This is The most terrible hotel ever we have been to. Never never never go here and dont believe The 5 stars review. This hotel has nothing and No food? You pay 3000€ for all inclusieve and there is No food for everybody. At 4 o clock my Son wants to eat something but there is No food?? All The terrible french Marocaine people take so much like really all The food and nobody says something. If I ask for food for my Son they told me there is No food anymore??! My Son need to wait till 19:30 in The eventing to eat? And then they shout at me? The men who work there just shout to you If you dare to say they did wrong. I had a terrible experince here and I go for 30 years to Morrocco and never evere get treated like this. One men even ask me to Come to my room? For what? Hé wanted to chill in my room? Are you crazy? This type of people are disgusting. No respect, No food and believe me The food was The same and they just warm it up, I get sick for 5 days cause The food is not Fresh. Please dont go here. Dont book here. Its really not worth it The 3000€ and het bad food. I know The Marocaine kitchen and this is bad Marocaine food. I have nothing good to say About this hotel. All The time people get in right About The food cause there is not enough for everybody. Instead I get a relax holiday, they give you a stressed holiday. Never ever again.

Atrocious! Arrived at 11.30pm with 4 children checked in 2 hours late due to delayed flight, Hotel Manager then says that our booking has been cancelled as we didn’t check in on time and said it was our fault and no rooms were available despite having confirmed our booking. Hotel manager didn’t seem to care that it was late night, children were tired and didn’t even offer to find alternative accommodation. Had to ring around several hotels at midnight and manage to get something at 2pm. Thank you La Branda for the first pleasant experience to Marrakesh. Having been here 7 days now I can honestly say that the Moroccans are one on the most hospitable people I’ve come across, the Hotel manager must be an exception. Doesn’t deserve any stars.

I was Really happy with this hotel the service was great The staff were really friendly. The rooms are dated but are clean and air con worked. The food was fresh and tasty loads of different choices fresh vegetables and meats cooked in tajine in lovely sauces. Grilled fish, roast chicken, roast lamb lots of salads you certainly won't go hungry. The hotel is situated in a Great location. I do not have anything bad to say about this hotel I would definitely recommend this hotel and I would definitely stay again. Evening entertainment could improve but might be as we went slightly out of season

This is very worst hotel I ever had in my entire life. Nothing is good in this hotel. Not enough water coming in shower. Very old building and need maintenance. Pool is very dirty and lots of small things are inside pool. Not good food quility. I had vomiting after lunch in this hotel. My husband also very sick. To many local people and they put hand inside the food. I would not recommend this hotel for British people or any foreign people. Very bad service and no hygiene maintaining in this hotel. I will never come to this hotel again and not recommending anyone. I agree with all the comments been given by other people recently. I would not recommend this hotel. This hotel is for local people and third class standered. Using disposable glass and Spoons. I would give zero star to this hotel even I would say this is not hotel, its higher version of guesthouse.

This was my second stay at this Resort and first with my family, we had a fantastic time and wanted to thank everyone who works there - especially Habib and his team, from the catering team, porters, cleaners, security and the pool team - everyone was awesome and the kids enjoyed their stay. This place is my recommendation for fantastic family holiday stay in Marrakesh

I found this hotel to be a con. We had agreed a price and had confirmation emails to say this is the price for our stay. When we got to the hotel, we were asked to pay a much higher price eventhough we had a confirmation email. It was shocking. The ladies at reception just expected us to pay up the new price which was much more than what had been agreed as we arrived late at night. They did nothing to accommodate us or help us. The reason for the emails was because the online hotel system was not working and it was not clear if our price was per person or for everyone (also a scam).

Although the hotel itself is good we found that this hotel is extremely unpleasant if you are British. The service we witnessed everyone else getting is certainly not the service we received. Especially in the dinning area. All staff were extremely rude, again they were extremely pleasant with other hotel guests. I wouldn’t recommend or stay again.

Set your expectations before coming. You’ve booked a modestly priced all inclusive hotel in North Africa. If you do that, you’ll not be disappointed with this hotel. Firstly the staff all work really hard. From the restaurant to the gardeners and animation team. They all work around the clock to make the hotel clean, presentable and comfortable. We had a family room that was more like a small apartment. Clean, spacious and relatively new. The food was overall good. A little hit and miss but I was surprised to see other reviews of English families struggling to choose for their kids. Every day there was a selection of pizza, pasta, rice, chips etc for any “fussy” eaters and the local dishes were great. The animation team work really hard to keep people entertained if that’s your bag. Heard some complaints from other guests that I would class as “trivial” mostly due to the fact they were expecting something beyond this hotels price point.

Negatives The air conditioning is pretty much non existent, I actually got in touch with the reception because I genuinely thought it was broken in my room but it's just incredibly weak which isn't exactly convenient when the temperature around you is around 44 degrees. Was with family so checked the second room we booked and it was the same there so I can't even say it was just a faulty ac in one room. The room card key is temperamental, For both rooms that were booked they would work now and again. I had to go to reception multiple times to try and fix it, eventually it did but I think I had to go around 5 times consecutively. The food is quite monotonous and rather bland. I can understand its a buffet style and it's trying to please the mass amount of people so this method is a more safer way of going about it but you're pretty much eating the same foods everyday and it's quite plain tasting. Complementary bottles of water are served at dinner which is nice, however they're quite warm to the touch...again in a hot country like that it's not exactly ideal. I think maybe the bottles are left out before dinner time, which over time, just gets warm. At times I feel like just their process of doing things is somewhat questionable. With a half board, we were entitled to one free dinner of morrocan style food and one free dinner of French style food. We were told that those would need to be booked at a counter next to reception from 10 to 12. The issue with this is that no one was at said place. For 3 days we checked and no one was ever there, it was closed. When we inquired about it at reception, we were told dinner is fully booked now unfortunately. So again, I just feel they could have a system in place that's a bit more logical. Language barrier - this isn't exactly a fault of the people working there but mostly it's Arabic and French that is spoken. I don't have an issue with that at all but it's things like, when they were trying to help me with my room card key (as stated above) they sent someone who only spoke French when I feel like there were other people there who could've helped me who spoke English. I feel its rather counter productive when you're trying to fix an issue I have....but you can't when I can't understand what the person who's trying to help is saying. I just thought I'd include it for people who might consider this hotel to be aware of. Positives From my experience, the reception did genuinely try to help. Whenever there was an issue, they did seem like there was a matter of urgency and any issue was addressed quite quickly. Overall: TLDR I would look elsewhere. You're in a country that's really warm...their AC is basically non existent. There's issues with the room. The food is bland. The drinks are warm. The organisation is questionable. If you're travelling with kids, I don't think it's fair on them to be suffering in such heat.

I am so disappointed in this place. Staying here right now. On day 3 and it is terrible. The air con is non existent. In a hot country, I just can’t believe that this is acceptable. The room ac is terrible even after an “engineer” came to fix it. All he did was clean the dust covered vents. The only place air con works is the spa (I guess it’s due to you spending money there). We had 5 family rooms booked. Which consists of 2 bedrooms and a bathroom with 2 sets of showers and a toilet. Some rooms had a balcony others had a big entrance. Each room had it down problems unfortunately eg no aircon, broken fridge, broken tiles, no wifi, broken amenities etc. Rooms are dirty. I watched them mop the bathroom and then drag that same mop across the room 3 different occasions. A rom is not cleaned in one go. You are disturbed several times, they will take the towels, then later clean the room, and finally return to give fresh towels. The restaurant is horrendously hot. The staff in red t shirts are mostly rude but I understand why. They are working in a baking room with no aircon. The assistant manager is amazing though. Very polite and friendly and remembers guests. There’s no system where one person looks after one area. They’re all over the place. Getting a drink is so difficult. I do not understand why there isn’t a dispenser system since the same 2 drinks are served. Water at breakfast time is impossible. Two 5l bottle would be left to be shared amongst guests with a long gap to replace them. The food is terrible. Lunchtime has some horrid fries for the kids and evening has thin burnt tasting pizza. Queues are long. I don’t understand why lunch and dinner is at specific times yet when gussets turn up things are still being cooked. The favourite items are obvious yet they are not being replaced regularly. Which results in guests taking large portions with fear of having to wait again. Plates are constantly running out and they’re either dirty or chipped. Food is obviously being reused from lunch to dinner and the next day. They have the same food every is for day. With maybe one or 2 items changed during the week. Honestly I’d be happy never to have morrocan food again after this experience. From my group of 20 every single one of us had food poisoning. I watched from my balcony how the kitchen staff hose down fruit and veg behind the kitchen which doesn’t look hygienic. One thing I noticed was they prefer their own people and will overlook any queue and serve their own French/Arab speaking guests. I did confront staff once and he served me and then sarcastically asked me if I was happy now. The balcony door doesn’t lock which is concerning for a family room. The lift broke one day with people stuck in the hot lift for over an hour, screaming and crying. From seeing other reviews I can see this is a regular thing Please note you roll be charged a tax for staying here. We had a very ill member in our group when we arrived staff refused to let us use any facilities until we checked in. Which took over an hour due to our agent making an error. The pools are a redeeming point. Very good point for families. Lots of sun beds. Bar staff seem nice too. The hotel tourist attractions are overpriced. The things they have advertised we got much cheaper from touts. I did enjoy the spa. The aircon felt amazing. Staff are very polite and friendly. I do think it was expensive for morroco but honestly after the hotel experience I need to relax. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone. The manager response is an insult as nothing changed in the 4 days I had left of the vacation

Rooms were a good size, but overall did not meet expectations. There were issues with the AC, then couldn't get access to room. The food was so bland and repetitive. The only good thing i would say was the pool area. I wouldnt book here again though. Please avoid as there is always one issue after another. The positive side to it is the location which is Closeby to the malls and restaurants.

This is a great hotel that is value for money and in a great location, the food is good , sometimes not good but overall decent, rooms are spacious and clean but the air conditioning is terrible, the pool and aqua park at the hotel are amazing and so is the location, 10 minute walk from the main mall which has everything you need, also 10 minute walk to McDonald’s, the hotel has its own cash machine and currency exchange and the WiFi is good in the lobby, not so good in the room. I would recommend this place

No aircon and a leak in the bathroom everytime I showered. Asked several times for this to be repaired and it never was. After a week I changed rooms which was much better. There are 3 restaurants the Italian is fine the buffet has a big range of dishes but the good is so so and the maroccan is ok too. Breakfast is ok. They make eggs to order which is the highlight. Main pool is nice. Slides are ok and the pool next to the slides is a bit odd as the membrane on the floor is coming away. Fine to swim in just odd to walk on. Staff generally nice. The manager Yasim is aggressive, rude and arrogant. He had no concern for my well being as a customer or my experience and only wanted me to handover my money. The hotel would be better off without him.

We loved the hotel swimming pools, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The service staff were very helpful, especially Lamia. Staff speak English (in addition to French and Arabic) which was very helpful.

The hotel was lovely, staff really made my family feel welcome especially Brahim at food service. He was always attentive and great with the kids. Most of the staff go above and beyond to ensure you’re having a good time. The entertainment was great and we would definitely stay again!

  • 3/5 Kirby G. 1 year ago on Google
Overall solid, but with some major issues. The rooms had really weird showers that get water everywhere because there's no door, and some of the construction seemed a bit shoddy. We didn't have any counter space in the bathroom, and the room got really warm at some times of day. The buffet was very good and included, but required an arm band which seemed silly and archaic. The main issue was disorganization at the front desk: at one point we tried to extend our stay, and were told that's fine, paid, and then within 30 minutes were told we actually couldn't and had to find somewhere else to stay. If we had left the hotel immediately, it would have caused a huge issue.

Overall just average - one unpleasant thing that stands out is the dilapidated state of the hotel interior, which is run-down, and has damp smells in hallways that are not well lit. Rooms are average and old-looking, with the bathroom having substantial water leaks every time you use it to take a shower. Something to keep in mind for non-smokers - I was also surprised that this hotel allows indoor smoking in the rooms, and had an uncomfortable experience for the nights where my room smelt of cigarette smoke as it came from my neighbours through the communal corridors. The buffet dinner served at the hotel restaurant was pretty good and was the only thing I looked forward to.

My mother and I stayed in this hotel for a week. It was one of the best hotels we had been to. The hotel staff are extremely kind and helpful. Restaurant staff as well. If you need anything, they will provide it for you quickly. Excellent food quality. They have different delicious dessert. Clean room and good air-condition. When we were there, the water in the pool was cold, it was not possible to swim, but the atmosphere of the hotel is so beautiful and you can enjoy the surroundings of the garden. It is only a few minutes away from the center (Medina) by taxi. Overall, I thank this hotel for the good service. We will definitely come again.

Lovely location, staff friendly and helpful Special thanks to Essaid who treated us like kings and queens, Mama Toure very helpful. Tariq in the restaurant always welcoming us with a smile and last but not the least the lovely Fairouz Sina and all the reception staff and the guy who arranged our tour. We had a fantastic time and the food was really nice and the hamman season was heavenly. Thanks . Can’t wait to come back again.

The reason for my rating is to help people what to expect in regards to accommodation when coming to this hotel. Although I had a positive experience, I do not want to say it was a 4* or 5* as that would give the impression to others that the rooms were of 4/5* standard. The price was great. Really affordable, and half board included. Rooms could be better, and service could also be better. But then price would be higher. When we arrived, we were early. We were given a room which was still left dirty from the last person! The cleaner quickly cleaned it but don’t give us a room which is still dirty. I don’t want to see the state of the room it was immediately off putting. The bathrooms just had a sliding door - no lock and remained slightly open. No privacy. This was a big negative. Rooms were okay, nothing fancy. But it was decent enough for a good night sleep. The breakfast was okay, the moroccan flat bread was nice. I did not enjoy the dinner. But again, I did not expect to. I only booked half board as it was cheaper than to not do half board. The best part of this hotel is the exterior. The pool is huge, the water slides are great fun and the kids pool and kids club was also excellent. Friendly staff members. My son thoroughly enjoyed this and so did I. Therefore, I would book this hotel again because although the room was a bit disappointing, the location, the price and the outside facilities were very much worth it in my opinion.

Amazing stay! Mustafa and Khadijah were the best!!! honestly me and my wife needed a vacation and by far this was suited to our standards! The place to stay it was in new town near all the nice restaurants and amazing vibes! it was not far from old city either! The location was perfect! Everyone knew of Labranda as it is a well known hotel! we used the spa it was divine and used all the aqua park which was soooo much fun!!! The pool was so clean! Only thing i would say they need to sort out the ac it was very low and the breakfast needs more variety other than that 11 out of 10!!!!!

We had an upstanding experience thanks to the staff of the hotel, big up Madame Zubida who was caring and extremely professional with us, also to Munir, the restaurant manager, he would always be attentive to us and ask about our day and food experience, and the beautiful room service lady who not only was kind but extremely friendly and professional Lamia. The hotel was great but this 3 individuals made it a 10 star experience. The food was amazing, the room was large and clean, activities and music in the night time.. great, we cant wait to come back. Kind regards. Zohra and Mina xx

Just spent a week at this hotel and wouldn't recommend it to anyone. It's old dated and this is evident by the ripped bedding, chipped crockery and old furniture. There are no double beds and they join to single if you hooked a double room. The restaurant is even worse with limited variety and same menu each day. What they do serve is also not available all at once and is served in session so you need to visit a few times to get the full variety and stand on the queue each time. Refills are really slow or non existent. We paid for a all inclusive package but you get no snacks between meals and no water in your room. After asking you will get one bottle per room per day which in the hot weather is not enough do ended up buying our own. The evening entertainment is all in Arabic and repetitive. This is definitely not a 4 star hotel

Really nice staff. A fully equipped gym which I loved. Clean and well organized room. An entertaining staff team for kids and a full-fledged aqua parc in a center city. Everything you would expect from a great hotel. Would definitely be booking again

We had a wonderful 2 week stay with the family . The staff were extremely welcoming always making sure everything went smoothly. The pool is outstandingly clean as of the waterpark. The dinners and breakfast were cooked to perfection every day lots of many foods to choose from.

Just returned from an eleven night stay. Found the staff very welcoming and friendly from the second we arrived. All areas of the complex were clean and well maintained. The entertainment team work hard throughout the day and night with activities around the pool and show's/dance parties at night. Loved it. Special thanks to the restaurant and bar staff for looking after us day and night.

The staff are amazing, food is really lovely ,.don't listen to any of the very isolated poor reviews because they are obviously off people who have poor taste. I've been to many all inclusive and the.food here is very high standard as it is at all labranda resorts I have been to. The hotel has a.real traditional feel. It's super clean and welcoming. The rooms are beautiful

Stayed 23rd - 27th March for my twenty third birthday with my partner. All inclusive. We had a wonderful stay, check in was a teeny bit slow due to a system error which after a long flight wasn’t ideal but couldn’t be helped and was quickly rectified by the receptionist. The room we booked was clean and had the necessities - big comfy bed, hair dryer, towels, shampoo&shower gel, mini fridge. I imagine the top floor superior are a bit bigger and fancier? The housekeeper was very friendly and even gave us fluffy white robes on the second day of our stay, and provided us with extra pillowcases for the spare pillows in the wardrobe. The food was okay for an all-inclusive. Breakfast was nice with fresh pastries and bread rolls every morning, coffee was served to you from an automatic machine but was really quite nice and they had traditional Moroccan tea available too. The fresh omelettes cooked by the chef were my favourite. Lunch and dinner were nice enough too, we actually preferred the lunch options which were made up of different things everyday (including a BBQ on the terrace overlooking the main pool, although this wasn’t made clear so you had to find out about it yourself by following your nose!) but always with traditional Moroccan tajine available and fresh salad. Overall a really nice stay with lovely people in a beautiful country.

We are not staying at the hotel, a hotel up the road, but we have stayed in their hotel in Malta and absolutely loved it there so asked if we could go in and eat/ use the bar and they were more than welcoming. The service was absolutely brilliant and so friendly. Of you can book this hotel in Marrakech then I strongly recommend you do. All the staff are very welcome and helpful with any queries you have.
