What an AMAZING experience we had at the Stars Hotel! First we had to stop for a refreshing drink and our server Brahim was so helpful! His service was so great we returned the next day for lunch and the burger and fries were so good kudos to the kitchen! Hiba was patiently awaiting to serve us with any needs and was very helpful with any questions we had. I at some time realized this restaurant was connected to this hotel and had to experience it in full. So I booked 1 night and let me tell you we were so pleased. First Khalid gave us a thorough tour and I was sold! At the front seat I was helped with everything by Samira Zahira. Amine was there to save our day and walked us to the small store to help us find some shampoo. His smile is amazing! My favorite Person is Nawal! I can’t tell you how much he made us feel at home. Always there to provide all our needs in the restaurant Pensee. Last but most importantly housekeeping, Amal and Alton were always available to provide the little extras we needed like water 😁…A must go to place to stay! Definitely will be coming back to see my home away from home!

Stayed here last year with my husband. This year booked 2 rooms with my family. Who are kids/students. Come back one day to a cleaner sitting down doing makeup in my room. Witnessed 2 fights . 3 cleaners hanging around a customers room when they came back from their outing. BUT WORST OF ALL. My younger sister room she did not close the safe properly. And we came back and £50 is missing. They are being very rude.

Had a wonderful stay at the Stars Hotel & Spa. A lovely pool on the rooftop gives a lovely view with generous seating area. The rooms are spacious and spotless. A special thanks to Samira, Fatima, Khalid, Amine and Mohammed for being so kind and helpful.

AVOID BOOKING THIS HOTEL AT ALL COSTS. It is not a fancy 4 star hotel if anything I would give it 1 star and the staff are the worst people I’ve come across and beyond unhelpful and rude. Please ready thoroughly! I’ve had the worst experience at this hotel. We had 3 men in our room at night and I saw them upon my return from an excursion at around 9.30pm. I am a woman who wears the scarf and upon entering my room with my husband I took it off walked around and saw a light from the balcony and a man standing at the door to the balcony inside the room. The rest of our room lights were off when we entered. We asked what they’re doing there and they were shocked to see us. They said they came to fix an AC but our AC was already working and we didn’t ask for any assistance. When we called reception to ask why the men are there they couldn’t answer. Nobody had answers. On top of that, they were just standing there when I entered and I had to kick them out my room with fear that 3 men could do anything to us. All my bags, jewellery, shoes EVERYTHING was lying around the room and some of our stuff looked misplaced. It was an absolute horror and mess. We asked to speak to the hotel manager and the lady at the reception refused to call him for us. She couldn’t even answer why she never told us men were entering the room and that they didn’t have proof that we requested anything. The room even smelt of smoke when we came in.We were shocked to learn that they casually smoked in our room. They looked so suspicious and kept talking amongst themselves without us understanding. We called the police and they took a very long while to arrive. Upon arrival, they spoke to the hotel and told them that it was unacceptable that men entered and that if we don’t feel safe, we should be refunded our hotel amount. The hotel refused. I was so scared for my life considering we now called the police too that we left that same night and booked another hotel. We came across other families that stayed at the hotel that also had their privacy invaded. This isn’t just a one time case. Avoid this hotel for your own sake and safety!

We had a nice stay here at the start and end of our Morocco trip. First night we got an upgrade which was warmly welcomed. However, the bath takes forever to fill and the shower has a bit of mould around the bottom. The regular rooms feel cleaner and nicer I wouldn’t bother upgrading. Pool on the rooftop is small and in summer the tiles get very hot. Sun chairs and umbrellas a bit worn. Breakfast is very average. A lot of pastries but not many secondary ingredients to complete the meal. Omelettes can be requested. Could be upgraded by having a selection of cereals, spreads and some fresh local fruit as options.

Rooms were fine and it feels as though it is a hotel that is perhaps trying to appear fancier than it is. Avoid the spa is you can. We had a hammam there and it was truly an odd and underwhelming experience. One attendant for the two of us. So she took turns pouring warm water on us. No scrubbing, nothing. Just a bunch of cheap soap and warm water. Avoid!!

Staying at the Stars Hotel & Spa was the best decision for our visit to Marrakech! We were greeted with such warm and vibrant energy from the staff. We love Amin- excursions, he’s so helpful and just an amazing being! Fatima - front desk, is delightful and always sports a smile! Khalid- bellman, his energy is so infectious! He made such a positive impression on our trip. Pensée, the restaurant has everything you will need and the inclusive breakfast is beyond what we expected and looked forward to it in the mornings. Malika and Mohammed were great to us. Malika especially took such great care of us and I can honestly say we will miss her! She’s such a sunshine of a person. I honestly feel like I have a home in Marrakech now having stayed at Stars Hotel. They are also close to everywhere you need to go and will help you with anything you need! LOVED IT and everyone added to our amazing trip!

Nice clean Hotel. Room was spacious with balcony, smart tv, excellent shower. Breakfast was good. The rooftop pool was not heated, so was to cold to swim in. The indoor swimming pool was part of the spa. We did use the spa which was excellent at a premium but could not use the indoor pool because again it was very cold and not heated. We will definitely be still using this hotel again. Location is excellent near to shops, restaurants, money exchange , clinics and a mosque. Staff were all very nice from the reception desk, restaurant staff and housekeeping staff. Thank you for a wonderful stay. See you soon, inshAllah

We’ve paid our dues in Marrakech. Stayed in a cosy riad in the wonderful, but noisy and claustrophobic medina…stayed in a luxurious Kenzi hotel…but taxi rides from anywhere. The Stars Hotel and Spa is the perfect compromise…unbeatable location only a few metres from the main avenue running through Gueliz…with dozen of restaurants and cafes within a five minute stroll. It is a pleasant half hour walk or €5 taxi from the Medina (1km). The hotel is staffed by the friendliest, most hard working people imaginable. The breakfast leans towards Moroccan cuisine…plus a fabulous array of breads and pastries. They will happily make you an omelette. Our room was large, modern and with a great bathroom and balcony. The outdoor/indoor restaurant/cafe terrace area is perfect. I cannot speak too highly of our experience here…Dec 4-7 2023.

Beautiful hotel and amazing staff. A total gem. Khaled was extremely helpful and welcoming along with the rest of the staff. The room was really clean and kept well. Definitely recommend if you want good vibes, good food and excellent service, also within walking/short car ride distance from attractions.

This is the worst place I’ve ever stayed in. In one of the days I went out and I came back with 3 men in the balcony of my room. To my surprise when I asked what they were doing they informed me they were fixing an AC. I didn’t not REQUEST an AC to be fixed and when I went to speak to the manager she bluntly lied and said she wasn’t not aware. I had to call the police and when they came they were also shocked to hear what had happened and when the hotel manager was questioned why they didn’t let us know there was going to be people in my room they couldn’t answer. Besides I also encountered another family who had money missing in their room and caught house keepers using their makeup. Also there’s so much noise above the room we stayed in couldn’t catch a sleep in my first night. Please avoid this place at all cost if you want to enjoy your holiday and not encounter issues!

We stayed here for 5 days and this hotel is fantastic! Rooms are a very nice size, very clean and the staff are lovely. There is a restaurant and spa attached which are both amazing. Would highly recommend the spa. The location is perfect, only less than 5 minutes away from markets, restaurants, bars etc. Loved our stay here and will definitely be back.

Very happy with my stay here, the hotel is in a great location with lots of restaurants and shops nearby. The rooms were very clean and spacious. The hotel's restaurant Pensée was amazing the food was of very high quality and had a nice outdoor seating area. All staff were very polite especially the concierge Khalid who went above and beyond to make us feel at home.

Amazing staff and super nice hotel! Huge thanks to all the staff. We had to leave the hotel at 4:30 am but they managed it to bring us our breakfast to the room at 4am already. Thank you very much

The first impression was good - extremely friendly and helpful staff, good location, spacious room, good price. We stayed four nights at this hotel and unfortunately it got worse with every day. The breakfast was okay but nothing special. Some products didn’t look fresh at all. The walls are thin so be ready to hear when your neighbours enter their room and use their bathroom. We were told that the hotel is new, only one year but the furniture looked like from the 90ties. One day we woke up and had no water in our bathroom - neither warm nor cold. Fortunately, they were able to fix it the same day. The last drop was the last night. We wanted to catch some sleep before our flight on Friday but we were woken up by a very loud sound around 6 am. We suppose that someone was cleaning the swimming pool which was right above us (we had a room in the 5th floor and the swimming pool was in the 6th). But even after breakfast when we entered our room we could hear that loud continuous sound. If you plan to stay in this hotel, please don’t forget to take the ear plugs with you.

Beautiful hotel. The staff is really good, and very well located, close to all kind of shops, near to Jamaa Lafna and Gueliz, they have a beautiful view from the Rooftop

Everything was really nice since the check in with Khalid at the door and Samira at the counter. Both were really nice and made the kick off the week end super smooth! Also big up for Ismaïl from maintenance ! I recommend this place for a nice stay !

Mostly good hotel but with things to improve. Check-in was confusing and details like getting a towel were complex. The spa seemed always closed. The staff on the breakfast was very helping and polite.

We were very satisfied with both the hotel and the service. I would like to focus particularly on the services of the reception staff as well as the restaurant staff and the girls in the hammam. Thank you guys.

Stayed here for one night and it was quite nice, the stuff is helpful and friendly. But restaurant here is just great, came here for breakfasts while no longer being the hotel guest.

I would 100% would come back to this hotel and would recommend to anyone wanting a hotel in marrakech. Khalid the door man was great, so welcoming and friendly he greeted us from the get go with a warm welcome. Room was big and clean but lacked personality in the room. The lobby is beautiful as well as the restaurant, I hoped that was reflected in the rooms but it was not. The AC was not great in the room, was right beneath it and was still warm. The restaurant added to the hotel was decent, nothing amazing. The drinks were great! it was nice and clean. The menus was complicated they didn’t have simple things which made it difficult to order as they tried to make it fancy. Breakfast was not the best, again they tried to make it fancy but just did a poor job and it was overdone and below expectations. The female staff (during breakfast) were so rude, they were reluctant to serve us what we wanted due to it being an additional cost which we didn’t mind paying but she insisted that we must get up from breakfast and pay that instant. Khalid then spoke to the lady and she backed off. The spa in the hotel was never even “in use”, on the first day we booked a hamam and on the day of the booking they said we didn’t book. The staff were all sat downstairs doing nothing YET they was unable to book us in or make time for us. The Spa staff (receptionist young girl) also was making rude comments and making us uncomfortable, although we was foreigners to the country we understood the language and I don’t think they realised as they continued on several occasions to make sly remarks.

We had a week travel to Marrakech, and we choose to stay in different parts of the city, our last day was in Stars Hotel because we wanted something more fancy, and what a disappointment! We arrived close to 3pm, the staff was really friendly, nothing to say about that. When we enter the floor we had our room at, everything seemed to be under construction, one thing that is not mentioned in any part of the reservation, the walls were still in the painting process... When we entered our room at first sight it seemed to be really nice because it was big, but then we started to check closer... the ceiling was not finished, the wooden baseboards on the walls, and light switches, were covered in white paint. The lock on the bathroom door was worn out. The bathroom had spots still full of paint stains. The bed mattress is high and didn't even have sheets that covered it completely. The switches next to the bed were half broken. The room has almost no light, and what it does have is yellow and dark. They didn't even consider the request I had made about doing something pretty in the bedroom, as it was our 10th anniversary. As we had been sightseeing all morning and had just checked in, we decided to rest a bit before heading out again. We were in bed, when we heard someone unlocking the door of our room and entering, we had to tell them please not to enter so they would close it again... I found it unacceptable that they were entering a room that had a reservation for just one night and that had already checked in, and on top of that without even knocking before entering. We spent a horrible night, as there was construction work in front of our room (in the room opposite ours), and the noise was constant. In the morning when I went to shower it was another amazing movie. There was an old mobile shower with no pressure at all and another large fixed one, first for the hot water to come it was a horrible wait, then I clicked the button to activate the top shower and it didn't work, when it finally worked I started to take a shower... in the middle of the shower I ran out of water in both showers, it took more than 2 minutes to come back and when it came back it was freezing, it took at least another 3 minutes for hot water to come, I almost had a hypothermic shock... They only have medium towels and hand towels, they don't have big towels or those typical towels to wrap around the head... They only had shampoo and fysical soap, not even shower gel... The air conditioning has the outside part on our balcony, and in the morning the balcony was soaked with water... The breakfast, which was supposed to be continental, was not at all! It has very little variety, there were pancakes but they were really hard, impossible to eat, we ended up having a croissant and an orange juice and left.... It's definitely not worth the price, and it's not a 4 star hotel at all, I've been to 3 star hotels with much better quality.
