answers or explanations in regards... People often mention patients, clinic, doctor, waiting,

Very bad listeners including the doctor I was confused honestly about how fast they are just trying to get rid of you although you speak to them politely, in a friendly way and pay a lot of money in advance. I was ignoring the bad reviews before I went in because I see how the casual Moroccans act there which doesn't help much to be nice back to them but these guys are just living under that rude mask forever now regardless at this point. The mess and long waiting hours even a week after my appointment is true and factual, and I did disregard and tolerate it because my priority remains the final result. Not professional emotionally wise nor competent when it comes to medicine skills. I had to go to another Doctor to fix my condition.

I have never seen a clinic like this, the Doctor himself, according to his assistants, forbade me to be present during the consultation of my father who is over 90 years old. Something which is inconceivable and unacceptable. I asked them for a report after the consultation, they refused, and told me that he does not give a report (diagnosis) until after the operation. Customer service is lousy. We would say the souk. I strongly advise anyone who has a person dear to their heart not to come and see this doctor or his clinic. It's as if he was volunteering. Never seen a doctor who refuses to explain to the patient or his representative what he has. I had to ask the “nurse” the cause of one of the problems, she told me “MAN 3AND LAH”. If I could give it -10 I would.

Patients are treated horribly, some of the waiting rooms where the patients receive eye drops and prepare for the operation are unsanitary. The patients aren't given any answers or explanations in regards to their treatment and are treated like cattle, left in a hot room without ac before operation. The waiting rooms feel like hell with a bunch of people in a very uncomfortable and painful state. Some are left waiting for hours without food or water and are told to wait indefinitely without explanation. If the clinic is unable to receive all the patients either expand or stop accepting patients when it doesn't have the means to take care of them in minimal humane and sanitary conditions. Absolutely disgraceful.

It was my first time in a clinique in morocco however I wasn't in any need for it but to be with my friend we travelled 90km to get there on time according to the given appointment, up to here everything went well then the shocking reality of the matter kicked in ... Lack of professionalism towards one of the most vulnerable pupplic sectors which is Healthcare. Anyway it's not even worth commenting and wasting my time on the experience itself ...

I had consulted Medecain Dr Chahbi in the past (redness, itching, dry eyes, vision correction). The first contact about the reason for the consultation and the examinations are made by one of the assistances. Dr Chahbi sees me in the last stage very quickly (2 to 3 minutes), I still expected a somewhat in-depth examination with some useful explanations related to the diagnosis (causes, treatment, prevention, etc.). The corrections (far and near view) are defined by one of the assistance (I don't know if this is normal or not). Once, the assistant only checked distance vision, when I asked her to check near vision, she told me that this was not necessary since its correction is defined according to vision. from afar and from age???, something that I personally found a little strange!!! Personally, I have decided to no longer contact Dr. Chahbi for the reasons mentioned above. I sincerely fear that the financial concerns behind the passage of a very large number of patients during the day to the detriment of the necessary time which must be devoted to each patient would be called into question. This opinion does not concern aspects related to the skills of the doctor which I cannot judge and which seem to be of a high level according to his reputation.

My visit to this clinic was bad, to say the least. It was a wait of more than 4 hours amid stifling overcrowding. Finally, Dr. Al-Muntadhar Al-Shahbi Muhammad came in blue operating room clothes stained with blood and frightening, as if he were a butcher to see waiting patients. If he is a doctor, he must know that operating clothes stained with blood must be removed immediately after leaving the room. He performed the operations because they were contaminated and might harm the rest of the patients, but he used to move them around the clinic in the presence of elderly people whose immunity was low, without any respect. When it was my turn, he did not give me any opportunity, not even half a minute, to say what I was complaining about. When I tried to speak politely, he shouted at me that it was not important what I was going to say, the height of arrogance. I waited 4 hours, and my meeting with the doctor did not last more than 4 minutes. After the radio for the eyes, for another 500 dirhams, I had to wait. Another hour and I thought I would see Dr. Al-Shahbi again to evaluate the condition and explain the radio results, but I was surprised by another person who also expressed annoyance when I asked him about explaining the radio results and that I should not know. Conclusion This is a primarily commercial clinic with no consideration or respect for the patients, especially Dr. Al-Shahbi Muhammad, who is the height of arrogance. Indeed, visiting this clinic feels like a day in hell
